Yes, I think the game I played most on the DS was Metroid Prime Hunters with a splash of Pokemon here or there. For the 3ds I played a shit ton of Monster Hunter 3U, 4U and generations. I played through OOT again/played AC:NL and got tired of the thing burning its battery in two hours. I played the DS a lot more and the thing didn't kill itself nearly as efficiently. I think I used my 3DS more due to MH, I have put decent times into a couple of other games too.

I only owned one for about 5 months. I waited until quite late into the cycle, got an n3DS with all the shit I wanted, simply assuming there were more games I cared about. Ended up with like 4 games and was bored of them before I finished them. Traded it to a friend for his eks bawkz wan so I could play online with some other console fag friends, have enjoyed it a lot more even though I only use it one day a week.

tl;dr 3DS was a shit show, as bad if not worse than the WiiU, unless you're a pokefag or monhunfag, then it was merely mediocre.
