Speaking of YU-NO, the remake is actually really promising. Watched some playthrough videos and the soundtrack is spot-on. Sounds just like it would without the x68000 limitations. They even implemented the ADV style choices fairly well with the smooth UI just no point and click.

Yeah the new character art looks terrible, but the rest of the game looks pretty solid and close to the source from what I've seen.

It's funny because the story is actually pretty good and the artist has a lot of freedom because as long as the porn's there, it's all good. The author gets a budget and a medium to express some of his ideas, and weebs get their wank. It's a win-win and capitalism in action.

The only ones I know of were Dragon Knight 3, True Love, Harlem Blade, and a detective one. DK3 and Harlem have RPG elements but I remember they were really simplified.

There's a good end but you have to work for it. Kid's endings are less depressing than Takeshi's but that's not the true ending. Go his paths first and while things become confusing if you think about them, they should become obvious.
