In order to hang out with the “cool kids” I decided to go back and replay all the mainline Zelda entries in order to develop deep hatred for Twilight Princess but I couldn’t bring myself to hate it (much). Yes I can see the flaws; BIG FLAWS mind you but overall is one of the best ones in the series.

Isn’t OoT hailed as the best game ever made by every Zelda fan? Also, it’s funny considering that everyone used to bitch about how Wind Waker was shit because it was so different in structure and art-style.

I concur he could’ve used more development but isn’t he supposed to be a teenager? I haven’t meet a single teenager who’s emotionally intelligent, so you either have really obnoxious teenagers or those who seem invisible, the latter being a bit more appropriate for the supposed Hero of Time. Back then, the only time Link showed true emotions was in WW which gave him some charm but he was a kid and it was appropriate, imagine TPP Link emoting the same way as WW Link.

True, it lacks the nuance and thematic artistry of Majora’s Mask but let’s not forget that WW was “childish” and sold like shit so Nintendo tried too hard to get away from it.

If anything this whole ordeal just made me accept the Zelda Cycle as fact rather than hyperbole. Let’s see if Breath of The Wild breaks it…

Also Midna is best Zelda grill.

So, which one is your best Zelda game and why?

Skyward sword is best zelda.

Links Awakening or Ages

Wind Waker would have been better without the water. I bought a Gamecube back in the day because I saw advertisements form Twilight Princess back in 2002. I thought the game never came out of the Gamecube, but apparently there are iso's on emuparadise. Still never played it. Its funny because I typically like Metriod style games, and liked Zelder as a kid, but I honestly haven't played a Zeldin game in years aside from the Gameboy games.

Why are the gameboy Zilda games the best?

My only big gripes with Twilight Princess are having a really noticeably slow start and the damage being way too low (the only times quarter-heart damage feels right is at the very beginning since you don't have much health to begin with, and maybe in the Cave of Ordeals by virtue of being a longass gauntlet and having the final room with three fucking darknuts in close quarters). That's just my own take on it though; I know there's other valid complains people have that I didn't find myself minding that much (the wolf sections come to mind).

I don't mind it being similar to Ocarina, the art, darkness, emotion, or stuff like that. What killed it for me was one of the worst openings to a game I've ever played. I hated the game until I got past the Goron Mines for how it would make you do all this bullshit instead of something fun like combat. It always felt like a chore to play until Hyrule started to open up. What doesn't help is the wolf gimmick eating up chunks of the game with worse combat and fetch quests. Previous Zelda games had additions to further improve the games up until Ocarina. That game onwards has been exchanging gimmicks and calling it a day. Darkworld for past/future. Past/future for 3 days. 3 days for sailing. Sailing for Wolf darkworld. Wolf darkworld for wind sailing. Wind sailing for wall paintings. Some of them are okay and worked just for their game, but it's a sign of decay for Nintendo. They don't know how to further improve Zelda, so they turn every game into an experiment.

Twilight Princess, despite my personal beef with the beginning, is the only fully developed 3D game released after Ocarina that really tried to continue the legacy. Breath of the Wild looks to be doing the same, but I'm waiting for another fuck up from either Aonuma's team or NoA.

Last I heard people on Holla Forums loved TP because they wanted to fuck the imp and Skyward Sword was the hated one.

What the cool kids nowadays do is hate the newest zelda game because it is new. The only mainline zelda game that I downright despise was skyward sword. I have replayed all mainline zelda games at least twice, but I can't bring myself to replay skyward sword. The combination of the janky motion controls, the lack of everything and anything in the overworld, the obnoxious companion, and the overall shitty dungeon design is a huge turn off. Heck two month ago I booted skyward sword and shut off the console as soon as I got control of link.

The game feels like a chore rather than an adventure, and that;s what I fear will happen with breath of the wild. If playing the game feels like a chore then it isn't a zelda.

I like Minish Cap.

Even if the game ends up bland and boring, Nintendo has a good track record for making games that are bug free (you dont find most unless you actively look) and highly polished; the graphics are always coherent and unified.

I felt the same way going into Super Mario 3D World (the catsuit one). Sure it played like every other NSMB game but I got what I expected.

This is the attitude I have with BOTW and it might be the last Nintendo thing I buy… I skipped Pokemon, the Switch doesnt interest me, and I never liked their online

Best Zelda game is the original, or Zelda II. After that they get increasingly more linear which is not what drew me to the series in the first place.
TP is good, it's just slow and waaay too easy. Hero Mode in the HD remake should have been the default. Link as a blank-slate silent-protagonist is best Link, as long as he's a playable character. It's a trope, true, but it works well and does so for a reason.
Best girl is Malon/Cremia

I though Twilight princess was pretty boring, trips man.
Maybe people don't like sequels that are too much alike. Maybe that's the reason people hate CoD.

What pissed me off in this game was the useless light ball collection furry missions, which had no fucking point. Fucking waste of time. And they even extended that shit on Skyward Sword to artificially prolong the game by collecting shit within a time frame. At least in other Zelda games those kind of shit "minigames" was optional to win some rubies or heart pieces.

And the Ōkami furry mode didn't even need to exist in the first place, a forced shit mechanic. Otherwise the game was enjoyable.

im just here for the porn

The hatred for Skyward Sword I can understand and I seriously doubt that will get retroactive praise earned by Majora's Mask/Wind Waker.

While I disagree with you in regards of best girl, I demand more Malon/Cremia lewds to start milking the cow, if you know what I mean.

Boring? I'd say it has serious pacing issues.

I like the Wolf Link as a concept and you can see it shine a bit in the endgame but I agree that it was forced most of the time.

Every Zelda game has two "sides" to it. Light world and dark world; past and future, human and twilight. It'd be like having a Mario game without Koopas

It wont. I'm not expecting it to be the best Zelda ever, but I'm expecting it to be one of the most unique ones at least.

Is that what too much bitterness does to a person? They become hopelessly retarded?

I've never played a Zelda game, but Midna's hips don't lie

...

I think he means that he either hadn't played them in order prior, or wanted to see if his liking for certain entries had changed with time.

Wrong. Its haled as the best videogame ever fucking made by Game Journalists. and nobody takes them seriously

Its honestly my favorite Zelda game at least until the Nunchuk I ordered from Amazon comes in and I can finally play through Skyward Sword on Dolphin Having just recently done a marathon of 3D Zeldas. Ocarina of Time is a close third to me, Majoras Mask a second. But Twilight Princess seriously feels like an improved Majoras Mask, including the atmosphere. Wind Waker is pretty shit though.

user when everyone trashes a game(s) you like, don't you ever feel like:

A) Everyone is insane (it's genuinely good)
B) You have shit tastes (you're blinded by nostalgia/hype or whatever)

You have to get perspective either to call everyone a faggot or to grow and develop your tastes

OH HO YO!
Yeah, I have played through all the Zeldas from start to finish, besides Skyward Sword. I got to the first "temple" or whatever, and I haven't picked it up since.
Here is my order, but I am not bound to the series, cause I know it isn't that fucking great.
Good Tier.
Zelda II, Legend Of Zelda, Links Awakening, Link To The Past, Ages, Seasons, (Or which ever one was action based and not puzzle based).
Okay Tier.
Minish Cap, Majoras Mask, Wind Waker.
Garbage Tier.
Four Swords Adventure, OoT, Twilight Princess, Phantom Hour, Spirit Tracks. I can't put Skyward anywhere cause I haven't finished it. Fuck Tri Heroes, and fuck Link Between Worlds, I wont go near that shit. I have no exceptions for Breathe Of The Tits nor am I buying a Switch. I got my WiiU for 100$ with a Pro Controller. Fuck Nintendo, they are dead.

Because actually imp form is the best. You also spend 99% of the game with her in that form, when all the major developments and cute idle animations happen.

In terms of tedious shit to get to the dungeons it's like Majora's Mask, yes.

Just to forewarn you skyward sword can get annoying at times.
And if i remember right the wiimote will calibrate to whatever its position is at when you pull out an item like the bow. So if your arm is down when you switch items you will have to recalibrate when you put your arm up. Its only one button press but it can be aggrivating.
I don't know, its an alright zelda but you kind of have to be patient with it or it might get to you.

I had fun with my first playthrough of Skyward Sword (Lanayru Sand Sea and Ancient Cistern are definite highlights), but looking back there is so much fucking tedium to the game that it's not one I have much interest in ever replaying. Any other 3D console Zelda, I don't mind replaying that much, even if I don't get around to doing so that often, but Skyward Sword goes way too far with locking progression behind annoying shit. And it also goes way too far with the handholding at the same time, between both the camera pan and Fi.

At least Ghirahim is entertaining.

I disagree with all of these things. Every 3D Zelda title has emulated OoT to some degree, so I don't see why anyone would chastise TP for taking influence but not the rest. As for Link, he's essentially a blank slate. He's never really had any personality. Wind Waker's Link didn't have any personality of his own, he just had a more exaggerated range of facial expressions that were possible because of the cartoon-esque aesthetic, and TP Link also uses a range of facial expressions that are equally effective in conveying his emotional state and response to things. Finally, the game is not dark. It's still a lighthearted romp through Hyrule. There are some brief moments that could be considered "dark" I guess but they're interspersed between major segments of wacky and slapstick style humor. I don't know how anyone could say it's " thematically dark".

'no'
because exposure to the form clearly means it is better
I'll give you that, imp Midna is lewd as fuck at times

And people believe that Majora's mask would be better without such a strict time mechanic. I still think both stances are wrong but I understand why people don't like the sailing or time rewinding.

The Zelda cycle might apply a bit to reactive fanboys and a good chunk of the normalfag audience, but it doesn't help that Skyward Sword was genuine dogshit compared to the prior titles and the cycle has nothing to do with that. I won't even say a word about the motion controls, the game is a streamlined, dumbed down piece of shit. And that's comparing it to Twilight Princess.

Doesn't sound like yes

Back To The Reddit

I don't care for the game whatsoever for a variety of reasons but for those common complaints you yourself address:

It really is, so if you like OoT you'll get more of the same with a immensely bigger but equally empty overworld. Wind Waker was OoT2 as well, but added and streamlined quite a few things from OoT (on-the-fly arrow switching, grappling hooks, swordplay counters, generally smarter enemies, etc) whereas most of TP's additions were just from Wind Waker and quite a large amount was actually removed. Most prominently the magic meter, which meant magic arrows and spells were gone, and the Magic Armor fed directly into your rupees.

Nintendo can't decide whether Link's his own character or if he's a completely reactionless silent protagonist or not. Wind Waker and Skyward Sword showed Link reacting to events entirely on his own, Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask did so as well to a lesser extent (the latter moreso). I'd like it if they'd make up their mind since I don't care for the whole silent-protag trope to begin with since it results in awkward and jilted dialogue surrounding the character who's supposed to be important to events and other characters just speaking for you. I was a fan of Hyrule Warriors' version of Link actually getting cocky and thinking himself indestructible after getting his hands on the Master Sword.

Not really darker than Ocarina of Time in actual tone and story, just in lighting. Only thing I can think of that's necessarily darker is showing Ganondorf's death as well as Zant's neck breaking.

Oh yeah. That saccharine art style sure saved it.

Every Zelda game ever. I'm honestly growing tired of seeing this written.

Butterfly catching is the best of any game. Hunting is a joy.

That maddening bullshit? Are you insane?

I guess so. I liked the pseudo dungeons you find hidden on islands in Wind Waker and maps with Tingle.

Every Zelda game has a unique way to play it and really sink time into it. Enjoy it.

I can tell you're one of those dudes who just wants to get through content. I spend fucking hours tooling around in my games.

BOY I LOVE HUNTING TUMBLEWEEDS
I GENUINELY ENJOY SITTING STILL AND WAITING FOR OVER AN HOUR TO GET ENOUGH TUMBLEWEEDS TO CRAFT A FUCKING BOW UPGRADE TWICE
fuck you

No I'm fine with getting lost in a world and dicking around, but that's skyward swords main problem, there is no world to dick around in.

I don't do that, though. I gather things as I go, finding joy from making detours.

It could have been better for exploring. I dislike the direction modern games are going, and Zelda is no exception.

But the island you hunt butterflies on was perfect. I really enjoyed the minigames in this one. I find it's actually underrated

Just post Midna porn already. OP clearly wants it.

Nothing beats letter sorting in Winder Waker, now that I think about it.

There's fucking monsters every.
The castle has been taken over.
People are being kidnapped and either turned into twili or murdered.
And despite all of this, there are plenty of people willing to help Link take care of his friends and complete his quests without asking any questions.

BUT GOD FORBID! God forbid any of these people find out he can transform into a wolf! God forbid he tell people about Zant, or Midna, or anything at all.

Hey, researcher trying to learn more about the bird people and their kingdom, Want to actually travel to that place?
Too fucking bad, we can't have you watching midna teleport stuff. (It's also cause they cut all the companions out of the last 4 dungeons, but god forbid this guy at least makes it to the entrance of the city.

And don't go teleporting anywhere with people watching you either. You have to run off an arbitrary distance from people first.

It may seem tedious, but it's worth it to make the Towns and people feel completely disconnected from the games story and ruin just about all the tension in the 2nd half of the game.

It's still grinding. If you can admit you have autism or something then fine, but the crafting system and treasure system is honestly not needed at all.

At any rate, botw looks like it will have more dicking about than any zelda before.

I'm kind of pissed off cause it has a literal smartphone in-universe. How is that wild? It's like going camping in an RV.

It's grinding.

Yes, the japanese don't understand that cramming modern or sci-fi tech into a fantasy universe ruins it.

They do it with so many franchises.

You know I think there's something to be said about how Twilight Princess has so much wasted material for such an interesting universe and setting. It really would have been cool if the game was made to look like the world didn't revolve around you.

Don't count on that being the case for any other game after how badly Skyward Sword screwed the pooch with the "spirit of the Hero" stuff. Now the entire universe legitimately revolves around Link and also Zelda is a goddess.

I think that's always been the case. There's always been 4th wall breaking subtext about how Link is the player and they are connected over time.

We can always hope they ignore skyward sword int he future. It was the worst zelda game ever made.

The problem is that you can still do that without making it feel like a fucking soap opera. Or in other words it can be a subtle tool to add a bit of lore but there doesn't need to be a 10 minute cut-scene explaining it in cringy translations and meaningless dialog choices.

Skyward sword immediately get's placed about Twilight princess for not pulling any secret identity bullshit.

I was out and out dreading that Fi would be all "Link, we can't tell anyone about the surface, this is a safe space" bullshit. Instead, the people are wishing me luck going down there, and I'm bringing them things I find down there.

The problem is that for every thing SS does right, it does about 2 things wrong in the same department. Fi's is a generally boring and annoying character who decides to have an ark that was motivated by nothing at the very end of the game. I honestly hate her more than Navi. Also her dialog is padded to hell, which wouldn't be a big problem if her text wasn't so slow and unskipable.

I think we can all agree

Less Disney stoogery and effeminate gayboys, and more freedom. Why story isn't entirely background by now, I don't know.

If you have to use that word defending a game then it's shit.

People hate Twilight Princess?
Hell my favourite 3D Zelda game was Wind Waker until I decided to play TP 2 years ago, I fucking loved it.
Wind Waker probably still is my favourite but the memory of TP is fresher.

- Midna isn't annoying like Navi, Fi etc.
- The wolf parts aren't even that bad
- Even if you do hate the wolf parts they don't last that long
- Twili Midna is best girl closely followed by Imp Midna
Dammit Midna, you loved him. Why destroy the mirror? ;_;

Only thing that annoyed me was that Malo faggots attitude.

Also can someone tell me where the whole "TP Zelda is cold-hearted" meme came from?
Never got that feeling from her throughout the game.

While I wouldn't really call TP bad I wouldn't really call it that great either. Even as far as Zelda games go. It's still heavily flawed in many areas. Primarily in the tediousness and the terrible plot with a few semi-decent characters. It definitely has it's flaws. And as far as the 3D Zelda games for console I would put it second to last with SS in the bottom That being said I fucking love the premise, setting and (wasted) opportunity the game has so it's my favorite Zelda game by pure preference.

Also please god tell me you have the Link version of that pic.

Have you ever gone on an adventure with someone?

Only retards who have never played it could say this. There are some dark (even creepy) moments like vid-related but for the most part it's just as tame and whimsical as any of the others, it's not any worse than Ocarina of Time's Well Dungeon or Shadow Temple and it certainly isn't as dark as Majora's Mask.

Even Wind Waker had a more graphic death for Ganondorf. Can you think of anything else where someone gets impaled right through the skull?

KING GEEDORAH

He talked and turned to stone afterwards, he didn't even die right.

...

It gave us the best waifu so I can't malign it too hard

Imp a shit and you're shit for liking it you shitter

...

...

Honestly thats probably one of the funniest scenes I have ever read.

Twili Midna is so overwhelmingly perfect it hurts

Kek

Bet if someone draw a nig like that here he would be bashed for racism

Dick is diamon user, i want to tongue travel every inch from the clit to the lips

My one wish for Breath of the Wild is that the Master Sword is drawn from its pedestal and it turns out to be Ganondorf's forehead you drew it from.

thanks user for the gift of best midna

The only things I really disliked about Twilight Princess were the twilight world dungeon because of the excessive dog swapping, the sky dungeon because of the disappointment of getting just a second clawshot, and the underdevelopment of the overworld. They made Hyrule Castle town big and bustling but it feels emptier than Ocarina's since you can only go into like three or four buildings and can't talk to most of the townsfolk. Zora's domain was basically two medium sized pools with nothing of interest in either. The only place that felt fully fleshed out was the starting town.

...

That's really bothered me about Zelda past the N64 ones.

One has a burka and the other has a tard helmet

They both are shit.

Just to follow up, the 2 best wifus in the series.

...

Under cons, you forgot

I'm getting real tired of this Ganondorf shit. At least Majora didn't get cucked by Ganon too

The first two have naked versions too. The first one's is so freaking huge I can't actually upload it on my shitty internet, but just look for it, it's easy to find if you're not a retard.

I prefer it when the people who draw her don't ignore her skin pattern. The Impna artists don't pull this shit why is it ok with her?

I fucking love Ganondorf. I even almost share his name. I just wish that, if they're going to have a new villain, they stick with it, and if they're going to have Ganondorf, they do something to make him memorable. Hyrule Warriors was pretty much the best of both worlds. Cia got her own whole story with Ganondorf barely interrupting, and then you get to play as him wrecking everyone's shit.

saved

As a player surrogate I never felt like Link needed to be especially well developed in any of the Zeldas. TP Link isn't any more or less developed than OOT or MM Link, Toon Link is the only one of the bunch with actual personality.

Twilight Princess isn't the best Zelda, but it's by no means the worst. There's a lot to like, given a few tweaks and more polish, it could have been better than OOT.

Sadly, it will reside forever as the most 'meh' Zelda title, below the greats and above Skyward Sword, which is undoubtedly the worst.

...

What do you expect from normalfaggots

I'm just angry there isn't enough Malon lactation art.

this the one?

I did not realize there was a nude version of this.

It took a bit of digging to find. 420chan has a thread dedicated to this artist, but this image was not among them. I actually came across it almost by accident on imgur of all places

Yeah but the version I was trying to upload was gigantic and the submission kept timing out and was too lazy to resize

nah, man

Cremia and Romani yuri lactation art, now that's where it's at

Why not all three?

Fuck, I think I might just do a three-heart Hero Mode playthrough of TP to kill some time until the Switch event. It's only 15 days away. MFW Skyrim is actually revealed as coming to the Switch and a bunch of faggots have to sputter

Assrim isn't a good fucking reason to buy a console faggot.

Jesus, has nobody ever played a Bethesda game on console? And if Sony can't be convinced to allow the console versions of Beth games to have mods, what makes anyone think Nintendo is going to be any more open to the idea?

that last pic looks like Felicia Day
don't tell me you can't see it
sorry for ruining it

Lol, she was raped by aliens.

because they're the same person

The world was worse then the world presented in Windwaker. That was atleast 6 years previous to it.

Can you explain what dark link has to do with the plot? other then being a shoehorned representation of something familiar?

seriously

Nothing
those are there just to represent that the twili are people of DARKNESS

Seasons, it has the best dungeon music

Twilight princess is a bad game. It is simply the worst of the 3d zeldas.

If there's something I don't like is how the game gives you some of the best combat in the series but you don't get to explore all of it's potential, the only enemies that can put up a fight are Darknuts and Ganondorf.

She uses you for most of the game, treats you like a toy, is condescending, hides information, doesn't care about you unless you do her bidding and yet she's still the best companion in the whole series because she has an arc and actual character development.

By the end I actually felt for her, as anyone consumed by vengeance and bitterness she thought the end justified the means but she grew close to Link and even tried to save him by sacrificing herself in the end.

Midna’s Farewell is one of the few truly emotional moments in the entire series.

Which one's worse though (besides Skywind Sword)?

Absolutely nothing, except lowkey fanservice.

A sweet, sweet cut of the Bethnet money. So long as they don't try to be the Switch's actual online service like EA did I can't imagine Nintendo would find much problem with allowing mods through the eShop or through an official Bethnet app.

You didn't like Sarcastic Business baby? The rest were worthless but Malo is great.

And the Cold Hearted Zelda probably comes from the fact she's gone for most of the game, and is downright worthless and unemotional when she is around. Besides, you're gonna have to accept that Zelda games is all about going after the worse girl

I think that's the first time I've seen one of those rabbit comics on Holla Forums without some autist trying to pare it down to three or four panels thinking every comic is CAD.

Someone with more time on their hands than I explained this very well. They made the extra combat moves completely optional so they couldn't throw enemies at the player that needed those extra combat skills to beat

7/10 - Very innovative game, sort-of holds-up although it's pretty cryptic and hard to play without a guide, it shows its age in a similar way to the original Metroid, although to a lesser degree
8/10 - Solid game that was very innovative in its own way, arguably aged-better than the first due to its more straightforward design, and was a major influence on the Metroidvania genre.
10/10 - The pinnacle of the 2D Zelda games, anyone who says otherwise is a dumb contrarian fag.
9/10 - Plays like a smaller-scale ALttP, has a really charming atmosphere and good level design.
3/10 - Self-explanatory, although they were ambitious considering the CD-I's incompetent hardware for normal video games, and the music isn't too bad.
1/10 - Blegh, not even worth making YouTube Poops out of.
8/10 - Has held-up reasonably well, includes some great moments even if the whole isn't as novel and compelling as it was in 1998.
10/10 - Takes the foundation of OoT and does something really unique and innovative, with a unique, melancholy atmosphere and great storytelling.
8/10 - Liked Link's Awakening? Here's more of the same!
6/10 - It's a gimmicky multiplayer game with some simple puzzles and combat, plays like the sidemode it is.
9/10 - Really fun game and excellent visuals that hold up great, although there are issues with the pacing in some areas.
8/10 - Surprisingly fun expansion on the idea of Four Swords, though like FF Crystal Chronicles the multiplayer isn't very accessible due to the dumb GBA gimmick.
9/10 - Great 2D game, even if it's shorter and easier than the others.
8/10 - As much shit as I've given the game in this thread, it's a rock-solid game that plays a lot like OoT, although there are some flaws and it's not as ambitious as it could be.
5/10 - Decent game almost entirely compromised by bad pacing and terrible, gimmicky controls.
7/10 - Improves a lot on Phantom Hourglass, but the control problems still persist.
6/10 - An evolution of Zelda in terms of story, writing, character, and presentation; a total devolution in every other area.
8/10 - A fun companion-piece to ALttP, though it's nowhere near as memorable.
7/10 - Not really a Zelda game but I'll count it anyway. If you dig Dynasty Warriors then it's fine but it's still monotonous as Hell after a while.

Sailing wouldn't be nearly as bad if it wasn't so time consuming. The dungeons where excellent.
I never got into that game. I honestly hate the time mechanics tbh.

ALTTP is too easy to get a perfect score.

3d Zeldas:

OOT > MM >WW > TP > SS

You were doing so well then you had to be a giant hipster faggot and give MM a 10/10 and OOT just a 8/10. Switch them around

not to mention majoras mask took place entirely in a bizarro hyrule

He wasn't doing well at all.

Link's Awakening has Roc's feather. It is a more complex game, despite being on the game boy. Nintendo did some of their best work on handhelds, and he's a pleb who doesn't understand that yet.

By that logic, Cremia and Romani shouldn't exist as separate people in the first place.

Why do people hate the tear sections? They're not even that long. You just run around and find them.

Take your autism pills

Because it's pointless busywork that you have to do. The first time around it isn't so bad because it's something new, and that applies to the first playthrough as well. But it really discourages you from repeat playthroughs, because it's just a slog that's frontloaded onto the game.

You have to do it like 3 times and it takes about 5 min for each. If you don't have ADHD its not that bad.

Midna is the shining light of Twilight Princess and is well-written and animated enough that she makes everything else look that much worse.

That is a big understatement and leads me to believe you've only played the HD version.

Nope. The only one that takes longer is the lake hylia one which involves a minigame and a fight. Not busywork. Git gud pleb.

OOT threw you into the action almost right away, you had to go grab your sword and shield and that was that.

TP just cocks around for the first 3 hours or so. Maybe the first 5 hours even.

Nobody cared about that.

There's bloom fucking everywhere and the textures were shitty washed out ones that looked worse than sotc which rendered much larger spaces on a toaster.

...

Twilight Princess is the best Zelda.

Bullshit, OoT enemy's are noticeably more difficult then TP's. Nothing in TP ever fucking killed me.

(It's also cause they cut all the companions out of the last 4 dungeons, but god forbid this guy at least makes it to the entrance of the city.
What?

One of the things that kills me about the Zelda franchise is that it constantly endlessly and gratingly recycles characters over and over and over and over again. Zelda, Link, Ganon, Impa, just fucking kill me already. Midna was one of the few new and interesting characters they made up, which contributed a lot to why people liked her. I think they made porn because they liked her, rather than the other way around.

That said TP was still boring as fuck and felt as drawn out and slow as Okami did. Wagglan assfuckery on the Wii did not help.

The problem with it being too much like OOT is that it does with while being pretty much all around worse. If it had been a better OOT no one would have complained. What good to anyone is a worse version of a game we already have?

The only thing that isn't busywork is the miniboss, which I agree is pretty fun. Everything else is busywork because they force you to do the same thing twice over. You explored the woods? Good job, now explore them again because the first time didn't do anything of real consequence aside from allowing you to explore for real. Same with the other areas. Even the minigame is busywork, since you need to do it again if you want all the upgrades. It's pointless repetition for the sake of padding.

I bet you think modern horror moves are "creepy" and "dark" you faggot.

It helped that she has the only character arc in the series and turns out to be insanely hot later

Well, besides Groose later

both are genuinely good games and people are insane. b.but you might just have shit taste. Sorry, not a fan of poopdick. Do I have to remind you that the majority of people (even people on this board) support Pedophilia, Bestiality and Sodomy?

The way I see it, when you make a sequel, you either have to give the fans something new, or the same thing done better. The same thing done worse doesn't fly.

Only losers don't like Twilight Princess.

concise and to the point. Ether iterate, refine and improve the formula or don't make a sequel. Doing something "new" just for the sake of introducing gimmicks is why Nintendo has been dying. Seriously, why can't Nintendo just make a console that isn't garbage?

I'm cautiously optimistic for Switch. At the very least, it's gimmick isn't one that will actively damage games.

I will never understand faggots obsessed with this shit, and I lost all respect for Nintendo along time ago. Catering to fucking timeline spergs is just another thing to add to the Nintendoom check list.

user, please don't go there. We're talking about Zelda, don't derail and turn this thread into /pol

I'll bite… Gays stopped caring long ago about fighting for their "rights" the only thing they care about now is to give shit to people who are non-gay. Most of them are bitter fucks who hate the world for not accepting them and want to prance around telling everyone how awesome/cool/progressive they are for their sexual preferences

The only Beth game I have ever played was Skyrim on 360.

That was MM little Malon m8.

Do I have to remind you that the majority of people (even people on this board) support Pedophilia, Bestiality and Sodomy?
Re you one of those loli=pedo autists?
