oh boy have i got a story for you. i'm a biology major and when the media talked about a nerve gas attack when i was visiting my parents, i simply commented that it couldn't realistically be a nerve gas. not even talking about any controversial stuff, just that the media might have mixed some terminology (nerve agent would also encompass solid and liquid ones, which would be much more likely to have been used).
They went off on me like i had said that hitler was right. They treated my like a right-wing conspiracy theorist simply because i factually know nerve gas doesn't work in the way it is presented atm. They think they know more about nerve agents because they real a minute long newsclip than an actually educated biologist that spent a fucking year specifically into toxicology.
It takes a really long time and a lot of effort to undo Jewish brainwashing. A lot people can't ever be totally cured. It starts at birth and is constantly reinforced every day for years, by multiple sources all "confirming" the same narratives, and most people still don't know that the media is all owned by a handful of people. The idea that a "trusted" establishment like The News™ would either be incompetent or blatantly dishonest is too far outside the realm of possibility for the older generations to consider.
