Actually the reason the game was killed was like every other MGS game Kojima takes way too fucking long to finish them and when you're Konami and it's your only good pony left in the races and you're bleeding money out the ass with everything else you're doing you can't wait for him to take another 1-2 years to finish it

Considering how minimal the videos are in the game as it contains less than half the cutscenes MGS4 did and had been in production since 2011 I don't fault Konami for telling Kojima to fuck off and push that shit out
