I feel like they should be making harvest moons and animal crossings.
Maybe a large number of romance centered games.

But making games takes quite a bit of math and women don't do well in STEM fields in general.
Beyond that there is a stigma toward games and some times even just using a computer for anything but social media is seen as disgusting and nerdy.
