ITT: I'm an autistic mongloid and can't figure things out on my own so I throw a fit and quit.

Trips? AAA

I'm glad I'm not you user.

I found Seath harder than Nito.

>not staying near the entrance and fighting Neto there

...

I love the meme souls is hard meme

Nito and Four Kings can be cheesed with Havel's Set or anything else with High Poise. I found Four Kings to be the most annoying fight in the game, having to use the Abyss ring can mess with your build, and it's basically a DPS race, because if you don't kill them fast enough more than 4 of them can spawn.

...

I remember temporarily ragequitting chips challenge because of the "On the rocks" level, but I beat it after, don't remember where I left it.

Yeah, it's not fun. I was stuck on Nito for a month before I finally gave up. I play games to have fun user. Maybe I'm just not autistic enough to enjoy ramming my head into a wall repeatedly until it finally collapses.

I didn't quit per se. I just kept thinking I was doing something wrong because I'd fight him for so long and nothing would happen. So I spent a long time just searching every nook and cranny of the available world I could, seeing if there was a mechanic I just didn't notice. I even remember just restarting the game a few times and restarting when I got to him (I was really young when I played this game).

It was a long time tell I decided to just pummel him over and over to see what happens.

If you have never played this game, bosses have this thing where the visible life bar, once it is taken down, the boss goes into a sort of "extra" mode, like a rageout or "last stand". It doesn't display the healthbar after this. Up until this point, they generally had very little left, and the extra mode had far less hp than the regular lifebar. Gremlin ended up having a secret health bar that was several times larger than his visible healthbar. So you would think you were near the end when you were actually just starting the fight (and the regular healthbar was not much longer than the last boss you fought, so you didn't suspect anything).

ROR!

You're not autistic, but you couldn't beat a boss for a month?

I think it happened in a random wad a while ago. I would have had to start the game from the beginning while preserving my ammo because I didn't have any left and didn't want to punch a demon for half an hour.
I'll come back to it once I've completely forgotten the map and feel like discovering it again.

Severe depression. I can't bother to play a game for more than a couple hours before I just stop playing, and then I cannot work up the motivation to play it again, whether it's a (rare) good, new game, or an older game from the era where good was expected, and amazing was demanded. I quit playing Xenoverse 2, Shantae: Half Genie Hero, Way of the Samurai, Yakuza, Dragon's Crown, Dragons Dogma, Dark Souls, and a bunch of other games I recognize as very good, but I just can't put forth the effort to play them anymore.

If you're young, learn a useful trade, like mechanical engineering, electrical (NOT ELECTRONIC) engineering, plumbing, carpentry, or more amalgamated skills like car repair. Things you will ALWAYS be needed for, that cannot be farmed out to H1B slaves laboring for pennies under (((consultant))) groups that take the lion's share of their slaves' wages, ever threatening them with being shipped back to Designated Shitting St.

Nigger Nito's a pushover, even moreso if you've got a fire weapon on you. Can't go wrong with +3 or +4 fire Zweihander, especially since Nito's slow enough and telegraphs everything heavily enough that an ultra greatsword is a viable option. Like any big boss, just stay behind him, maybe a two-handed jumping attack.

I only thought Seath was hard because of his Curse bullshit. Friggin' hate instakill status effects no matter the game.

Filtered for low energy.

None because I NEVER GIVE UP
Unless you count GTA Online
Fucking no skill ramming faggots in races

I accept your defeat

Ramming is a viable race trick faggot.

Some of the wisest shit I've read.

That .wad looks cool. Got a link to it?

He's fucking easy:
Don't aggro the 2 Giant Skeletons in the back of the room
Kill small skeletons with divine weapon so they don't get up
Listen for his scream so you can dodge the AoE
Wait till he strikes the ground with his super slow swing, then attack

Oh, those skellies are arguably the bigger thread since everything Nito can dish out is easily dodged. If you don't have a Divine weapon you can pick up that Astora Straight Sword next to the zombie dragon in Valley of the Drakes, it counts as a divine weapon if you meet the faith requirement. Which you probably should since Heal and Homeward are the two spells I got the most use out of in the entire game, being estus and Homeward Bone replacements and all.

There's also that fog ring/slumbering dragoncrest ring so skellies can't detect you, and at that point as long as you don't waltz right up to them the only thing you've got to worry about is Nito.

Closest thing for me would be pic related, second boss from The Wonderful 101. Took a long break from the game because I couldn't figure out how to beat him without the tower being destroyed first and I'm too autistically adamant about getting good scores in these types of games to use continues after dying. Very glad I went back to the game and finished it though, enjoyed it a lot.

Casual

Engineering is fucked now as well, there's a definite bubble there that's going to pop by the end of the decade if not earlier due to a mixture of record levels of graduating engineers mixed with lack of engineers retiring/dying so you've either got a ton of young new engineers trying to get positions while at the same time very little experienced engineers are going for experienced positions and companies don't want to train new engineers. If the same thing that happened to videogames and cartoons and comics happens to engineering, we're all doomed.

...

You're fucking autistic if you can't beat Nito on your firs try, let alone continue retrying for a month and only THEN quit.

That should be it.
moddb.com/mods/half-life-zdoom

I bitched nonstop about these in the spellforce 3 thread, but these 2 motherfuckers. I mean I beat the game, but I couldn't even stomach the expansions after this. The game just gave me a headache afterwards.

The rift

Then after all this shit
AFTER ALL THIS SHIT
You have to fight a fucking boss. Now the boss is easy IF YOU HAVE YOUR ARMY, except the first time I got through I used my army to distract the mini-boss right outside his ring, so I had no army and had to redo the whole thing with at least 20 fighters by the end.

THEN THERES THE JOURNEY BACK
You can actually cheat this part and re-enter the level, but I wanted to do it legit

Breathing forest

Both these levels have 2 things in common. The game gives you vastly superior enemies because they don't want you to play the game like an RTS. It's RPG time where you use your army to just to barely get your quest done instead of raiding the enemy base. The fact that it does this by giving the AI a huge advantage, giving the AI infinite resources, giving the AI faster spawns with no burnout, and giving them multiple camps raiding you at the same time makes these levels frustrating and completely unfun. I can't even stand the sight of it anymore after these 2 abominations.

This user is right
STEM is all sorts of fucked right now and probably will be for another decade or so, there's something like 2 engineers graduating every year for every engineering position that opens up, and that's not even considering H1B workers

You know, scenarios like this in games make me wonder if the devs forgot their own game when making decisions like this.

t. guy who finishes dead last in a no contact race

you though this nigga was hard?

lol I first tried him, faggot

I don't even know. These 2 levels play out NOTHING like the rest of the game. Now, every level in spell force usually gimps something against you, but the race you're playing as has strengths to make up for it. It just requires a change of strategy or playstyle, but you're still playing an RTS. These levels are totally different.

This happened more times than I can remember.

this tbh oniifam
lol who even dies in dark souls lol its so easy i never died once the first time i played

Nito died like a bitch. These fuckers though…

...

Those guys go down like bitches too, just stick close to 'em. They're really only long range fighters, if you stick close to a king then they have almost no way of actually harming you. You can kill the first one easy, then as the rest appear you can trundle over and kill 'em.

They completely counter anyone who went a dodge-stamina build. Literally the only way I could beat his fight is by slapping on full havels, man-moding him and hoping I got lucky.

Kek, fucking pussy. Not even the worst boss the in the game.
Four kings

I don't know friend, with an endurance regen item and high DPS you should be able to dodge and kill them one at a time
unless the AI decides to spam their grab attack

What was hard about Nito?
I killed him on my first attempt on my first playthrough of the game.
Might have gotten lucky or something because I haven't gone back and played NG+ after I beat the game.

Only boss I had trouble with was Ornstein and Smough and it took me literal days to kill them.

The only game I gave up on was the Witcher 2 (skipped the first game).
For some reason the combat didn't click with me at all. Couldn't get a grasp of it.
I got stuck in this goblin cave and repeatedly got my shit kicked in for a couple hours until I uninstalled the game.

it's funny because every Tone main (70% of the Titan's you see) claim he's not broken in any way, some even say he's fucking "weak."

Did they ever end up nerfing him or is he still broken as shit?

I remember they had a huge aoe blast that made it difficult and they grouped up on you, which made me just go havels mode even though I was dex stamina.

Seath was a bitch but Nito was fucking annoying with those spears that popped up from the ground all the time.

It wasn't necessarily the fight itself, but I'd finally hit my breaking point from accumulated frustration with the game's admittedly pretty neat mechanics. Plus, I really just wanted to get onto KH2 anyway, so I didn't have much problem dropping it.

Nito is probably one of the three easiest bosses in the game, how the fuck did he kill you?

Solaire helps tremendously with them, barring phantoms helping out. He can solo one of the two entirely on his own if you let 'im, I actually had to hurry up with Smough because Solaire was pushing Ornstein's shit in and I wanted his armor and spear more than I did fat-fuck Smough's stuff the first time I played the game.

He's a bitch and a half in his KH2 Final Mix fight too.

I eventually got through it, but I had a bit of trouble with the second round of DANCE WATER DANCE

What makes Tone OP?

this whole game

To add onto those I think its best to train in any job that can't be easily replaced by a robot. Over the next couple decades bots will absolutely become the new chinks. Transportation and logistics are fucked, any non high level programming job is fucked, doctors are fucked (Watson's medical diagnoses), lawyers are fucked (not in the courtroom but analyzing documents for inconsistencies), retail is fucked (Amazon GO and Briggo). If shit like Baxter continues to improve then even jobs like plumbing will be threatened so I'd recommend something that requires a human, not just human work. I feel like the need for therapists will continue to rise as more people become speshul snowflakes that need their feefees personally attended to, though obviously that job would be suicide-inducing. Entertainment might not be threatened but it'll be the go-to industry for generation Z and beyond (and it will continue to shift away from traditional media to stuff like Youtube). Prostitutes won't be going anywhere but that job sucks. Education might have a lot of automation involved in it but I think teachers will still be necessary, especially for pre-school and elementary school.

That said I think something like basic income or the living wage is probably inevitable because there is no way the majority of people will be employable within 50 years, so learning something that will be replaced by automation in the meantime probably won't be a terrible idea just choose something that is the hardest to replace.

Lol you spent a month on a retardedly easy boss? Damn it feels good to actually have some form of problem solving skills.

I never give up.
But fighting Orphan of Kos probably gave me the most deaths in any souls game. Sucking guy got me at least 20 times more than any of the other bosses combined.
Leading into Chalice dungeons now though so that may all change.

Bloodborne is becoming my favorite Souls game.

it aint that bad, it is exhausting but i think its the kind of dread the game imposes on you. whenever my team gets their resolve tested in a negative way i feel the dread they do. but whenever they get their resolve tested and come out on top i feel like taking on the whole game. too bad there are very few of those moments.

...

Which is why all these countries importing 3rd worlders to "shore up the workforce" is so fucking retarded and is clearly not why they're actually being allowed in

thanks, capitalism

one of the most absolutely irritating fights I've ever done in any game. Not particularly difficult, just really fucking annoying

meant to reply to

How the hell did you find him hard?

Ah yes that fucking arbitrary timer that kills you for no discernible reason. I fucking hated that timer, at least there wasn't a mandatory cutscene every time it ran out.

Did you try pressing triangle

His skellingtons and sword dance kept fucking me up but around the third or fourth try I learned his patterns and kited the skellys. Hit and run tactics are pretty viable as he's slow as shit and you can be kiting skellys too if you don't have a divine weapon.
These niggas were so hyped up that I took the fight real nice and careful. I got them on my first try but if I didn't know about all the potential anal rape beforehand I probably would have gotten my ass beat hard.
This nigga was a tough fight at first. He was just way too fast and his jump attack kept getting me until I learned not to panic roll immediately.
Another tough boss. He's fast and aggressive and you have to time your heals and buffs just right.
Everything that needs to be said has been said long ago

Honestly OP there's a bunch of legitimately hard bosses in Dark Souls but you pick grandpappy Neat-o? Bed of Chaos is a legitimately aggravating fight. Capra Demon is just plain bullshit to a new player until you figure it out. Even the level of Tomb of the Giants is far more annoying than Molasses Man.

>B-BUT NOT SKILL TRADES which were the first things to ever be automated

Everything's fucked, user. You would be right but not in this lifetime

Bed of Chaos is just plain horseshit, probably the biggest red flag that DS was pumped out unfinished/rushed if you ask me.

If you have tradeskills either shoehorn yourself into artisan/highclass work any way you can or learn how to into art and make furniture

Yeah it feels like there were some cool ideas in there but it felt like there was a real lack of polish post Lord Vessel
A huge library/laboratory filled with crystal abominations and a cavern of illusionary walkways and making any progress is really tense, but the path you have to go on takes ten seconds to cross and is a straight line.
A city full of demons! And by "full of demons" we mean 15 easily baited taurus demons thrown at a wall, some capra demons and a boss reskin.
Arguably the most finished out of all said areas, if only because it's accessible right out of Firelink.
Beneath the catacombs of the church is a dark secret. Is the secret fun? No.

Forgot to mention the terrible variety of enemies in these areas too. Seathe likes his crystal hollows. Demon ruins has those turd things that spit fire. New Londo has GHOSTS GHOSTS GHOSTS and then Dickwraiths. TotG is skeletons and skeledogs.

they were only difficult if it was your first time playing Souls and spent your points unwisely trying to be a jack of all trades, so you ended with a character that didn't stand out in any form of damage or defense

Hello darkness, my old friend.

Come to think of it yeah, about the time you get the Lordvessel is where the game seems to get kinda lazy. Fewer thought-provoking bosses and enemies and more things that just constantly shit damage and stunlock like skeledogs, or minibosses from earlier like the demons you mention being the normal enemies for the area.

Definitely was my problem with my first playthrough of the game, though there's oddities that try to push you towards it like Greatsword of Artorias having a 20 Faith/INT requirement for a sword that has no magic abilities. Usually I just end up dumping everything into STR/DEX/END/VIT after making sure I've got enough Faith for Homeward, Heal and the Astora's Straight Sword. Do Solaire assistances count towards the lowering of the Sunlight Warriors covenant requirements? I've always wondered that, no-sunbro assistance you need 25 Faith to get in yourself but apparently if you successfully beat a boss with a sunbro the requirement is lowered by 5, and Solaire gives all benefits of beating things with a sunbro otherwise.

I got him down to about 20% health 5 separate times, but never got him. I may eventually come back and try him again, but I don't feel like I'd be beating him for any other reason than just to beat him. No real interest in the story anymore, it's been way too long.

The anglerfish in Psychonauts

Nigga you don't even know.

Fighting Fact in 4:3 is way easier than 16:9. You need to change aspect ration when playing. It's lol stuff.

The unfortunate side effect of Treasure's design philosophy of let's-just-throw-every-idea-at-the-wall-and-use-what-sticks is that sometimes they come up with really fucking bad ideas that stay in games.

When did I say this? Therapy isn't a skilled trade, prostitution isn't a skilled trade, and I wouldn't really count education or entertainment as such either.

I said that plumbing and the like could certainly be replaced if robots like Baxter continue to be improved.

...

that one mini game where you had deliver mail to all the mailboxes always pissed me off. I somehow missed a house every single time. fuck that shit and fuck the postal service.

the rift was a problem? lol. Hard part is to get to the other side. After that fuck troll portal, just die teleport to previous level, come to the rift throught the gate. The NPC you are supposed to escort is immortal and wil slowly make it throught the demon horde

Never completed level 2

Nigger, how can you get so far and still be so shit?

I was really enjoying FFXIII-2 way more than its predecessor, right up until the final boss triple dragon thing that is just full of shit. Fuck that thing forever.

Pretty sure that to lower the faith requirement for the covenant you need to help other players beat a boss, regardless of any "sunbro" involvement.
I just started a cleric knight yesterday, got my faith up to 15 and did two boses on coop and bam, I got into the covenant. Now all I need is the balder side sword and I can get the hell out of the undead parish.

something like the number one "I want to be when I grow up" is youtube e-celeb

Fuck level (3 or 4 i cant remember) of castlevania chronicles. So they start you out infront of a bone dragon, then you have to climb stairs while avoiding medusa heads. If you manage to do that you then have to climb a set of stairs onto a platform that has one of those bone dragon head stacks that shoots fireballs you can duck under on the fucking other side of it WITH 2 zombies walking around on it AND there are medusa heads you have to dodge. You cant hit the skulls and THEY GIVE YOU NO SUB WEAPON. Its fucking bullshit. Ive never seen a level so poorly designed.

Jet Force Gemini - Save all the Tribals
Wind Waker - Triforce hunt

I'm not doing that shit.

How do I enjoy Dark Souls 2? Is it light-roll mandatory? Shield + sword? I've tried so many times to enjoy the game, but the furthest I got was with the drilling spear, but it was so slow to swing.

That thing is a fucking pain and a hideous slog. Best way I found is having a team of 3 sentinels that you swap to whenever it looks like it might attack, then go back to rav/rav/com until you stagger it, rav/rav/rav to build up its combo when it's staggered, then com/com/com when the combo's high enough. The other two should be some variant of rapid heal and heal with buffs.

The "fun" of Dark Souls is accomplishment. Pretty much the whole game is a cakewalk after you've beaten it once.

I've honestly considered just watching the final cutscenes on youtube or something and then moving on to the third game it was that frustrating.
I'll try your advice first user but bloody hell, this thing is worse than every boss in the game and comes out of nowhere.

Yeah I noted that

Lose means to not win, loose is what your mom is.

...

I need to go back and check that because I thought it was just a soul item and some armor… also that mini-boss was pretty easy just throwing firebombs from the ledge right in front of his face

Really? I've been 3x kindling certain bonfires for the 20 +2 estus flasks, and duping my bones. I thought this was the preferred way…

Persona bosses in general. Only because of the "main character dead=game over" mechanic.

...

I didn't quit the game for good, I just had to turn down the difficulty for arcade mode because of this fucker.

Tone just has far too many good tools slapped onto one titan. She's not unstoppable by any means; Ronin can be pretty good against her up close and has the only defensive item that can survive a Salvo Core, for instance, and Northstar's charged up sniper destroys Tone's shield in one shot while being able to compete with him at long range, but Tone is still a head above the other 5 titans and is so easy to play that she's boring.

After a hundred hours of playing it I didn't know about the sprint ability in Broforce so the deathfield was fucking annoying. Also, every time I kill the final boss the game crashes so I've never seen the ending despite killing him like 6 times now, it sucks.

Yesterday I got to Nito in DS and I beat him in 2 attempts. It's not fuckin hard, kill the skeletons with a divine wep then just go for burst damage in between nito's "AAAAAAAAAAAAAA" blast.

This guy was multiple steps up from the first boss, who was very simple.
The most difficult thing for me was the platform who he kept destroying and I first thought you were under a time-limit to defeat him instead of fixing the platform with a unite-line.
The other thing that surprised me were his huge arsenal of attacks he had and using specific counters with the character-prompt that confused me because I saw them for the first time.
Took me a while as well to defeat him with a respectable score.
A lot of bosses in W101 are like that, but this one took the longest to figure out, but for me that was part of the fun.

They weren't automated, division of labour was implemented because it destroys worker's bargaining power and is more efficient, a bunch of factory workers are replaceable, a single skilled tradesman is more difficult to replace.

Halo 2 run was good, followed by retarded ads for retarded companies.

And I'm a retard who posted in the wrong tab, gg me.

Halo is shit and so are stream whores, kill yourself.

Same fucking thing happened to me as a kid. The game really takes off after that fight too. So many years wasted unfinished.

time in forever*

Zombie dragon items are the Dragon Crest Shield (decent medium shield with high fire defense) and Astora's Straight Sword, Longsword with some thrust attacks, good power and is basically a freebie Divine weapon. Great for cleric builds due to faith scaling and being a versatile sword.

Having as many estus charges available + back-up homeward bones is always a good idea but I prefer having Heal if my stupid ass is running out of estus a lot or there isn't a bonfire nearby or having Homeward in case I don't want to buy bones or I'm farming stuff.

One of the Avatar games for the GBA had some segment where you had to run through and swap characters, using their abilities and aiming just right, then proceed
It was long as fuck and was made like a maze with dead ends, as a kid I said fuck this shit and never went back

I still don't understand how a hardened criminal can become traumatized or have a heart attack from having bloody wine splashed on him alot
After a while you're already soaked, no point in being mindbroken from something so simple and small, especially for a mercenary who apparently has already been killing people a while and is a grownass man

Probably the Castlevania 64 true final bosses, especially Cornell's one in LoD. It's terrible you pretty much need to abuse health items.

Triforce hunt isn't a boss. It's terrible though.

...

There's really less excuse for Nito than four Kings or other bosses, as long as you can kill the skeletons before they overwhelm you, it's really JUST a gear check.

I don't recall that ever happening, were you using some weird source port?

i'm shocked nobody's posted this yet. this cocksucker ruined me for almost a goddamn week

The AoE blast has a long chargeup time. I never had to slap on havels to do it.
Then again, I never fought them on ng+, so I'm just talking shit.

I stopped playing Soul Hackers at what was the end of disc one boss.

Problem is that I did all the stuff I could do on disc-one so there was nowhere to actually gain the last bit of power I needed to beat her without a fuck ton of grinding.

The Catacombs/Tomb of the Giants were the best areas in the game, and Gravelord Nito was fine. I'm a casual and I beat him first try. On the other hand, Bed of Chaos can get fucked.

I don't know if I'd call the boost guardian hard, but it was definitely the hardest boss in any Prime game. By far the most irritating and aggravating shit fucking ever. The only thing you really had to do was make sure you timed your bomb drops right and collected your health, and un-morph to spam your jump in order to avoid his boost ricochet shots.

The only real reason he was more difficult than any other Prime boss was because of how much fucking damage his hits did, at a point in the game when (unless you knew where to go and what to do) you would generally have only a few energy tanks.

i found that it was just plain luck if you beat him. that bastard moved so fast, did so much damage and moved so randomly that it was basically just a damage race

This is actually why I had a really hard time getting into dark souls. For whatever reason, I was dead set on starting in the catacombs rather than going through the burg and refused to reconsider.

Boost Guardian is just a casual filter.Emperor Ing is fucking satan.

these guys

for an extended period of time at least.

It's annoying, like the spider guardian, fuck that boss. It didn't make me quit or even killed me, but fuuuuuuck I hate morph ball puzzles in this game, especially if they require you to balance or stop in an specific spot and the spider guardian is based entirely around those.

I always misjudged at least one of the positions and hit the ground floor near death. Never lasted long enough to even figure out phase two's mechanics, and it was so irritating getting to it that I eventually quit. Googling it just now clued me in that you can cheese it with the right set of card unlocks, but fuck needing to 100% an achievement system to progress.

You have to be fucking joking.

...

I beat both Nito and these guys first try. I just walked up to them and hit them until they died, wasn't too difficult. They did shit damage against me.

I didn't fight the smelter demon until the very end game.

Fucking awful boss

Kek

I was really pissed when I killed 4 of them and a 5th one showed up.

four kings is trivialized with Artorias greatshield tbh fam

Maybe Souls games just aren't that good

...

...

...

Have you played one? Souls games have a depth of mechanics, a freedom of build and satisfaction for overcoming a challenge.
Other than shit like where bosses rely on poor mechanics or instant death pits, the games are generally very fair and rely on the players ability to adapt to a situation. Typically each encounter can have several approaches; luring it out, sniping from afar, bullrushing, changing weight, changing poise etc etc, and if all that fails, you can call your m8's.

I remember this asshole, I was so extremely frustrated as a kid because I just couldn't figure out how to fight him and I was pissed off before that because I wanted seasons and not Oracles.

I eventually figured it out but I hated it the whole way through

To stay on topic, I quit the game as a kid when I first fought these fucks, when I got older I came back and just drilled through the game in a few days, these guys were still very tough first few times though

You meant to say a wealth of mechanics, or that their mechanics have a lot of depth, both of which are very untrue; the depth of the mechanics ends right where you see, maybe going a little bit further in, but it's really just a numbers game, and you can see all the numbers.
The number of mechanics there are is also very small; you have magic, which all casts in a straight line besides pyromancy, which acts like a thrown item, fucking special snowflake; there's swords that all have two attacks and can be two handed in a fashion that no medieval fencer would two hand a sword; all the shields block and most of them parry, greatshields have best moveset, because they smash in either hand, all other shields need to be in the right hand to attack; There's a kick that will always come out when you don't want it to, and a jumping attack that is OP when you play with a KB because you can tap it out and it's faster than the heavy attack while being stronger than it by a few digits.
There's not much you can go into as far as that goes really, you pick what you want to do, you raise your stats, which raises your numbers, which lets you put more numbers out on an enemy to kill them. The armors are all for show basically and don't do much for you no matter what, except the havel set but that's some shit taste for fashion, so you just pick what you like and hope you don't fat roll. The freedom of build is fucked later on by a great deal.
Archives will shit on you if you don't have ranged options, Seath will fuck you up if you have low curse resist because of the DPS race that ensues, sif will dance around you if you can't roll to keep up with him, so fuck you if you don't have the stamina faggot, Tom and Jerry will dick you if you don't have their weaknesses on hand, fatroll is straight up not viable ever again, unless you're a havel cheeser, and it's not impossible, but not using a shield, and instead using a magic thing in your left hand gives you a much harder time, even if you pick them off from far away, since everything can get in close real fast. That's what the sword's for, but if you're leveling your sword, you could just go sword and board, and if you're leveling your magic numbers, you could just go magic with a shield.
These are just a few things that pile up through the game, which is really geared towards being guts; you need a big sword, a cross bow, knives, pyromancy for the canon, and the black knight set. You don't get a lot of options because the game lets you play however you want, you are meant to play all over the place and be versatile at everything, and I don't want to do that, so I will let the game be slightly more difficult by just adapting the single style through the game, but you need to realize that the customization is because the game wants you to be an everything man.
TL;DR Dark souls wants one playstyle out of the player and that's it, that's why it seems difficult to people who don't play that one specific playstyle.

No I just like antagonizing Souls fanboys. Its like punting those trailer park ducks.

Yes

I replayed that mission every day for over a week until I beat him.

And why do so many on this board cry "SAMEFAG SAMEFAG"???

Samefagging (sockpuppet) is when someone responds to themselves, imitating another person and building fake consensus.

And you beat them on the first try? Right…..

I forgot.

Its quiet in here because its a school day

I remember I had a friend who poised his way through the game and got absolutely shit fucked at that part. I guess if you're slow as shit with low stamina that parts hard. Although, I also started the game when he beat blighttown and passed him up around that part.

ITT

No if youre nimbly bimbly you can also get fucked.

I have been knocked off to my death because somehow my parrying animation hit the wall (BEHIND ME) and somehow pushed me past the greatbow knight (IN FRONT OF ME)

Souls games can be glitchy as fuck. And somehow only fanboys never notice.

You wouldn't know a real challenge if it jumped across the arena and speared you in the chest

my normalfag skateboarder friend fucking finished ds how can't you?

Yup

I have played both

cool story bro

...

I forgot to mention, you can defeat the silver knight by standing in front of him with your shield up, chances are he's going to knock himself off the ledge if you position yourself correctly

This game isn't very hard, the AI is laughably bad

If you played both and succeeded, I sincerely don't understand how you have a single problem with the game. Smores and Oreos are probably the only thing with a higher difficulty curve in the game. I admit that fight is a little bullshit, but only if you're not patient and not good at timing your rolls.

Ladies and gentleman I give you the souls fanboy

If you like these games that's fine, but you guys are fucking delusional in your defense of this shit.

and Smores and Oreos is one of the few awesome parts in this shit

Did you try to go through the dungeon without enchanted weapons? Nito was the easiest of the four gods. One of the easiest bosses in general, it dies really fast with pyromancy.

Im going to tell you a super secret cheat to beat Nito that nobody could figure out until a dev let it slip. Wait for him to come to you and don't go aggro the giant skeletons.

Souls fanboys can't even get their shit straight

I don't know where this was implied, in the archives the sorcs all hit you from afar and then warp away immediately. If we're talking about the silver knights they're bullshit too because they're on a precarious ledge that you can't maneuver around and you're forced to get up in the enemy's face.
I said all the armor is useless excepting one specific armor set, it's extremely fashion oriented, and if you actually don't think so you're fucking wrong, what are you doing nigger?
Keep sucking shit out of jap kike ass, don't ever try to think critically about what makes a game or parts of a game good or bad.

Jesus christ lurk moar, you're the reason we can't have conversations about why souls is bad, you and the fuckers who say, "You're bad because you have criticisms about a game."

Nigger stfu
Its vidya, not Socrates

can you respond in a coherent manner, or has the degenerative shitposting disease spread to the parts of your brain that handle reading comprehension?

I'm not the one with coherency problems

...

How to spot a souls fanboy: always responds to ALL criticism with TOO HARD 4U or GIT GUD.
Protip (from your own posts)
"Souls games are hard" is a meme

So which is it:
Are Souls games hard?
Or are there legitimate issues with these games making them overrated?

emperor ing on veteran is easy once you get the pattern down, the fucking omega pirate on hard mode fucks your face

Original Homeworld Mission 14. It wasn't hard, just fucking took more than 10 hours to capture/salvage 2/3 of entire immobile enemies one by one and I was realize this is fucking waste of time.

If you are playing titanfall you are already a cuckslave to triple A overlords that had paid shills flood Holla Forums for a month when the first game was coming out.

Go back to halfchan immediately, people like you shouldn't be allowed to even have access to a keyboard if you're just going to play games like that and pretend that you shouldn't have your hands lopped off for giving money to the people that make that ultra casual shit.

Kill yourself immediately.

????

ya this i played a FUCK ton of quake. one of the GOAT just cause of the mods…

sounds like you were just trash a this game and probably underage fag

This shit right here

Although i admit, only Leon was hard.
Plus it didnt make you quit because there Handcannon waiting at the finish line.

He's not even the most difficult Lord to fight, just don't get anxious when you first fall in and stay by the entrance. Do you have like 10 Vitality or something?

...

Souls games are not hard. They are unforgiving. When people are told to 'git gud', its because they are complaining about something that is easy in hindsight.
There are some legitimate problems that can come up and get you killed in the game such as enemies attacking through walls and instant death pits. Even a player who knows the game like the back of their hand will die at least a few times each run.
It's just usually people don't complain about the legitimate complaints. They complain about the shit you can beat with a different piece of equipment or approaching in a different way.

Final Boss on Ys Origin on Nightmare difficulty.

...

So #2

What kind of fucking choice is that?

A choice that faggots get.
Don't like it?
GIT GOOD

Glad to know it wasn't just me

You're fitting in really well.

...

lol Souls games are hard is a meme

This isn't halfchan, you fucking idiot.

If OP can't beat Nito, then he should build for the uchigatana and grind like the pathetic bitch he is.

You just have to get close and then they usually fall of themselves trying to fight you.

this motherfucker
I can make orphan of kos my bitch easily, but this fucker had me try at least 20 times before I managed to kill him

final boss of Heart of Darkness

Tfw i work monitoring AI solutions

wtf i hate titanfall 2 now
