This is the second try for the fangame to put Teagan (best girl) into a better game. We started this about a year ago, but unfortunately with only two programmers, we didn't really get far and real life got in the way.

Basically what we're gonna do is throw out what we have now and see if it generates any interest to revive it.

It's made with gamemaker, so you can try to import all those folders or there's a .gmz archive that you can import into a build of game maker.

The game is far from finished and still has lots of debug stuff, but unfortunately we just don't have the time or motivation to get a better looking build for you guys yet. We figure this "event" is the best possible avenue to garner interest.

The controls are WASD to move, space to interact. Left Shift and Left Ctrl will open and close menus. The black box is a trigger to turn off and on random enemy encounters. (Space to activate it). You can talk to the two NPCs with space while touching them. In battle there is an "active trigger" system meaning that it is turn based but for the basic attack you can press space again in the indicator to release a second attack. The one spell also has an "active trigger" which allows you to hold space and charge up the spell. There is EXP and leveling up but it's very shallow at the moment.

The game will likely be buggy and there really isn't any content in it now, just code for the systems, so this likely will not be all that interesting to you.

We really wanted to finish this game and make it amazing for you guys, but it's become clear that will be impossible with the two of us. The best case scenario would be we gain a few new people with interest in working on the project (REALLY need art guys!) and then maybe we can set up an IRC or a discord. If not, well then at least we tried.

We worked with Lolioasis but didn't hear about the drama. Honestly we talked with him a handful of times and then he fucked off forever and we never heard from him again. We don't feel any ill will from him though.

There is nothing inherently wrong with it, but I don't see any reason for it to become one. I didn't see it as such a big event to warrant a sort of following. I remember the original user did another stream after one year, because there were a few endings he missed the first time, so there was an excuse. Also it's the community who made it fun, by complaining on how bad the game was ,putting songs and creating memes. There will be noting new on the table, there will be no new memes or jokes, it would be actually worse, people would just start repeating the same memes during the stream.
One of the main reasons why I think Teagen became best girl was because some user put the Nuclear song at the right moment(when she started bitching about what big failures everybody else were). I bet that if nobody had put that song, she would have been seen as some huge bitch who was no better than them, and then the anons would have complained about how stupid Ano(or whatever her name was) was for wanting Teagen back, and not some other girl/boy/they, for the band.
Another thing I remember is that at the beginning of the game there was a moment were you could press "X"(or whatever the interact button was, but normally on RPG-maker games it was "X") near a cat and the cat would meow. After that the chat would do jokes such as "press X if you want Ano to die" and people would start spamming X. Towards the end of the first stream, more people started watching, and they didn't know or understand the press X meme, but they did know about the press F for respect meme that was from CoD. So they spam the chat with "press F if you want Ano to die" and people started spamming F. You might say it's a minor thing, but this is how normalfags ruin things, by leaching on things that happened before, not knowing why they were popular, what made them popular or how they work.
Am I saying that the stream won't be funny? I don't know, maybe it will be, but all I am saying is that there will be no original content. That is why I am sugesting another game, so that things can be fresh and new memes can be born.
