He wants to create a modern socialist society where all unpleasant and/or simple jobs are executed by machines

I want STEMfags to leave

Why?

something something capitalism sell us rope

most modern leftists are lazy. their whole dream is more gibs. in the ubi threads you see them hope it would come in so they can play more vidya, instead of say… volunteer in an old folks home.
anyone with the spirit to go out and earn a buck is target of their ire.
they're spineless trash and deserve failure.

because I find learning about the world through history books and such to be more to my enjoyment and better for ideological equipment

they're cunts

'cause I was absolute garbage at math in high school and figured I should go into a field where I had a modicum of talent.

Too bad there were no jobs in that field after all.

Ever heard of accelerationism?

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Accelerationism

what does STEM have to do with the accelerationism meme

literally a meme

Read OP. Read the wikipedia article.

I'm fine with being a meme.
But rioting and LARPing as an hostile antagonist while hoping that will create social change isn't a meme?

doing nothing and hoping it will all fall apart any minute now for the 1000th time is a meme

Any progress on robotic technology in a capitalist society will only serve to increase exploration and inequality. So unless you're constructing automated walls to kill the bourgeoisie you're not doing much.

Why not both? Bringing social through both, political activism AND making socialism seem more legit due to advanced technology.

Shouting at each other won't help for sure.

The obscene superiority complex, mostly.

Henry Ford did it why couldn't Lenin?

...

Kill yourself faggot

yeah nah i'm okay thanks

vs

Yep, it's spineless trash.

Smoke some weed.

>he wants to create a modern socialist society where all unpleasant and/or simple jobs are executed eliminated by machines
Wherever possible we should be engineering things to require the minimum amount of maintenance (also done by machines).

k le gulag man

>>>/freedu/

smh

How?

I must admit I dislike my fellow students because of this superiority delusion they have, but even worse are the non-STEM students who have adopted all sorts of liberal views just because they think such are required to be a proper university student.

ISHYGDDT

zozzle

usually they sneer at people who don't study STEM subjects

I do study computer science, fagrade.

...

Dont see the irony in this? Aren't you supposed to be good with texts and shit?

At the moment, non-STEM faculties are decaying because they are being filled with cryptocapitalism in the form of SJWs and such, probably well meaning, but accidentally or secretly capitalist helping people demanding all sorts of safe spaces and other bullshit. This has not yet happened in all STEM faculties, which may be a reason for the phenomenon you are describing. People should go full MAGA and have science and research reclaim the terrain lost to feelings and greed, people should Make Academia Great Again. This would possibly make STEM students respect others more, or at least I would respect humanists and such a lot more if I would immediately know the person I'm talking to uses their own brains to think instead of following the non-sense politically correct dogma many non-STEM students I've encountered seem to follow. Sadly, those free of such thinking have always been either conservative or really rare.

I get sneered at by humanities students when I say i study cs.

Smug liberal cunts, most of em.

It actually has nothing to do with SJWs and everything with business management being applied to academia but keep blaming your favourite boogiemen I guess

Remember how with the steam revolution all unpleasant jobs went to the machines?
Electrical revolution? All unpleasant jobs went to the… no?
But then it happened, when we got Electrical revolution, part II: This time it's nuclear! Right?

wew here's your (you)

No. All the unpleasant jobs such as manual weaving and other power/repetitive tasks went to machines. The jobs then shifted to mental or mental-required labour, things that machines couldn't, things you need to think and see for. Now that we got more and more powerfull computer, AI, cheaper robotics, sensorts etc, we're going to start replacing those jobs with robots. Now tell me, what jobs have we got left?
