I joined the Immortal Flames almost solely because of this picture. Unfortunately the in-game bottom has much more to it, but it worked out overall.

It's common knowledge that Limsa has the best melee and tank gear, Ul'dah has the best heavy tank gear, and grindina is where fashion goes to die.

The Flame Elite's Vambraces look pretty good, but they seem pretty detached from the rest of the set. Look good with the cobalt-plated jackboots, though. Maelstrom is the only GC with a dyeable (company) Sergeant's Tabard, which is fairly annoying.

I think they're referring to the GCD. Its set up that way so people don't macro their rotations. To alleviate the problem with the GCD, theres a slew of off GCD skills you weave in between skills that are on GCD. Most of them come into play when you pick up a job at level 30 and level to 50-60.

The combat gets more complex as you go on.

Personally I found that MNK didn't even feel complete until I got my level 50 ability. It's like they designed the combat for endgame and then randomly sprinkled abillities throughout the levels with no thought as to how it might feel to play.

On a couple classes it feels like that GCD is fucking required just to give you time to think given how fucking complicated they get.

doubtful, even if you could, they're level 60 only. requires you to have +30 armor and wep aetherpool and sacrifice those form the POTD progress to pull out 1 of the weapons of your choice you just use the class you want to pull the weapon for then you have to rebuild it back up. I'm also pretty sure you have to have beaten floor 50 to even pull out the Padjali weapon as well…

tbh, i wouldn't be surprised if yoshi p and co. change how that works in stormblood. keep the level allowance, on it's own it's not bad, but maybe have like a "leve exchange" where players can sell their leve allowances to others in return for some special currency (not gil) that is unique to the leve trading system. at that point, it's kinda like how high-end materia and mhachi darkmatter works; you get a darkmatter, and if you don't need the materia, you sell the materia on the MB. later on, if you need the materia, you can buy one. chances are prices have gone down at least some, so in a sense the MB kinda becomes like a pawnshop for your materia. this "leve exchange" system would be kind of the same thing, since you could trade X number of leves to a person and receive Y number of special leve currency that you could either save to buy a bunch of leves with later, or perhaps spend on other unique stuff related to the leve system for starters, you could "sell" leves to an NPC to get some of the leve trading currency, and said currency could also be a random reward for completing a leve

honestly, they need to make DD accessible only up to a certain level (say 30) until a person has jobs unlocked. after that, grant access with every job quest completion based on the 10's. i.e. you could level MRD up to 30 no prob with DD, but to go past 30 in DD you need to do the WAR quest. then you need to do the WAR quest at 40 (which necessitates doing it at 35) to go past floor 40. so on and so forth.

would at least guarantee that you have jobs instead of classes, and force these people to at least slow down a little bit and hopefully weed some of them out cause fuck that noise user that sounds terrible
