It should. Some teachers can be extremely motivating, and even if not, hunger (or lack of consumer goods), propaganda and being able to get a job which won't alienate you will.

Cause you'll:
A) Be funded to go to school.
B) Get a job after you finish.

Cause, you know, you go out there and people are proposing you jobs all the time.

People would be provided with all their material needs anyway, the work would be carried out on a strictly interest basis. All production of necessaries would be fully automated.

Some things will also be motivated more socially - ideally there'd be a sense of community and so thered be a sense of obligation to do certain things for the good of the community (litterpicking, garbage collection or what have you). Noone wants to live in a complete shithole and believe it or not - when they arent completely fucking oppressed people enjoy taking care of their community and environment.
