The enemies are now bullet sponge if you play on normal, it's even worse on insanity. You can't give orders to your squad anymore and their AI is too dumb to shoot the enemy. The cover system works half of the time, just like the jetpack (if you want to get to a high ground there's a 50/50 chance that the character will miss the ledge by a pixel).
The multiplayer is worse than the one in ME3. It's funny that they cancelled the beta since it's riddled with bugs like the one that inverts the audio channels (so the stuff on the right side of the screen is heard from the left and vice versa).

It's an RPG, if the characters fail to convey emotions and create bonds with the player the game is a failure. As for gameplay, it's fucking trash. It's a sci-fi game, set in space, that gives you a spaceship, but you never engage in space battles with anyone. All planets are barren deserts colored a different color, combat is just a clunky, shitty TPS turd overshadowed by Gears of War in terms of nuance and complexity, the interface is a crime against humanity and skills like lockpicking and hacking are pointless since you can just recycle all the trash items into gel and use that to bypass them altogether.
