Actually I'm not sure it was this anime at all, but it certainly had a very similar artstyle and the MC looked a lot like the guy in this.
The girl was a blonde qt (I think) with some sexy breast armor and in this transformation scene she got knocked off it in the middle and ended up naked on a bush if I recall. It was probably another series but goddamn the faps were legendary

Huge fan of the manga (shame the anime only adapted a third of it, and stopped before one of the most fun fights of the whole manga) here. Even though it's only an event, it's nice to see it gain some popularity.

Final Fantasy is the flashy one that gets all the media and hype yes, but Dragon Quest the classic everybody loves.
Its never going to be changed because nobody wants it to change.
"Modernizing" it would be like suddenly making Zelda into a point and click adventure game or changing Street Fighter into a FPS.

It's really rewarding to get good though, because you can do shit like in the video. There's nothing quite like it in any other game I've seen. The flying through the air, making it through tough obstacles and seeing the beautiful maps.
