Yes, as a big Sci-Fi and 4X nut I was pleasantly surprised with the general graphics direction of Stars in Shadow.
It's all hand drawn stuff with great attention to detail in everything.
The game is also a very faithful tribute to MoO and looks like it will age well due to the art approach. It comes out of early access tomorrow iirc and it's one of the handful of games I actually enjoyed in its early access stage.
