The Last Guardian

These games escaped development hell, for better or for worse. No one can crack "Y will release if X" -jokes anymore about these games. Even god damned Shenmue 3 is looking hopeful. There's just one last hurdle to be overcome.

I think the initial reason why we didn't get a Half-Life 3 is that they didn't know how to end it so they were conjuring ideas and seeing how profitable Steam became with the Orange Box explosion they said fuck it just make CS: GO and Dota 2.

What are your hopes for HL3, i imagine that it will have some sort of prcedural walking animations thingy so you can actually see your feet when you look down even during those tricky platforming sections and it actually looks like he is adapting his posture to the situations he (Gordon) is in. Also the world will be impossibly detailed and alive with lots of bugs and minor details.

The Last Guardian was basically pushed out of development hell so people would stop asking and was instantly forgotten.

It still looks like a fucking ps3 game

Bugs as in insects and small animals

Valve just wants everyone to forget that they made games once and want to focus solely on steam now. any understanding of game development in the company left a long while ago.

It will never come out, how many more years will it take for you to understand that?

Valve doesn't need to nor do they want to make games anymore. All they need are endless monkey sinks like Dota 2, CSGO, and TF2P. They have no reason to make single-player games anymore.

Probably because it was supposed to be one.

Until the day it comes out.

Just for it to come out and end the story. I'll be content either way.

I still remember when there was talk of it in 2007.

You know why there won't be a Half Life 3? Because the Half Life series was never good. 2004 had much better games than Half Life.
As far as games go, much better games were released that year. 2004 was the golden year of gaming. We will never hit that peak again. But Half Life 2 was definitely not one of the games that helped hit that peak.

...

The reason why this doesn't work is that Half Life 3 was never once announced to be in development. The only delay at work here is in fan expectation. By no practical definition is HL3 in development hell. You might perhaps have a case for Episode 3. Not HL3.

I have no game and I must play

how's shenmue looking like anyway? did they finally move into alpha? last time i checked they had that target prerrender and that was all

people still unironically believe it exists/ever will?

This is from 3 mobths ago, there are newer KS updates from like a month ago.

Underrated post, HL²Episode³ not HL3

well, it's a good thing half life came out in 1998, then, isn't it?

I still remember Last Guardian was potentially going to sell me on a PS3. Thank you, Team Ico, for saving me from two console generations.

I think that's probably because it's more of a meme than anything to do with anyone that actually played the episodes. That's where the real grievance lies, considering it was just left on that cliffhanger ending nearly a decade ago. Trashful.

It's been 25 years, user.

That implies that it's actually being developed. Valve has no reason to make games anymore when they can just charge autists obscene amounts of money for fucking virtual hats. The Steam market is a money printing machine.

Friendly reminder that Valve haven't made anything truly original since 2007.

If you thought the [CURRENT YEAR] was a ride, wait till you see [CURRENT YEAR +1].
We enter the space age, AA vidya devs are reborn, the cold war 2.0 and Syrian conflict ends, the ministry of truth is defeated and HL3 releases and causes a dimensional shift bringing all the ayy lmaos into the third dimension

For fuck sake, another thread? They'll release hl3 when source 2 comes out and they need another tech demo to shot off.

The fact that HL3 wasn't ready to ship with steambox/steamOS is all I really need to conclude that they are more than likely never going to make the game.

Source 2 is already out user. Also I'd expect them to go with L4D3 for a new tech demo since they could also find a way to stick weapon skins and shit into L4D with an engine update.

I bought that game. I even preordered the collector's edition, with all the bells and whistles. It was complete trash, and I know NOW that it's solely because it was developed by people that didn't respect the Duke. SJWbox Studios just created Patriarchy Simulator™ DNF because they were able to get their hands on an IP in development hell and they figured they could make a quick buck.

D3 was garbage on release, and if you ask me, it didn't get much better.

It's never happening.

OH FUCK

Source 2's been out for a while, champ. DotA 2 runs on it, afaik.

...

What do they even do at Valve right now anyway? Do they even develop anything?

I mean, there are people working here that can't be on Steam or on shitty cosmetics, like concept artists, writers, marketing teams etc

What's happening at Valve right now, how do they work? I'm genuinely curious

They circlejerk all day while laughing because they make heaps of money doing nothing

Source 2 has been out forever, Valve wont anything new because making skins and crates is easier than making games. I genuinely hope the failure of paid mods, paid sprays in CSGO and introducing fucking glove skins, the poor handling of Dota2's , and Valve getting under fire for gambling sites shows that they can have a good store front but as far as games go they are dead.

No, Valve is going to be perfectly fine because they have a monopoly on the PC games Market

Never understood why this arbitrary standard had anything to do with quality.
Valve hires people who already have a concept for a game, other companies hire people and hope that they are going to make up a concept for a game.

There's literally no reason for them to make Half-Life 3

I never said it had anything to do with quality. The point is Valve haven't created anything themselves for almost a decade other than perhaps the stories for shit like Portal 2 and TF2's comics, hardly amazing achievements. If HL3 is going to come out it'll be outsourced or largely based on a student game as with everything post-2007 that Valve had made because they simply don't have development talent in-house anymore. Note once again that 2007 is the year of death.

Also we aren't talking hiring people with just the concept of a game we're usually looking at cases of a small dev/mod team bought out with a fair bit of work already done or a student hired after doing all the work with their particular gimmick and then a Valve story slapped on top. It works and it produces games of a reasonably quality but those devs with talent don't stick around after their game is finished because working at Valve is fucking boring if you want to actually make games. The people responsible for L4D, for example, fucked off to make Evolve (hysterical failure though it was).

It's Steam's fault

Valve semms to think that HL3 needs to be a genre defining masterpiece and the game to end all games.

The pasion to make games left Valve long ago. You'd think that once they became super rich they'd be making games left and right but nope.

You need to let go user, Valve is now a store front and its games are also store fronts. Deal with it.

Not 2005

Valve's work environment lets you pick what you want to do whenever you want to do it. Meaning that the fun things get done fast and the boring things get done slowly. There are probably people working on Half Life 3 every now and again, just like how sometimes the only guy in the TF2 room wakes up and flails around a bit.
It's a shame, because Valve does polish and presentation really well when they actually make something. TF2's launch artstyle is beautiful, and the empty menus in HL2 and Portal fit the theme of the games nicely. Someone needs to give them a good fucking so they get back to not being lazy.

I still don't get how can they sustain, all jokes aside don't tell me they're all doing nothing all day aapart from orbiting the free snack bar
Then they should just re-name the company "Steam" at this point

Why the fuck would they make games when they could just do nothing

As user mentioned here that work environment is Valve biggest strength and also its greatest weakness because in the entire game making process there's ALWAYS gonna be times where shit is gonna get tedious, boring or downright frustrating and it's only a clear vision an good leadership that keeps the team moving forwards.

I agree they don't need to make games anymore but it doesn't mean they don't do anything. If people at Valve were as lazy as we make them out to be, Steam would be a massive trainwreck.

Their focus as a company right now is that the Steam platform runs as smooth as possible because they get the most revenue out of it.

That's true, this shit make so much money per second it must use better security systems than some top banks

I mean, the number of bank account linked to Steam, they must be under constant attack

Reminder that Jew Jew Abraham is in talks of making a Half-Life movie with Valve.
If the movie bombs I guarantee Valve will never make HL3.

...

How do you even make a HL movie? A faithful version would just have Gordon walking through corridors or crawling through vents, with the occasional firefights. HL1 might work as a survival horror at best, because the story is told passively from the point of the protagonist.

Steamworks would be a better company name than Steam

It would have to simply be in the same Universe like how Opposing Forces was, and just showed Gordon very briefly.

Exactly.

...

...

perfect movie for him

pretty good. :^)

...

??

>Steamdon'tworks
ftfy

half life 3 is a shitty forced meme that should die.

Episode 2's release date is closer to that of HL1 than it is to today. It's not happening, lads.

you don't see the face on them combine

Gearbox didn't develop DNF. They just produced it. The game is entirely 3D Realms creation.

Couldn't the fans make Half-Life 3? The source engine is available.

Once 8k resolution VR is developed, Gaben will release it. He's been waiting.

...

my hope is that it isn't a tell tale game at this point and that modding isn't transaction based.

It's gonna come out next year to mark the anniversary.

RIDLEY WHEN

fuck

pls no , source?

archive.is/ul5Om

Speaking of Half Life, why is there more news about a movie than a new game now?

Why are fags still buying games via Steam?

I hope so. Because that will bomb Steam a bit.

Because normalfags think thats where you get the games, its like your grandma who thinks internet explorer is the internet.

Agent has almost been announced 10 years ago, and it was never cancelled. We still have that one to make fun of

Oh god don't give them any more ideas. I can already see it:
Half Life: An end once and for all, A Telltale game

I doubt 3DRealms freely chose to turn DNF into a boring Halo clone.

They did, likely due to 2Ks meddling
They should have just released the game based on the 2001 demo.

Steam is the only reason why Valve still even exists, the people inside it are all talent-less hacks whether from the very beginning or because of their company's slothful work ethic. If they had a time-limit to do a game in 3 years I would expect them to be just as successful as it takes them to release one now.

They are the sin of sloth in company form, before Steam I admired them regardless of their work ethic and policies because their game were good, heck their ethic might have even been very good at the time, but afterwords it became the greatest killer of their productivity and creativity drives.

I came to despise them some time after HL2:E2, despise them like you would despise a fat kid that's immobile in his bed. The kid might be a great stock trader, has everything he needs to sustain himself, but you are never going to admire such a lazy cunt. You actually start hoping that he crashes and burns so that he moves from his fucking bed.

HL 3 will be a flop because there would be so much hype it could never deliver and would disappoint just about everyone. Because of this is doesn't make economic sense to release it killing a well known brand.

They are making the smart business decision by sitting on it until the hype finally dies (maybe another 10 year) then release without huge expectations.

Portal could make for a decent mindless Jar Jar Abrams flick but HL would need to be handled by someone else to not become a mindless action movie.

Here's hoping.

...

This is the dumbest thing anyone has posted in this thread. Look at the track record of all games ever. Publishers and devs both can't afford to care if anyone gets "disappointed". More often than not they deliberately overhype products ENSURING massive disappointment. That's how you sell games.

HL3 will be a huge success no matter when it launches. Bad reviews wouldn't stop it. It would be success just based on preorders / day 1 purchases. You clearly have no idea what you're talking about. Stop posting.

of the four games you listed only one of them ended up being worth playing. and its a porn game so its barely a game. everything else you listed was forgettable or terrible

FFXV really disproves this hypothesis.

nice double dubs, but FF15 still sold a lot before people starting picking it apart right?

valve is probably smart enough to just never finish half life because they won't be able to luck out like they did with HL2 again. HL2 isn't even a fucking good game, you spend half of it in vehicle sections or watching NPCs talk. the fans think its a god send because of the physics even though psi-ops came out the same year months before HL2 and did they same gimmicks but in a far engaging manner.

Ok, you release a game among massive hype and sell a fuckload of pre-orders only to get quickly diminishing sales on the back of terrible reception. Now you are a proud owner of a dead IP that will take a fucking awesome game to revive.

The other option is to sit on it for years then release with much less hype and have the game get less pre-orders but much more steady sales based on fair public reception instead of unrealistic hopes. Now the IP is still alive and unless HL3 was fucking awesome there isn't a heap of hype around HL4 so you can drop it 2 years later and get decent sales.

HL1 was one of the first FPS to actually have a decent story that is told ingame without heaps of cutsceens, HL2 was more of the same with a very impressive engine.

Both were good for there time but as is often the case the true gem goes largely ignored, Blue Shift was the best of the series.

...

Actually it might motivate them to make it.

Remember The Last Airbender? M Night shat on avatar which may have motivated Bryke to write Korra so that the franchise didn't end on a sour note.

…of course they then fucked Korra up as well. But they gave it a shot none the less.

never

ever

i would argue that the HL2 story is terrible because it tries so hard to be vague, which i believe is just valve making up for where they wrote themselves into corners. HL1 from a gameplay standpoint brings a lot more to the table, more weapons, more enemy variety, and a more interesting setting. aside from the engine i consider HL2 a giant downgrade

although not entirely the games fault, these methods helped popularize in-game exposition which for some reason people considered immersive and not just annoying, pace breaking, and harmful to replay value because you have to constantly stop and wait for npcs to talk to the player that can't respond, or wait for them to open a door for you. all that should be made skippable. lots of devs lifted that method because of HL2s popularity, and it evolved into the even worse forced-walking exposition

finding stuff in the environment to learn about the story is great because the player is in control of it, but for everything else i'd much rather have a skippable cutscene

How so? Completely different kind of franchise, different pacing of releases, different kind of fanbase etc. Have FF fans been waiting for a new title in their series for 8+ years? Have all games in the series until then had high ratings?

It's like you don't realize how fucked video games really are.

This is correct but brand loyalty is so strong, most people haven't realized this even 12 years later.

I find it immersive but think the best way of doing it is to leave the player free to just run off on the AI if they don't want to hear it. Many devs won't do this because having their story ignored hurts their fragile egos.

This can be done well or not so well depending on how clear they make it what is important and what is just flavor. I personally like Morrowinds method of having certain characters repeatedly come up in conversation and books named after them making it clear what is relevant.

I fucking hate cutscenes with a passion, as soon as I can't control my character I start wondering why I aren't watching a movie or reading a book both of which have much better stories than you will ever find in vidya.

Maybe I'm still in denial, maybe I'm crazy, maybe Gabe was honest when he said he was being "greedy long".

In which case the answer is to release the game now since this hype is only going to grow more and more the longer it takes.

Even after every has forgotten about the IP an announcement is just going to cause a hype explosion of "holy shit a new half life game we've been waiting fucking decades for this"

But regardless, trying to avoid hype for your product is beyond fucking retarded. You want the product to sell for fuck sake. Obviously the game is never going to live up to the expectations but unless it's a legitimately bad game it's probably going to get positive reception nonetheless.

post yfw half life one got a remake mod before half life 3 has even been announced

great remake

The latter third is nearing release as well though.

I have to disagree, generally only the young are stupid enough to get hyped so by 2024 everyone that played HL2 when it was new will be be over hype while those that played it long after release will see it without nostalgia goggles.

Sure there will be a new generation of "vidya journalists" to get excited for something they have never played but unless Value gives them shekels even they won't be over the top about it.

They still released it unfinished, I don't care if they're finishing it several months after everybody stopped caring.

One look at the hype for Force Awakens disproves this. I know men in their 40s who were completely fell for the hype behind it. Hell its entire marketing ploy was to get the adults who watched the originals as children to take their own children to see it.

Can't argue with that, I even know some old guys that claim Jar Jar Abrams Star Wars are good.
Star Trek was always better but Jar Jar stabbed that in the throat too

>For fuck sake, another thread? They'll release hl3 when source 2 source 3 comes out and they need another tech demo to shot off.
:^) :^) :^)

>by sitting on it until the hype finally dies (maybe another 10 year) then release without huge expectations. as an incredibly hype cash-in ridden with all kinds of nostalgiafag goodness.

...

I would post smug if the "remake" was any good, but it's not so no smug from me

I remember when it was only going to be a free mod for HL2, how times have change

i've grown to appreciate cutscenes for the fact they make a clear cut between story and gameplay. of course an unskippable cutscene is almost the worst even if i like the game story or not

the absolute worst is still forced walking, not only do i have to listen to an NPC talk at snail speed before i'm allowed to progress, but i have to hold the walk button too so i can't walk off and take a dump if i've seen it already or i don't care about the content

Opposing force is the best game in the half-life series.

...

Valve rips off evangelion.
Otis is the true hero and become the half life equivalent of Rei.
He ate all the donuts so he can hibernate to destroy the combine.

There wont be a HL3 because Valve makes far more money running Steam and its associated marketplaces than it would by developing and selling HL3.

The Half-Life series was only made to get people to use Steam and as a tech demo for their engines. People already use Steam and the newest engine has other, more popular, games which use it.

A bit of a waste.

Source 2 isn't officially "out" yet.
It was announced in 2015 and so far a grand total of one game runs on it; DoTA 2.
I don't know why the fuck Valve even announced it yet. It's clearly not a finished engine and they've released very few details about it.
It's been a year and a half and we still don't know much about Source 2, when it will release, what games will be made with it or how it's improved when compared to its predecessor.

There really is no info about anything related to Source 2. The thing is, it doesn't really have a predecessor. Valve pushes engine updates onto their titles all the time so there is no Source 1 to speak of (unless we count stuff like V:TM-B).
It's starting to look like they will just do one of their routine updates with some added (probably VR) feature as an excuse to turn those 1.x numbers into a 2.x

It's a work in "progress", last stages are still missing.
No idea if this will ever be finished, so unfortunately this can't be the definitive version of HalfLife 1.

I don't really want HL3, I just want a good shooter. It's been a really long time since a competently made, creative, and fun shooter was made. HL2+episodes is pretty good, but it would be nice to get more of that. Hopefully with less unskippable cutscenes.

it's not the definitive version of hl1 and never can be. It's a completely different game.

It's not Valve that thinks that.
It's everyone else.
Which is why Valve most likley will never make it in the first place.
They might have some poor guys "working" on it, but no matter what they'll try, it will not live up to the expectations everyone has by now.
They should've kept their idea with the episodes and simply realse the third on in whatever state it was in back then.

This is true. There was supposed to be an EPSIODE 3.

Nobody ever talked about Half-life 3.

But I guess Valve isn't the only ones who've forgotten that. Whatever happened with episodic content anyway? I always thought it was a retarded concept.

Jesus even Nintendo occasionally does something else besides Pokémon/Mario/Zelda.

Valve is just e-commerce now.

Half-Life 3 will never come out because nobody at Valve wants to work on it. They're making too much money off of retards who spend unreasonable amounts of money on cosmetic shit for TF2, CS:GO and Dota 2.

Evidently Valve did as well.

Episodic content works if you've got a factory-like approach to game development where you're just pumping content out and some story-strong IPs whereby your community are going to be discussing the ongoing story between episodes, but it's possibly the worst model to adopt if your a company that's constantly experimenting and scrapping content.

I reached the point where i wish it never will be released!

…or atleast i hope i will be long dead when it comes out and my sweet memories wouldn't be raped by some cheap gimmick shit.

At the end of Ep2 Gordon was knocked into a coma and off-screen the world slowly took their world back now that the connection between worlds is disconnected. It's best to just assume that's how it ends to save yourself the grief.

Because the only goal of Source 2 was for ASSFAGGOTS. They have the money maker, they don't need to work anything else anymore.

Half Life 2 had some major problems but you can't just say it was worse than WoW. It is far from perfect but at least it's vaguely enjoyable and has the slightest amount of good design put into it which can't be said for WoW.

That is wishful thinking.
Source 2 was released a while ago and it's not that major of an improvement.

>here watch this character talk for a minute but keep in mind that this sequence totally isn't a cutscene since you can walk around
Release WoW was great.

HL2 has extreme handholding with ammo; the crates will always spawn the right kind.

Of course expect the even more extreme "HEY DUMMY THIS WEAPON IS THE BEST SUITABLE ONE FOR THIS AREA RIGHT NEXT TO A BOX WITH INFINITE AMMO FOR IT" faggotry.

Except the revolver. The only fun weapon in the game.

But hey, at least the sprint and the flashlight didn't share a power source.

would buy

lets be honest though, it would have been better if they just let the series die.

The difference between ps3 and ps4 games is not that big though.

The problem with it is obvious once you spend an hour or so with it. It combines SOTC and ICO and the two games do not match at all. The majority of the solutions in my play time so far have been "wait for the beast to turn up and solve it for you". Any time I got stuck wasn't because I couldn't figure out the puzzle, it was that there wasn't a puzzle and I was expected to watch the game play it's self.

They had an idea, it didn't work and rather than drop it they kept pushing. Now we have a terrible third game that has damaged the name of Team ICO because of it.

Shadow of the collosus is highly overrated compared to ICO, tbqh fam

Valve do have bosses, they're just selected through playground politics. Read the reviews on working there some time, it's like high school girls the company.

Steam IS a massive train wreck, try finding anything worth while on it, you can't because it's all EA, greenlight or RPG maker.

That's why I said "slightest amount" which is still more than the complete absence of good design in WoW.

From what I understand, there are two reasons its not coming out yet.

At this point though, I think they already lost their potential most sales they could have ever made. Maybe they are hoping that since its been in development for so long that it with get meme sales boost if it ever does get released. Since people bought Duke Nukem Forever simply because "lol they actually released it" even though it was a steaming pile.

I thought HL2 was released to showcase their new engine, not to promote steam.

This is correct, they didn't really think Steam was going to become what it is at the time and was more of an experimental way to handle updates for HL2 and CS:S. The fact that you could update your games through it and do digital distribution started to make it pretty lucrative for devs after The Orange box started to become very successful and Steam became less awful than it was at launch.

i feel bad for shenmue-fans.

In all fairness its been a staple of the series and Shenmue has other things going for it like the world interactivity and combat, plus its still very early in development.

...

Shaking my damn head to be honest family.

i'll play hl3 a year before i see the uncropped pic related….

Is Shenmue 2 even any good? I never had HUEG so I never played it or Dragoon whatever it is plus all the other games supposed to be on the DC but switched platforms to something not sony or nintendo.

I've seen valve statements that they don't want to touch half life again until there is the technology available to make it possible to really wow people with the game. When VR becomes mainstream, maybe that will give them the push but even then it might not be what they are looking for.

Call me when Fallout:Van Buren comes out.

Blizzcucks should be gassed
WoW was never good

Who "ironically" draws gay porn?

The same people who "ironically" go on and on about healsluts and are totally 100% straight.

...

Theres that word again
Fuckoff blizzcuck

Fix/remove all of that and you end up with a game that's nearly as boring and easy as modern WoW, good job.

Theres that word again
Fuckoff shitposter

WoW/Blizzard autists are worse than Beth cocksuckers, its quite something to behold.

It's [Current year] +2

Thats implying Valve cares or needs the money. They are fine selling their old shit while making money off of Steam. You won't see a Half-Life 3 until Valve is dying, and then it will be rushed and shit.

The only good thing about half life 2 was the engine.

Everything else was prententious normalfag cuck shit + gimmick gun to show off the engine.

I hope valve never makes a game again and I hope their platform dies.

HL1 was ok.

I distinctly recall someone in a Gearbox behind the scenes video or commentary thing saying they had to add 2 weapon limitations and regen health late in development because it would confuse the console casuals.

Mostly new babies who was born in the 1990s.

Some unpopular opinions you have there.
When HL2 was announced the only demo they showed was the tech demo on ravenholm, and the famous gman face tech demo.

Anyone recall seeing any half life 2 trailers ? i mean before it's release ? I sure don't.

The whole game itself was a tech demo at the time showing havoc physics in operation where far cry was the poster boy for large distanced rendering and impressive amount of vegetation props on screen with the big promotion of nvidia. Back to HL2, they started to push their games out after the so called "leaked" which wasn't complete anyway and they claimed it was complete and they have to change the story so they release it later, delays after delays and people who bought the ATi 9xxx series mid to high end cards (i was one of them) raged on about the delays.

When it was released valve actually lost most of the heat on HL2 and focused on developing steam as the next "itunes store", gabe stressed multiple times about delivering a service and fucking pirates in the butt etc.

Valve didn't have any target or directions at all when comes to their half life legacy, they just wanna make money. Nuff said.

I hope your not expecting subtlety of any kind

I don't think I've ever heard another individual be so wrong

Only Source 2 game that has been released is Dota 2 and that's hardly Source 2, as Source 2 hasn't even been finished yet and the "source 2" of Dota 2 is running a lot of legacy code.
What the base engine can do is not what is possible if you actually try. Seen Titanfall 2? That game looks really good, and that's on Source engine, not Source 2, Source.
Seen Total Chaos? That's running on the Doom 1 engine, id Tech 1. Granted, it's been modified to fuck with GZDoom, but it's still id Tech 1 at core.

Team Ico games aren't about gameplay though. But this board in general doesn't like story in games.

Valve was the first that's all. Gabe had a brilliant vision and he was right. Now everyone is locked in.

...

Yes, it's an excellent game if you're into martial arts and detective work. Hong Kong is also fun to explore as it's much more varied than Yokosuka. And just when you think it's getting stale, you go to Kowloon where things get really interesting.

Panzer Dragoon Orta is also great but it's a completely different game. Look it up.

Also should you should just burn the game to four discs and play the Dreamcast version, or emulate with Demul.

...

They've been saying that for the past three years.

How lewd does that anime get?

a WAD is a format that contains all the data for the OG doom games.

Terry is a WAD creator who made some large and useless bloatware WADs most of which were removed due to them being bloatware

Shame they were all shit though.

WHY DID YOU HAVE TO GRANT HIM DUBS KEK?!
WHY???!!!

You fuckers will never undertstand that meme magic is a double edged sword. You let it grow and now it's out of control. Good job dipshits.

The only way half life 3 would come out and not flop is if Gabe Newell died and they released it to honor him

The only reason it wouldn't flop is because it would roll.

It's so fucking predictable

The shelling thing is actually confirmed from portal 2, coop mode

We get it, you were 12 and riding your bicycle to the strip club was a meaningful gaming experience for you.

I do not know who made this piece of shit, i hope he dies while he's pissing in toilet.

if you still have hopes for hl3 then you have stockholm syndrome
