I played the open beta, learned the game as much as I could and even played with friends. There was at no point where I thought "damn this game is good I want to pay for it" and at the end of the beta me and all my friends basically said "yeah Im only playing it because you guys are playing it".

So yeah, I got 8 hours of time wasted on it and none of it was enjoyable enough to warrant a purchase.

I was in three of the betas and one of the technical tests and basically it's alright concepts dragged way down into the mud by everything around them being handled in possibly the worst ways possible.
Give it a few months to see if it miraculously pulls a Siege and gets polished into something good, I don't think it will though since there's just so much wrong with it and it doesn't really have any amazingly unique gimmick to keep people coming back, it's basically just Ubisoft's Anarchy Reigns.

Mechanically, its fairly solid. The combat actually takes skill and requires some time put in to actually be great at it.

Its Ubishit, but its good Ubishit, like Rainbow Six Seige. Buy it on sale at your own discression.

All I know is the game theory fucker got paid to make an advertisement for it, and was so historically inaccurate that about a half dozen relatively big youtubers made videos to explain how horribly wrong he was. Some of the big things were
1:Mixed up gauntlets and greaves
2:Claimed not only that no food grew in Viking land, but also that vikings would go into battle near naked and the best equipment the rich of them got was a seax. And they'd never wear armor because it'd rust when sailing
3: Knights are the slowest dudes ever, especially in chainmail. And they only wore chainmail on their torso apparently.
4: Made a big stink about no plate mail during the 1100s and how he was going to be historically accurate, then got the type of swords knights use wrong, the type of techniques samurai use wrong, on top of getting vikings wrong.
5: His video claimed the Samurai could just drop a horse with a single arrow and the knight would be fucked.
