I always had issues with console-tans.
It's obvious the artist(s) put alot of thought and love into the designs of their favorites, and barely try with ones they don't like.
Plus the whole disconnect from one to the other. A good example is look at snes-tan. Her outfit is a controller, obviously they put alot of thought into her outfit and how it would represent the SNES as a gaming machine. Then you have stuff like wiiu, which is essentially someone's milf fetish but with a u painted on it.
Hell most of the non Nintendo ones are just a random logo on a bland character instead of any effort being put into them.
