Oh yeah, Brotherhood was surprisingly high quality, more so than the Pokemon Generation episodes that have been seeping out for a while. Compared to several other attempts at video game movies, Kingsglaive isn't half bad for being faithful and directly from the source. I personally treated it like a 2 hour cutscene.

Yeah, it's one of the reasons why Awakening is one of the weaker entries in the series. Too easy, simply because of that mechanic. Really tips the game to the player's favour.
