I sold my 3DS when the library was so abysmally disappointing. I would have sold my Vita, but who the fuck is going to buy that brick? At least it is a portable FFT rig.
No one is making the games I want to play anymore, so I'm done with consoles. If/when the Switch somehow has an amazing Pilotwings game, an amazing F-zero game, and some kind of sims-ish game (SimCity classic, SimEarth, SimAnt, fucking whatever) then I'd consider it. If there was some kind of MMO-style pokemon RPG I'd consider it. But paid online? And I'm sure I'll have to re-buy the digital copies of games I already own from Nintendo's shitty e-shops of the past. Fuck me once, shame on you Nintendo. Letting myself get fucked generation after generation? …shit, even this Nintendo fanboy wakes up eventually. I miss the days Nintendo would take a chance on shit like Mario Paint.
What am I looking at now?

Nintendo Switch Games:
Launch (March 3):
1-2-Switch
Gimmicky mini games.
The Binding of Isaac: Afterbirth+
Old rehash IP.
Just Dance 2017
Fucking laughable.
The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild
Will buy on WiiU
Skylanders: Imaginators
Not even my kids want this.
Super Bomberman R
Promising, maybe.
March/Spring:
Arms (Spring 2017)
Could be fun (Punch-Out and Super Punch Out were good) but it looks like motion control gimmicky crap. At least we get Rule34 out of it.
Has-Been Heroes (March 2017)
Already on Steam and FFS I've played Golden Axe before.
I Am Setsuna (March 2017)
ALREADY ON FUCKING STEAM, although this Chrono Trigger homage looks decent.
Mario Kart 8 Deluxe (April 28)
I already own Mario Kart 8 and if Nintendo thinks I'm re-buying any goddamn DLC at this point, they are out of their fucking minds.
Puyo Puyo Tetris (Spring 2017)
Not a fan of Puyo Puyo or Tetris, but I am glad to see at least something in the puzzle game genre on here. Where is my 3D picross sequel, Nintenjew? And Dr Luigi was bullshit, how about a real deal reboot/remake of Dr Mario?
Snipperclips, Cut It Out Together (March 2017)
Physics/logic based, multiplayer puzzle game…holy shit this actually has potential. Not worth the price of admission, but this one is actually interesting and doesn't look like I've played it before and isn't' already on Steam.
Summer:
Rime
ICO looking, but ALREADY ON FUCKING STEAM.
Splatoon 2
The first one was meh (FPS on a console? Seriously? Fuck you Golden Eye and Halo for making this goddamn timeline possible) so I'm hardly interested in a sequel.
Beyond/TBD:
Disgaea 5 Complete (TBD)
I've never been a fan of Disgaea, as much as I love tactical games. I'd rather see an HD remake of FFT, personally.
Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 (2017)
Shitty fighting game ALREADY ON STEAM
FIFA (2017)
LOL fuck soccer games.
Fire Emblem Warriors (TBD)
Boring.
Minecraft (2017)
ALREADY ON PC
Minecraft: Story Mode (TBD)
ALREADY ON PC
Rayman Legends (TBD)
Was on the fucking PS3 LAST GENERATION FFS
NBA 2K (2017)
FUCK NO
New Shin Megami Tensei (TBD)
Promising.
Skylanders Imaginators (TBD)
Boring.
Skyrim (Fall 2017)
Laughable. If this isn't the HD remake, even more fucking laughable. Have I mentioned Steam yet?
Sonic Mania (2017)
Potential.
Steep (2017)
ALREADY ON FUCKING STEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAM
Super Mario Odyssey (Holiday 2017)
This one could be interesting…I was a fan of Sonic Adventure 1 & 2 back on the DC, so this could be fun. Hardly worth an entire system, though.
Syberia 3 (TBD)
Boring looking STEAM GAME.
Ultra Street Fighter II (2017)
Boring.
Xenoblade Chronicles 2 (2017)
Fuck this series in the ass, boring ass stupid typical unimaginative JRPG garbage.
TL;DR
Get a laptop and steam, play most of the Switch's titles today! The only things with any promise at this point are Super Mario Odyssey, Sonic Mania, New Shin Megami Tensei, Snipperclips, and Arms and none of those stand out as worth picking up the system day one. I got burned picking up a Vita before I knew it had games I wanted, I'm not making that mistake again. I'd rather plunk $300 on a new video card.
