I got some very rough hacking layout started at least (ver 2, I deleted previous post, do not use that previous rough layout), considering how rough it is I didn't even really have to use the wip watermark, but I will keep that handy for future use. This is going to be messy but fuck it we'll run it live and you can do some editing and fine tuning on it if you wish. WE'LL RUN IT LIVE GODDAMIT!
I'll post it as 2 separate png, and a rough mockup.
-rough text and logo. Right now it's just the basic typeface combo (mostly sans for heading and main body text, with serif used for the "source" text), layout and rough size that has been hacked out. See if you can play with better specific selection of typeface.
-flat bg color as a rough guide, so you can fine tune the color bg into a much nicer looking gradation, similar to the huey bg and oc 4 gradation.

The italics for the headings is more subtle, how does it look using a bold version of the same typeface? Might have to play and compare to see which has more clarity while looking better. Overall it's looking on track, the bg gradation looks fairly close to identical to the huey one, but I should check that in side to side comparison instead of just from memory.

It's not like PRISM with the NSA, they don't listen to everything. The NSA records all non-encrypted internet traffic (and the encryption they can get around, like getting into email providers) and stores it while both automated tools and NSA employees/contractors can use it. Years ago they only stored it for 90 days or something except for the people they or their algorithms decide are important, but they've spent a ton of money on stuff like the Utah Data Center and presumably store it much longer now. But that's internet traffic and phonecalls and the like that they can get from tapping data cables. All the "use your phone as a bug" stuff requires actually hacking the individual device, and they can't do that to everyone because someone would notice and the exploit would be discovered/patched. 0-day exploits discovered by nation-states go unpatched longer than the ones discovered by criminals precisely because they keep them secret instead of trying to infect thousands for spambots.
Of course, for sufficiently important politicians they might be individually targeted. CIA bureaucracy probably isn't going to authorize that, but they lost control of their exploits so all sorts of individual agents or ex-government contractors or foreign governments or random hackers or whoever might have used them to gather blackmail material. That's one of the many reason deliberately not reporting exploits in software widely used by everyone is fucking stupid. But it's not the same as mass-surveillance.

The leaks don't say they're storing it on everyone, just that they have the exploits and don't report them. Actually think about it. Phones/TVs/etc. that are hacked and operating as bugs have to send that traffic home. Anyone monitoring network traffic closely enough would notice what's going on. And then they could turn the device off, copy the memory, disassemble the malware, figure out the original exploit, and do a talk at Defcon or something. The end result is the exploit either gets patched or starts being used by random criminals.
There are security researchers who do that sort of thing for a living. None of them knew about the CIA exploits because the CIA wasn't dumb enough to try hacking everyone. Meanwhile the NSA mass-surveillence doesn't have to hack individual devices, so they're free to monitor everyone.

Right now security researchers are actively talking about the Wikileaks dump, they'd be overjoyed to get their hands on an example of the actual malware involved. But they can't just do it by dumping the storage of their Samsung TV because the CIA isn't that stupid and didn't hack every device.
It's like wondering why the CIA only plants actual physical bugs on some people instead of forcing home construction companies to put microphones in every house. Most individual people don't look for bugs, so you can bug them and they won't notice. But some people look inside the walls for whatever reason, so if you put microphones in millions of homes enough people would notice that you can't kill every renovator to cover it up. On that I agree. How about this then. The game is supposed to be an action game where all characters are supposed to move fast and possibly survive at least one hit from a rocket launcher. A physically weak character wouldn't make sense in that case although from what little I have seen, they all wear sci-fi style power armor anyways. I am not getting a 'token strong female' vibe from Nyx but instead of a pretty generic female assassin in a sci-fi world. Granted blue hair could be equally for either 'token strong female' and for the 'sci-fi world' reason.
If it is going to be anything like other arena shooters then the amount of development on the characters isn't going to matter much. But if they really are trying to emulate Overwatch where characters have more developed personalities then they definitely need to do a better job than what has been shown in that trailer.

I know that feel. Used to be like that 2 years ago. Preferred it that way since I had to move back in with my parents and I didn't want to show it to them. Then they'd go away for a week-end or something and I'd get drunk and try to confront the problems by thinking about them. Once my aunt walked in on me sobbing my eyes out and chugging whisky out of the bottle. She was nice and supportive but I still felt humiliated. Once my parents forced me to go with them to the nearest town when they were shopping. I cried the whole hour on the way there then spent 4 hours at a cafe holding it back. They meant well but it was hell for me.
Live alone now so I'll usually manage to hold it back for 2-3 months then sob uncontrollably for an hour or so before managing to hold it back another 3 months. Don't know how I'll be able to handle a job like this. It would be so humiliating to start crying at work with strangers. People in my family has been talking to me about getting a new job. I just try to smile while holding back the tears and say that I'm working on it while trying to sound as positive as possible. Hate myself and have no idea how I'll manage to get my shit together again if I can't force myself to suck it up and try again.

Just went to look at a game I reviewed a long time back, in fact I posted it back during the hayday of GamerGate so that hopefully other people would help me in reporting the game since most of the positive reviews at that time came from people who were on the dev team or were friends with the devs.
Anyway, the reason I'm posting now is as you can see, the game is currently Mostly Positive with 15 reviews on the store page, but in the actual reviews you can see it's actually Mostly Negative. It looks like the dev managed to turn off people who activated keys for the game from the overall review score. Is this something we should contact Steam about? This game has already been accused of tracing sprites from WakuWaku7 and some other SNK games, could this be what would get it pulled?

This is standard policy for Steam now. Developers were giving out copies in exchange for good reviews and shit like that. Now only the reviews of people who bought the game count. Unfortunately Steam presumably can't tell the difference between people who got a code for free or who paid for it on a different website.
They don't do it for reviews they do it for card sales, a little known fact is devs get a cut off ever card sold on the market so they will throw keys out left and right because they know people will offload them to retards who spend thousands just to boost some virtual profile number. Valve will never stop this either because they do get a cut off every single card sold.

The only reason it involves "points" is because they have so many exceptions that it's easier to explain that way. If they were stricter and only allowed on-topic content instead of random crap like "Campus Activities +1" it would be simpler but a lot more restrictive.
