Linuxfags get DirectX 11

Fuck that casual shit, what are some good DirectX 11 games aside from EDF to play once Wine supports it properly?

the reason why they choose blizzard games because for some weird magic, they run better than windows

Doesn't matter since the drivers are shit.

Are you seriously under the weird delusion that people using linux aren't casuals?
You do realize they play the boring shit you genuinely like just because they can't play anything else, right?
As soon as they can run casual shit watch then flock to it like seagulls over your mom bloated fish cunt.

Shame about the shit game though.

Shit game or not, it's a stepping stone to running better DX11 games in Wine and finally overcoming that last big hurdle which keeps quite a few people away from Unix.

Pretty neat I guess but I wish the WINE developers would get back to fixing shit that actually used to work but got broken ages ago and never returned to.

Can you name even one good DX11 game? I sure can't.

don't fall for the linux meme

Why not just pirate Windows 7?

having sex at your moms house

I spend the majority of my time on pretty much the same games on Linux as I did on Windows. Emulation really kicks the shit out of modern PC gaming.

here's some games for dx11
DENOVU is FOSS, right?

how is MAME emulation on linux?

...

rreee

I used to think it was shit because of bad graphic drivers or SDL vs Direct3D. For some reason I just couldn't maintain the same game speeds as on Windows. But I upgraded to Xubuntu 16.04 recently and I don't know what's different (my old toaster GPU certainly couldn't have gotten newer open source drivers), but now I can't even notice a difference between emulation on one or the other.

...

But Doot has good Vulcan support.

I guess it also could have been a poorly compiled MAME build on the Canonical repositories responsible for the shit performance before.

Its perfect.

not DX11 but just cause 2 is dx10, so those improvements are going to backtrack into dx10 too. But you do have a valid question, i can't think of a good dx11 game. Some aren't really good but they can be a 3 hour time killer, for instance the crew isn't in any way worth it's price but i personally had fun fucking around when ubi gave away the game for free

SDL isn't a graphics API. they just make it so you code 1 thing and it works on whatever SDL is compatible with.

I dunno about other people, but I run linux and I'm definitely not a casual. I emulate and consolefag to deal with the dirth of games, I'm also developing games to help address the dirth

If you were using standard Ubuntu before Xubuntu, Ubuntu's Unity hogs GPU resources.

I'm having trouble thinking of other examples that aren't racing games or don't have Linux ports yet.

It would have been simpler to say that SDL is an abstraction library. However, outside of drawing window contexts and 2D raster, it can not abstract openGL or Vulkan contexts. Doesn't matter, as openGL's and Vulkan's goal is portability.

Nope, previously it was Xubuntu 14.04.

Can't you tell the compositor to not mess with fullscreen windows? It should be smart enough to do that and also set itself to lowest priority or pause when you do it.

You sound like you know shit, do you know of any distros with lots of available packages and that run or can run KDE? I wanted something without systemd so i tried to get funtoo/gentoo running but the installation proccess being unecessarily complex tells me it's going to be a distro that just wastes my time unlike kubuntu which just works, so i stopped midway and gave up

Void Linux but you have to be prepared to learn a few things. It has a good wiki that lays it all out pretty clearly though, and its alternative to systemd is very intuitive and simple to set up.

And the gannu-males keep insisting Linux is a viable platform for vidya.

cool i'll try it out on a VM later. have a rare putin

we're going to take the means of software production and spread communism software freedom wether you want it or not

You're not going to see much through your Windows in a Blizzard

I don't know why but Blizzard's stuff usually works pretty well out the box on linux. When I played wow and ended up switching to linux it ran right out of the box with the only problem being some issues with game sound coming from wine and mumble sound coming direct from linux iirc.

Didn't they remove denuvo from nudoom recently? And doesn't it have a vulkan version too?

Yes. If it wasn't for the current feature freeze on WINE stemming from the upcoming 2.0.0 release, nuDOOM might actually be playable by now. Come back in a month, and you're likely going to be able to run it under WINE.

Everything both native and wine runs like garbage anyway because of bad graphics drivers, so i only play indies, grand strat or some other low graphics games and the occasional freetard game.

But part of the problem might be i'm using baby's first Ubuntu 14.04, because there is a lot of info specific to it. AMDGPU-PRO has has had newer version on 16.04 for a while and I think it's supposed to be the best drivers but apparently 16.04 is the devil for some reason and i'm not sure if they are comparable to the windows ones anyway.

I'm using 16.04 right now and while it's not quite the devil I don't game much on it outside of emulation which is worry-free. I do know there are some .list files on there that I can't delete via the GUI or terminal for whatever reason and steam's is one of them. Steam just don't work on there, initial install worked but after I rebooted it won't load and the .list is keeping it from being removed completely I think.

Hi, Mr. Gates

...

shiggy

(you)

Stalker CoP can be played on DX9 or 10 though, as long as you don't care for fancy lightning effects.

But the xbone only has one game.

What game?

You don't like your wine supported?

5 bucks he's going to say forza but retard who fell for the shills here, it's shit

Lincucks never fails to disappoint

Sunset Overdrive

Isn't that on Win10 too, though? I'm not /ogc/ enough to be privy to this shit.

Yes it's on win10 too, that's how i bought it. I wasn't enough of a good goy to get the bone but i installed windows 10 on it's own partition

...

Then it ain't an xbone game. It's exclusives or bust when it comes to consoles, user.

If you don't feel like building everything from scratch, but do feel like taking the time to hack up a distro to fit your liking, you could grab debian, remove systemd, and install other debian packages as necessary to setup the system to your liking.
without-systemd.org/wiki/index.php/How_to_remove_systemd_from_a_Debian_jessie/sid_installation

Could have chosen anything to test. Wew.

How do I get rid of Mint? I regret installing it over anything else.

...

t. lincuck

how much do they pay in the viral marketing business these days?

Eh, no point in using Wine since you can always use the VGAPassthrough method for 100% Windows nativity.

it's nice as an option just so you don't have to wait for the vm to load up every time.

How do you get wine to load up in less then a few minutes? No matter what i've tried, booting a game from cold in linux always took a minute or two for Wineboot to work.

I know OP didn't make this but this image is unbelievably homosexual

However much it is, it's way too much.

MGSV : Ground Zeroes

I wish. People don't want unix, they want open-source windows. And that's exactly what you get with 99% of linux distributions nowadays. If the unix philosophy were still alive in the linux world, then the term "linuxism" wouldn't exist in the bsd world.

...

Explain to me, in your own words, without looking up info on the web, why systemd is bad and should not be used.

Windows versions of Source games used to run better on Linux too, quite strange.

Run Windows 7 virtually with pass-trough, Wine fucking sucks.
At least you're running Lubuntu

Takes away control and it does shit without asking you squat, the things that fuck over Linux. Also it is made by a kike, the same kike that made PulseAudio.

Use Arch with OpenRC, lot faster too.

...

Hey how well do Adobe Products on Wine?

Living a dream. Literally.

How about the fact that Lennart is a cunt and shouldn't be allowed within 100ft of a computer after the shit I went through with his shitty Pulseaudio?

P-Please?

format the mint partition :^)

Get slackware

I would if I wasn't retarded enough to wipe Win 7 instead. Fucking laptops. Another HDD would have been useful.

Want something more lightweight. Or just more interesting.

user, please

Also if you are on laptop you are probably ain't going to benefit from having windows anyway. Games that have little graphic requirements usually work on wine perfectly without any problems.

Puppy Linux?

Arch Linux. No questions here. Its really interesting. While trying to install the basic stuff to get it working you will understand in the process how entire linux works, compared to mint.

Arch with LXDE. LXDE is fucking lightweight. Arch Anywhere is a retardprove installation ISO.

No wonder it's a piece of shit.

Arch has systemdicks
also Arch is pos it's only good for learning Linux. Check out Devuan, Salix OS, and Void Linux.

PulseAudio is aight
only decent thing Lennart made

If I could, I would.

Am considering Arch. Seems to be fun. Last time I demoed it, wouldn't do fuck all with my wireless.

Was the network controller showing up with lspci? If so maybe you just needed to configure the networking interfaces, or just install wicd.

Yeah, sure, when it works.
Haven't used PA in four years or so, no idea if it works better nowadays.

Seven years ago to be exact. Since I was using Ubuntu 8.04 at that time.

Source of the information does not negate an argument. Its validity does.

No it isn't. It's shit. It has shit defaults, works like shit for videochat applications by default, has a lot of latency and a bunch of useless options.

All I do is listen to music. Never had a single hiccup in the 5 years or so I've used it

All linux audio has lots of latency

Say that to my face, not online, and see what happens. Pulseaudio is not just shit, it's downright malevolent. Who the fuck came up with the idea of flat volumes? That shit is fucking evil.

ALSA is alright

...

Doesn't always work the way I want it. Audio comes in Mono out of the box and it's slowly being depreciated

I wan fuck brown Erin

I don't think that's physically possible. I feel like even the NGPC has more games, and that only has 70 games ever including the JP only ones.

Did you mean exclusives?

Download a new OS, burn to CD or flashdrive and reinstall over your hdd, make it erase and format the mint partitions or the whole drive if you want it dedicated to one OS.

On cuckchan nobody would even consider that a bait.

also I really like pavucontrol.

If you don't disable PulseAudio or turn off Timer Based Scheduling by editing /etc/pulse/default.pa and adding tsched=0 to the line "load-module module-udev-detect tsched=0" then yeah, it's shit.

depending what drivers you have. mine just works and even Slackware has it installed by default now

What distro? Even Debian had ALSA in stereo out of the box.
This has nothing to do with the point that its latency by default is acceptable whereas Pulseaudio's is shit
I don't mind ALSA getting depreciated for something better, but Pulse is just fucking awful.

It isn't. It's a silly post. It doesn't even look like it's meant to troll anyone. Why can't we have joke posts anymore instead of "bait"?

...

Devuan, I'll play around with it again sometime.

Bullshit you swine

There is an Arch OpenRC though. Try that.

...

Forget the link sourceforge.net/projects/archopenrc/files/arch-openrc/

There is also a Manjaor OpenRC sourceforge.net/projects/manjaro-openrc/

Also a minimal version so you have to thinker around.

fak

I guess that makes the average cuckchanner more intelligent than you

Wait, Linux has been stuck with DX9 this whole time? HAHAHAHAHA

...

literally never bothered me one bit

If I remember correctly the difference was that they did something weird when they used OpenGL instead of DirectX, once they realized what that was they implemented the same stuff for DirectX version as well.

Can't wait for DX11 on BSD

Pic related, you.

Thanks for proving my point, retard.

WHY
WON'T
YOU
DUAL BOOT

You would have to be terminally retarded to think sour grapes is an argument when anyone with a brain can dual boot/VM and pirate anything they want.

I do, but the last time I actually had to boot up windows for vidya was something like 5 months ago.

Why the fuck would you bother with Wine then?

I'd be excited if I didn't have a locked down gaming PC running Windows Server 2008 for that sort of thing. It's great that they finally managed to do it though.
I want Linux gaming to be a thing so that Microsoft has to put effort into making Windows less shit. That whole "upgrade to Windows 10" nonsense would never have happened if they had a popular competitor, and Apple is just there so they can claim they don't have a monopoly

...

People who confuse "deprecated" for "depreciated" should be decapitated

Do emulators on Windows have performance gains with DX11? Would it be worth it to run one in WINE?

shill spotted

GOOD, good for linux. good on you all.

shill spotted

Does Linux support Vulcan?
Will it?

Would user if I knew which were what.

The point of vulkan is that everything supports it. WinXP supports it.

Hey man, you wanted to know how to leave Mint. You can always download some tiny distro like Damn Small Linux for basic file recovery/hard drive formatting.

...

...

I didn't mean it bad. I literally haven't a fucking clue if I'd fuck up 7 or get rid of Mint. Unless it's clearly defined, I have no clue.
Might do.

If that wasnt 3.5MB I'd save it

I want Asami and Korra to scissor with my dick between their vulvae.

why do people act with such feverish anger towards linux threads?

i'm going to drill a cunt where your manhood ought to be and take your fucking virginity

Linuxfags are this retarded

I switched to Linux because Windows is fucking garbage.

There's one further dream yet, that's a bit trickier still, since you need at least one GPU per OS:
Native performance, no rebooting

Pick the best tool for the job. I only use Windows for gaming, on a separate computer which isn't used for anything serious.
For anything serious I'm not using putting up with that shit when there's a better option

I switched because windows keeps bluescreening me

The only retards are the ones that bandwagon to Linux for the sake of games or open-source software.

Linux is superior to Windows, but not for the reasons most people believe.

you're so smart and unique, user

Did I hit a nerve?

...

CHECK OUT MX LINUX, ITS DEBIAN WITH sysvinit as default with some systemd components and its Debain based.

Codex shit is good for gaming

Why not just use Devuan.

fuck off back to the GamerGate thread.

Because instead of actually fixing systemd related things like Power Settings they just dont work, sucked when I had a laptop.

I'd just like to interject for a moment. What you’re referring to as Linux, is in fact, GNU/Linux, or as I’ve recently taken to calling it, GNU plus Linux. Linux is not an operating system unto itself, but rather another free component of a fully functioning GNU system made useful by the GNU corelibs, shell utilities and vital system components comprising a full OS as defined by POSIX.
Many computer users run a modified version of the GNU system every day, without realizing it. Through a peculiar turn of events, the version of GNU which is widely used today is often called “Linux”, and many of its users are not aware that it is basically the GNU system, developed by the GNU Project. There really is a Linux, and these people are using it, but it is just a part of the system they use.
Linux is the kernel: the program in the system that allocates the machine’s resources to the other programs that you run. The kernel is an essential part of an operating system, but useless by itself; it can only function in the context of a complete operating system. Linux is normally used in combination with the GNU operating system: the whole system is basically GNU with Linux added, or GNU/Linux. All the so-called “Linux” distributions are really distributions of GNU/Linux.

What's your excuse, Holla Forums?

what is a better option?

Any benchmark comparisons?

Anyway i'll fully switch when i can play at least 70% of my library, meanwhile linux is just my porn system

...

that's not a tech wizard that's shaggy

Thats great but I still have no reason to use linux over pirated windows 7, especially for gaming.

You have one, it makes you stop being a gigantic faggot

>"Watch me swooce right in!"

freecuck logic. Back to reddipol with your tinfoil shit.

At least Windows 7 is actually fucking functional.

Harder and harder winblows is going against the unix philosophy, basically it's now bundling more software and doing things we normally did ourselves or with 3rd party software and of course it normally comes with microsoft quality

VLC is fine but cmon user, there is a better video player out there.

is this why i've had two friends telling me their sound cards broke in the same week? i thought it sounded odd.

why is cum like real life soap in every anime? You'd think the writers would have masturbated quite a bit and be familiarized with the substance

Not even Windows can play 100% of Windows games.

More like exclusively gaming which is objectively the only thing Windows has an advantage with.

I recently switched to Gnome from Plasma. Plasma giving me very odd login issues with duplicate sessions. I remember hating Gnome but using it now doesn't even seem as touch-screen bullshit as I remember. Not cool the way it tries to hide address bars and other options from window tiles like mac shit, though. Nothing some extra tweaking didn't fix.

You might want to refrain from shouting this when people literally arent trying to shill something.
Telling you people linux is shit is not shilling.
Using linux for security reasons is fucking retarded. Hardware has backdoors and you propably dont do anything to warrant enough suspicion for them to use it against you so why bother? Just pirate and install a system that runs the games you like to play.
Maybe you are the shills?

Overwatch is gud tho

There is a mass effort to get people on Holla Forums to not use Linux because pajeet fears it.

I wish ReactOS would finish tomorrow, could finally get a botnet free windows 7.
I really like the Linux philosophy, but hate how not user friendly it is.

Have 3 questions, I like to screencap a lot of stuff and put them together, I've tried numerous paint programs but none of them can make the canvas bigger or smaller just by dragging the the windows like MSpaint, also printscreen takes pics instead of copying to clipboard, mspaint was good for that, it's become a chore to put pics together in linux now, how do I make it easy like mspaint.

Also how do I use wget to archive sites? I've searched and searched but haven't found a definitive clear answer, there's a ton of different ways to do it, it seems.

Can someone point me to a good linux guide? I'm using mint and I don't know how to update it other than a few update notifications I get on the bottom right, I don't know how to maintain it other than bleachbit but it won't clean a lot of shit because I don't have permission, and I'd like to create a killswitch when using a vpn.

Ton of shit.

Some very few people in blizzard can still code. They are probably kept in some futuristic hyper reality cellar, just to make sure they cannot leave the company. Seriously though Dx11 is fine but who cares?

I mean seriously, who does this really concern? Linuxfags who play games already dualboot or go full KVM virtual. Linuxfags who don't use win even on virtual, don't care about games.
Sooo…. what?

True words, that hurt. This is the future. Pay to play. After a generation, you cannot play the games that are over 4 years old if the company you bought the playtime from don't want you to play them.
Killing games is the new hip thing.
Pic. not even from this planet.

Windows can run Linux applications now

Linux can run Windows applications now

Does stuff like Gparted work? I can ditch 99% of the job i do in linux if it does

...

I've had Windows 7 restart on me while I was working. I've had it enable automatic updates that I disabled, then pester me about upgrading to Windows 10, and closing the window counts as a yes.
An OS's job is to get the fuck out of my way and manage things in the background, so I can do whatever I need to do. A good OS doesn't annoy the user with notifications, or change settings behind the user's back. A good OS doesn't need constant upkeep, it should just do whatever it needs to do in the background. I run Windows Server on my isolated gaming PC because it shuts up and lets me play my vidya in peace. I run OpenSUSE on everything else because I can actually trust it.
I'll check out Windows for serious use when I can trust it with serious tasks. Until then it's garbage for everything but vidya, and with Wine and ReactOS coming up it'll completely replaced as far as I'm concerned.

tech me senpai, i pirated after the november update, the enterprise edition, because i needed to update for killer instinct

The automatic updates are still running and scheduling a reboot almost every other day, what the fuck i thought pirated versions had updates disabled?

also it wasn't exactly "disabled" because if you disable the windows update service then you can't play KI online, i think it was "deferred updates"

Perfect. Anyone have any of those healslut instruction/guide images? I need them a for a valid and semi-urgent reason.

Duh, indeed. This is a nonissue to people who try to force win/linux compatability.

My theory is that these platform independent DX11 binaries were given out as a part of a marketing strategy. Get people talking about DX even that it is not opensauce or even semiopen. Big business don't give a fuck about our precious linux distros, they want us talking about their products, and what better way than to release obsolete binaries, still forcefully restricted and closedsauce as possible. And here we are, doing exactly what was intended. Shame on me.

Reminder that Windows 10 has fucktons of issues with games older than two or three years and you often get better compatibility with Wine if you check the AppDB first.
repostan because I forgot to spoiler

lol

Go into search and search for 'Services'. Once in there, look towards the bottom for "Windows Update'. Right click and go into properties, once there hit stop on the service, and then disable on start-up type.

That will stop the updates form automatically start on start-up. The first pic shows what my current service looks like for Win10. Second pic is from MS tech guides for corporations to disable updates.

This does not turn off the w10 update service. Just that you know. It only makes it to not run on startup. Other programs or services can, and will start it later.

Please stop posting bullshit. Nobody likes that.

Citation needed please. I've had this machine running for the last week and have not had that issue come up. I even tried manually checking for updates and get this error message.

thanks, i get some weird error at launch but in the end i was able to get matches just fine

get lost man at least someone is trying to help , you can help by stopping being a giant homosexual

HOTWINES LET ME POST
;-;

I'm quite puzzled. You tested to start a restricted service as a basic user, and you got an error. How is that even possible.

Seriously though. Windows systems run services with 4 basic binary rules (there are more but these are the ones we need now): Runonstart, Auto, Manual, Disabled. What you have done is to change the handles from 1110 to 0110 or 0010. That is all. If you want to disable the service it should be 0001. But this will give an error because you cannot turn it off unless you run a corporate version of win10.

Pic. Related. It's W10.

If you actually were paying attention, I mentioned that I am running the Enterprise version.

My bad, sorry. You never actually said anything,it was in your pic. but I never open the pictures here. And the text was a bit small. But that's an excuse.
In enterprice version you can turn the whole shit off.

This might sound like I'm being an asshole, that is what I am now. You are telling people how to turn off shit that can only be done in your version. Which is really rare. So why not tell that this "fix" is only for you. That's pretty shitty way of helping.

Still sorry about the not opening your pic.

Holy shit. I was the asshole all along. (what a twist) I just now actually read all the posts. Sorry dude. I'm out.

Just watch out for the updates on w10, they will change your life, for the better.

Pic. is me, basically.

Don't feel bad, every Linux thread some assclown shows up to shill for MS. Even though there are zero vidya reasons to ever install Windows 10, and plenty of reasons not to.
Yeah, I played that 20 years ago and it wasn't that good then either. I don't know why anyone would give a shit about the freemium remaster.

DX11 support is nice for WINE though. It'll be handy to play EDF.

Sadly i won't fully move completely until windows 7 support is dropped but by then maybe i can enjoy Overwatch on linux. Least I have M&B:W

tbh if you did a poll i am placing my bets on a 5% linux share on Holla Forums

Codemonkey should have access to that kind of data, browsers report their operating systems to the website they're going to and while that can be changed nobody really does it since there's no actual reason to

You can't see it in first person I know but I also want to take screens of it in the menus and shit
Dem defined hip bones

wait, people actually use that shit?
Gparted is fucking horrible. Linux thus far has no decent partition management software. Even Windows' diskpart is a more powerful tool. The only advantage gparted has is filesystem support while diskpart can only support ntfs, exfat, and fat/fat32

Are you fucking retarded?

But then you'll get the privacyfags up in arms over it including myself for data collecting.

Brother, I genuinely recommend you take some time to learn SFM.
It's daunting but it's well worth it, your boner will thank you

How do I update packages in Linux? I've searched on the internet but get a million and one answers.

Then they're not real privacyfags

depends on your distro, for instance on debian-based ones you would run "sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get upgrade -y" on a terminal or use the GUI interface that depends on the distro (try searching software or software center and something should appear) or for instance if you run something like arch linux "Pacman -Syu". It really depends on your distro in the end

I dunno dude, models always look weird in programs like that. From any game, really. When you take them out of their game's engine they lose whatever visual effect it is that makes them look good.
Plus, I know a lot of people use it to make porn, but I'm not really interested in that front. It's kind of weird and nitpicky but full nudity kind of ruins the effect of exposed midriff for me. It has to be just the tummy by itself (a bit higher to underboob or a bit lower to mons flashing is also acceptable at a push) or the effect is lost. Nobody knows my feels.

Hy,

I am not a shill, i just wanted to know about that image you posted. How many do know about this and is it regularly shared on this board? Since when is this image shared here? Where does it come from, who made this image? What needs to happened so people on this imageboard would stop posting this?

thank you.

Shit, forgot to name distro. I'm using linux mint. It's not the first time I've used that command I just forgot how to use it. I want to update qbittorrent specifically, I've tried sudo apt-get update qbittorrent but it doesn't work though. Isn't that command supposed to update all packages? I installed qbittorrent through the terminal

Package manager? I found qbittorrent but no way to update it. I'm hoping linux is easy to use and there's just a learning curve because I'm a bit discouraged. I just want to browse the internet and not have to worry the botnet, although I'm aware using linux alone won't free me from it.

Just use apt-get you dummy.

I tired the full sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get upgrade qbittorrent but I get this. 99% of the time installing something or updating something results in failure and googling doesn't give a clear cut solution.

close the gui you have open
this one

Alright I found this command on a site

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:qbittorrent-team/qbittorrent-stable
sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get install qbittorrent

My understanding is when installing stuff as a repository, when you update all your packages, it updates automatically. I must have installed qbittorrent by itself thus it not updating when running sudo apt-get update. Is there a foolproof guide to learning Linux? Thanks a lot.

you dont need to add the new repo. there already is a new version in the default ones.
this is failing because you have the gui opened. close it and run those apt-get command and it will update

How can I test that command now that I've updated qbittorrent succesfully?

dpkg-query -l | grep qbittorrent

sorry, what command? these ones?

This is the first time i saw this image, i didn't read it, it's just too much and actually there is nothing important on it. I think the image was made by a 4chan user and contains many false ideas about how the industry runs. It was made to D&C the community. As an oldfag would say, its the ralph shill.

thank you

sudo apt-get works now, I wanted to test it and make sure it updates all packages. But now that I've updated qbittorrent, and apt-get update works I don't have any outdated packages that I can test it on. Thatnks a lot though.

Neat command, thanks.>>11475852

He absolutely could if he wanted to, press f12 then type navigator.userAgent in the command prompt
There are legal limits to what you can KEEP as far as your users data goes though, so you can rest half easy

It's cool user. I was planning on making a post here detailing on how to turn all that shit off based around obtaining a copy of Enterprise. I was lucky in that the IT dept where I work had access to the ISO's from MS itself.

Anonymity is a damn good reason. I don't send such info because of this, and I'd say that Linuxfags are more likely to do something like it.

pic related wouldn't stop happening to me until I purged lxde, and all I did was open firefox on a fresh install of Debian 8.

...

Should have gone with Xfce instead :^)

Will confirm XFCE is best DE next to GNOME
