It is. Chalk it up to whatever factors you wish regarding the fucking state of the industry, but it's one of the best FPS released in recent years. Probably because it goes ahead and does most of the things right from classic games that came before.
Hipfiring is not useless even on PC. In fact, in some situations it's almost required. The movement is so fast (relative to most FPSs) and people are flying all over the place that ADSing is, in many cases, a very stupid move. It will make tracking your target more difficult and it slows you yourself down, making you a target.
It's decent for right now, but I, as are others, am concerned about longevity. Rumor has it that because Respawn is its own entity and isn't owned by EA (they just published), EA tried to sabotage Respawn by slating the release date of the game right between BF1 and CoD:IW (and EA owns one of those games). Because of this, its reception was pretty low, even though it is by far the best FPS of the three. Respawn is doing what it can to draw in more people, but it's hard to say what the long run will be.

It's actually nowhere to be found, at all, unless you count a couple military leaders being women as part of it, but that's it. As I said, Respawn isn't owned by EA, they did their own thing. OP, if you played Tribes: Ascend, it's like that but with less fast and more urban maps. You can still go retardedly fast, the weapon selection is actually pretty neat, and titans shake up the gameplay in a good way.

I don't know what that is, I didn't play the first one. There are a few different modes, Attrition (TDM), Bounty hunt (compete with other team for killing AI for cash and turning it in), CTF, Last Titan Standing, Pilots v Pilots only, Hardpoint (Objective capture). The community is somewhat thin as it is, so sometimes you'll need to play a gamemode you might not want to, simply because it may be only one of the two at that moment with anyone playing it. I don't know anything about DLCs or updates, aside from that I think they're planning on adding more maps for free as time goes on.

Servicable more like it. Origin is pretty annoying some times. Like, joining a friend is something easy to do in steam. But in origin, if you click join friend and it connects you to a party, but then hit it again accidentally it'll boot you back to the title screen and the friend needs to send another invite.

Its worth it. Singleplayer is fine but short, and multiplayer is where the game shines. There's some fun modes too like Bounty Hunt and Last Titan Standing.

Well it makes sense, it's damage control after poor sales due to releasing right next to fucking Battlefield Uno. It's still good though, even if it's getting shilled to hell. And it's definitely not generic, the abilities and on-the-ground to mech gameplay is something I haven't seen elsewhere, especially in AAA to my knowledge.

I've personally have had zero problems with lag. Balance is all over the place but I haven't seen a shit weapon yet. Maps are hit or miss, but for me its usually like that in every multiplayer.

Only legitimate argument, they really nerfed anti-titan weapons in this game, and you are stuck with only two for the longest time until you get to the higher levels. I notice though the more I play the better I am getting at handling them.

Played it for a bit. Love the single player, but man is the multiplayer bare bones. Also, the inability to browse servers was a huge turn off. Also, while the single player has some cool set pieces, the AI is miserably dumb on the hardest difficulty and I was just breezing through everything.

The smart pistol and ironsight sniping online all but sealed its fate.

I'll get it again once it's like 20 bucks and all the DLC is out. I will say this though, if there's one thing EA did right, it's their service for returning games.

I got this game for Christmas and the campaign is incredibly trash.
Even nuDOOM did better.

Here's what I can tell you OP:

Titanfall 2 looks like an interesting game to me. I'm an avid FPS player, and it's got a bit of what I like, and I wouldn't mind playing it. However, Origin is literal spyware/botnet - Until you can get Titanfall 2 without installing Origin, avoid it.

In regards to Origin's spyware / botnet status, survey the attached images.
A quick tl;dr is that EA was caught using Origin to spam signatures onto a petition, origin itself scans your computer files, and EA's "privacy" policies allow them to steal any information on your computer that isn't nailed down

SO, to reiterate: Titanfall 2 mite b cool, but Origin and EA are cancer.
