Not the guy, but some character changes are questionable to say the least. Some characters lost a move or two for no reason. Some play a bit differently now (Slayer, some say Faust too but I can't say, didn't play him), but Slayer mostly because he can't do good, safe damage without RCs and that coupled with his shitty range means he just isn't fun anymore. I don't say we should go back to RELOAD where a single hit from this guy took away a third of your health, but I don't like him as he is now.
There are good changes though, like Ky has a different tool and really relies on Spirit Ciel but is overall still fun while I-No got really improved.

Some also complain about one RC type replaced with another which is much easier to use and abuse, but the old one was very strict to say the least. This one has way more applications too, but can make comboing way easier because of slowdown. And yeah, stylish indeed is shit and only meant to perhaps show an absolute newbie the basics of basics of a character.

Granted slayer is very different, but not completely bad. His Downward heavy attack is considerably buffed in range.
Faust has some range increase and some extra stuff he can drop from his throw move: helium which changes your voice, oil that slows(I think), a black hole that pulls and a trampoline.
But other characters like Millia are almost untouched.

Outside of Careless Whisper and Everything She Wants, has George Michael done anything good? Even Prince has a longer list of good songs along with being a superb guitarist. The only thing with the death of Prince was that it was talked about endlessly whereas Bowie's passing was a fart in the room. I guess it's in part because Prince's death was unexpected, but Bowie should've gotten a fucking planet named after him for all the attention that was given to Prince.

I haven't played any of the GGXRD games, but I heard that like Baiken, Robo Ky appears in the story mode. Is that true?

True. In Revelator, Baiken has a pretty decent role and Robo-Ky does a pretty huge thing. Makes you wonder why his series would be discontinued if they can do this.
Since Arcsys police is really autistic about removing the story mode from youtube, the fastest way to see it is either finding a mega with it if it exists or buying the game.

Robo-Ky is the prototype and the last of his kind as well as a hobo. He gets found by Venom and is offered a job. Later, Robo-Ky and Venom kill Bedman, but Robo-Ky is reduced to only the head and Venom "dies" which means he is probably just unconscious. In the epilogue, Robo-Ky's head carries Venom to fuck-knows-where, probably Crow. Baiken protects Kum Haehyun from Universal Will's soldiers while Kum tries to save the Japanese in the Nip Colony from becoming exploding black gears because that's what Nips do.

Now that I think of it, he did do Faith which is alright. I guess it's a matter of taste. I'm not so much of a pop guy and can't tolerate Michael Jackson's post-black discography.

But yeah, I liked Prince more for his ability to play guitar than for his music. David Bowie was much more consistent in quality and created some truly memorable songs while the most I could say for Prince is Purple Rain, When Doves Cry, and Kiss.

It's overarching plot was a mess and only a couple of interesting cases in that (~30?) hour mess. There are dogshit anime weaboo garbage visual novels with better whodunnits than this and at least they don't make you slog through shitty cover shooter gameplay and no fun allowed driving segments.

Trouble in Terrorist Town and similar mafia-inspired games (not the Mafia videogame I mean the party game) are the only good video game murder mysteries since the murder and the investigation are both pure 100% gameplay, albeit multiplayer with usually shit communities. Aside from that it's just Ghost Trick which probably doesn't count in this aspect and Danganronpa which is only technically a game and it has some pretty terrible murders mixed in with genius ones DR2 chapter 5.
