It could have moved the dodge button to Shift, making the character dodge when it's pressed and sprint when it's held down. Even Corean MMO shit managed to do that in fucking Unreal 3. There's simply no excuse for not having a dodge button. Then again I haven't played it yet so I wouldn't know if it has one or not.

Most publishers dont remove it because they release DLCs and updates after the crack which has a patched Denuvo version on it.

Denuvo will keep being used by the publisher in their upcoming games if the 2 factors are met:
1. You buy the game with Denuvo, therefore you give them the idea that Denuvo does increase the sales
2. If there is no day 1 crack

But if you don't buy a Denuvo game, then publishers will realize that Denuvo does not increase the sales, and they will stop using it.

The game allows mods and shit (I did have to use a user-made patch to fix the resolution issue so I could run it at proper 1440, so the ports a little shaky but meh, it was easily fixed) and for me it hasn't had any problems. I don't like DRM anymore than the rest of you but what is so terrible about Denuvo that to you guys it justifies not paying the game and supporting the devs?

There are claims everywhere (plebbit, "games journalism" sites, etc) that Denuvo doesn't affect performance of the game or restrict the purchasers other than stopping them from cracking it. Those same claims come from places that have a vested interest in telling people that.

DRM "solutions" have a monetary incentive to make sure people think their shit works and that the companies would lose money without it. Denuvo even makes claims that your sales will increase by 15% in the first month because the game "can't" be pirated.

But a game has to be several times better than just good to be enjoyable if it has shitty DRM.
Even if the DRM had no "noticeable" impact for 99% of people that 1% is now no longer going to buy any game with that or any in some cases, DRM. Multiply this over several times and you now might see why games sell less lately.
You've taken the initial people who might've bought it and taken it down to 20-25% of it's possible market for reasons such as but not limited to DRM that only fucks people that pay for it, (less relevant to this thread) horrid decisions regarding mechanics, DLC practices, localization in some cases and then expect people to still drop 60$+ preorder on games (often times even digital and don't have the overhead physical games have) that are most of the time nonrefundable. It's not bitching just about DRM. It's issues all over that the current vidya market. Publishers are incentivized to put out as much shit as they can then get the faggots to defend their shitty purchases for free.

Denuvo is shit but not a deal breaker considering it will be cracked later on.

Since I stopped paying for games I got so much shit to play (pirate every new release) it's insane, I also save so much fucking money. I'll never go back to buying new releases unless I have so much money I don't know what to do with it.
