If people don't feel like sitting through it all, Soldier, Scout and Demoman still go through the Adventure Time tier humor, Miss Pauling is forcing herself into MC role worse than Rohan Kishibe and the zigzaggin' of mood is way too easy to see coming from one panel to the other.

The entire comic, down to the fucking covers, is a ripoff of something else. And they even have the gall of claiming it's "just references lol"

So, with seemingly almost all the big villains ded, and almost everything resolved, it's time to finally point out the elephant in the room:

What the fuck has the administrator been trying to work up and set up towards all this time, to need to use the city of the idiots to get it all done?

Its probably a big update reveal, which would be a miracle and would explain why VALVe doesnt care. But thats just me hoping.

Maybe it'll be just one final grand finale update. Valve's tired of working on the game, and most people have declared the game dead or started playing Overwatch instead.

Pretty much, I miss original TF2's humor. I repeat this every "what killed TF2" thread, but I can't get over the plugs running the entire intel room and getting into two separate sockets for no reason and never getting addressed.

Probably a new map and a final game mode. Final in the sense that they'll just release periodic cosmetic updates rather than work on the game at all.

I really cannot find the difference in humor or I am a really apathetic person.

Remember when the Soldier couldn't tell fantasy from reality, except his reality was abiding to given rules? I fucking hate that now he's right when he blurbs non-sequiturs. It kills the mood.

Thats the only difference I find, instead of Soldier being LULSORANDUM, he was just unhinged off reality. The WAR comic was a good one.

Man, I miss tf2. I have over 1000 hours, but the CS:GOYIM update with weapon skins and picking up weapons, and the constant heavy nerfs for no reason made me finally drop it. I wish we had a tf2c server that wasn't run by autists.

To be honest, Heavy is a pretty shit class when your teammates suck. Soldier needs a nerf and so do the sticky bomb launchers except the Quickie.

Every class is viable, the problem is that, for one thing, people assume you can be a one man army all the time when there's a time for killing and a place for positioning and doing your class' job, for the other the balance relies on buffs, nerfs and sidegrades instead of the main class' role being taken into account.

I wish the game had added more classes, would be interesting. But I am already having problems remembering how to play each class.

I practice with a class a lot, I get around it and become bretty gud with it, but then I forget how to play another one, learn that one, and rinse and repeat. I have a phobia of playing Soldier because I suck at 1v1ing other Soldiers because of my autism with pulling out shotgun when outta rocket ammo. And I hate playing Engie since I have to choose between Jag, Stock, and Gunslinger.

I liked the two Heavies fighting each other and Scout dying in Tom Jones'/Spy's arms but there were a lot of glaring problems between this and the other issues, I guess that's what happens when it takes 3 years to finish a 6-part comic series

The Southern Hospitality is usually considered the best pick. 20% weakness to fire, bleed for 5 seconds on hit. You don't encounter that many pyros if you play defensively, so it's basically stock but with the bonus of being able to track cloaked spies with the bleed.

Gunslinger can be good with the Frontier Justice for saving up crits, but it's only effective if you can avoid dying and are good with the shotgun.

I am good with the shotgun, but I dislike pairing the FJ + Gunslinger, seems like a big crutch. Just the FJ alone makes me loathe myself.

Southern Hospitality is good, but I dont have it and its not the problem in question. I am torn whether its better to use the stock, which is an amazing wrench, or the jag, which while is good for playing offense and setting things up quickly, is shit at getting rid of sappers, and a reason why I never played Engie for quite a while

It's a pretty big if though. The TFC team are older than the TF team, but probably only by about 10 years. Most of the TF team are probably in their early to mid 40s.
The TFC team is still combat ready, but only just, so I'd put them in their middle to late 50s or maybe 60s.
Dell would probably be on the older end of the spectrum, so for the TFC engie to be his dad he'd need to be at least in his late 60s, if not 70s.

However, the fact so many updates were delayed and the comic took so much time says there might be a pretty huge update.

The only ones I am sure that are on their fourties are Heavy and Soldier.

Dell supposedly has four(?) PhDs, which take roughly 8 years each to earn. Even assuming he could do two at a time that's 19 years in university. Assuming he started at 20 that makes him 39 before he graduates.

Its fun but utterly ineffective. Its very campy, and against a skilled team, the chokepoints switch so much its useless

The Huo Long Heater is a similar gun. It might be good for getting rid of Scouts and Spies, but it sucks as anything else. On the other hand, the Eviction Notice is never used but an amazing melee if you use it well.

I guess you're right, thinking about it people would only fall for a premature det trap only so many times. Wish that it had a bit less of a delay on arming. Or that it was at least instant on self damage.

Demoman is the only class which probably has only good stock item, and its the sticky launcher, the Grenade Launcher theorically two shots Soldiers, but since its so inaccurate, relying on the 4 hit kill sticky launcher is better. Its also why the Loch N Load is so used.

Iron Bomber is pretty good, it's got a longer fuse(?) but it doesn't roll making for good use on jumping or holding areas when sticks aren't available.

I used to swear by the Killing Gloves of Boxing for the chain crits it gives in pubs, but lately I've been using the tickle mitts since it can stun ubers.
But what makes the Eviction Notice good?

Slight speed boost, less than the Gloves of Running Urgently but still pretty good. You get a speed boost on hit, and much faster hit speed. So basically you can melee someone extremely fast and keep up the speed boost.

Vid related is a guy using it pretty effectively in a pub (which doesn't say much, but you can see how it could be useful)

The speed boost is nice but at that close range you can just blow them away with the minigun.

They changed it completely from its original inception, now it makes 25 metal teleporters and lets you teleport freely but it gives you less metal from drops, it's really great to sneak in pubs and for quick setups, not much else to it.

Go to a X10 server and equip it, more often than not people will emulate you or go Stock Knife Spy and see the maddening number of punches thrown to kills achieved ratio go sky high.

I use Jag near-exclusively, I don't notice it being any worse at removing sappers. It takes an extra swing but the extra swing speed means you get it off in about the same amount of time.
