The worst part is I can tell our relationship was just a little better when I was a NEET because we could just relax and spend all day together. But eventually I knew we couldn't keep living like that so I got a job and now we actually have a steady food supply and we don't need to be terrified of getting sick or needing a doctor. Our relationship is still wonderful but I miss sleeping until noon with her and playing Vista whenever I wanted.

If property taxes weren't subjected on my home then I can definitely NEET it up (I would just grow my own food and never use electricy or running water, thereby having no expenses at all). But since property taxes exist, I must work.

How does a boss talk you out of quitting? If he knows you want to quit, I would think he wouldn't want you working if you hate it. He'd want someone more eager to work.

Also, it's not like you are under a contract. You are legally allowed to leave at any time. (unless you are a singer or something under a record deal)
