Why do all the 'leftist' professors, lawyers, caseworkers, activists I know all want us fully employed, working for wages, paying union dues, doing manual physical labour at a slightly higher rate of pay, in in larger numbers than us proletariate currently are doing?

They all want us to gain power, so we can ask for a little bit more money and a tiny bit of life? I'm kinda thinking if we had real power that isn't what we'd ask for…

What even is their endgame?

They have no endgame since they do not give shit about muh gommunism too much.

Beats me OP. I don't want to work.

yeah i dont want to work either

Because we can't all be NEETs like you, OP.

this

Is that image supposed to be saying that as a NEET you have free time to pursue so many hobbies, like music, cooking, and being black?

yes

you need to read the situationists particularly vaneigem op

the people you mention are 'the defenders and false critics' of the existent

aren't they just lib socs?

Reported for rule violation. Hide, sage and disregard this tran-wreck of a cumdumpster.

This is so true. They always expect to be helped and offered free meals/drinks, but never return the favor in any shape or form.

Because you're making up for the retirement time you have currently for the time when you actually need it more than retirees need it now in the absolute worst possible future we could have imagined.

When your bones begin getting brittle and easy shatter, and you don't recognize your face anymore, you will realize that there is nothing you can do in America to get the care you need to get social security and medicare. On assumption they don't exist at that point as private as health insurance.

A lot of people this generation older are going to tell the younger not to waste their lives away like they did.

Because college is a liberal brainwashing machine. If you go to college with that in mind like I do, you'll be fine, but never forget it and always question everything they teach you.

You will find oppressed robbed people in Haiti, where Hillary has milked them dry in the midst of a humanitarian crisis. Or with her financial handlers, the sheikhs of Qatar and Saudi Arabia in their textbook fascist states.
If you live in the US you're not "oppressed", shut the fuck up and sit down.

My advice is to believe everything actually, most of it is useful, closing your eyes to it is not. You can modify and pick which fruit you need, it's strategy mostly. If that makes sense.

did you post in the wrong thread? what are you going on about?

It's a spammer trying to flood Holla Forums

Never made mention to that.

I think the kid is a chump.

So does a lot of the left reproduce the relations to production with things like living wages, unions, longer working hours?

When there are more people employed, they are less likely to be abused by capitalists and can make more demands. When we have a large unemployed population, you work for scraps.

Read Kalecki

it makes sense the capitalists would all want us working, them using the state to subsidize the system that serves them is classic orthodox Marxism that the state (professors, lawyers aka law) serves the interests of the capitalists

true, but under FALC nobody will work

everyone working sounds dystopian, like the perfection of bourgeois instrumental reason, all of us making things to keep making things endlessly to the end of time.

isn't there an easier way to eat and live?

I really recommend reading the essay. I think it's insightful.

I also don't believe that 1. people working is a bad thing or 2. that full employment is somehow the capitalists' full realization. The argument is that workers would have way more power than their employers if we lived under a system of full employment and full unionization and that's a scary idea to the powers that be – not that it's the end goal.

And everyone working doesn't sound like dystopia at all. What sounds really dystopian is something like Elysium where in theory, we have the capability for FALC, but under threat of unemployment, the benefits of advanced production are things that only the rich property owners get to enjoy.

I'll just post what i think is the most relevant part of the essay to save you trouble:

of creating employment by government spending. But even if this opposition
were overcome—as it may well be under the pressure of the masses—the
maintenance of full employment would cause social and political changes
which would give a new impetus to the opposition of the business leaders.
Indeed, under a regime of permanent full employment, the 'sack' would
cease to play its role as a disciplinary measure. The social position of the
boss would be undermined, and the self-assurance and class-consciousness
of the working class would grow. Strikes for wage increases and
improvements in conditions of work would create political tension. It is
true that profits would be higher under a regime of full employment than
they are on the average under laissez-faire; and even the rise in wage rates
resulting from the stronger bargaining power of the workers is less likely to
reduce profits than to increase prices, and thus adversely affects only the
rentier interests. But 'discipline in the factories' and 'political stability' are
more appreciated than profits by business leaders. Their class instinct tells
them that lasting full employment is unsound from their point of view, and
that unemployment is an integral part of the 'normal' capitalist system.

you just described my grandma

I already graduated college and never took a humanities course. I am now a graduate student. I think I will be fine.

Don't remind me.

speaking of work, this thread on r/socialism depresses me

reddit.com/r/socialism/comments/5hqr7v/communism_starts_at_home/

work work work you filthy men

They operate under the false assumption that the amount of work hours that are actually required to run an economy are very low and there is no need for all of that labor, its created artificially by keeping wages low. If everyone actually got the value they produced they would make so much more even after overhead.

They are fooled into thinking that the work hours are natural.

As a brocialist, I am not washing any dishes or doing any house work. Under Communism I will download WaifuAI from Japan and have it do the dishes for me.

KEK!!!

damn right

Work is more than commodity production.

Well I guess Lenin and leftcoms have something in common, you both preach work while doing nothing

BTFO

all preaching of work need to be hung, no exceptions

But how will you be free?

tankies will defend this

So I was just banned from Holla Forums for reciting the lords prayer, I've never even stepped foot on 8ch before.

This was my post:

"But anyway, as my last post in this '4ch-user-crossposting-to-8ch' saga, I would like to recite the lords prayer.

Perhaps some of you will recognize it, and maybe even find the space in your hearts to accommodate others in these times of strife.

> who sin against us.

(With a reminder that not following these simple rules results in eternal damnation)"

Maybe the Holla Forums ban wasn't enough because I'm obviously off the chains.

hmm, that wasn't meant to be a reply to this thread, but gods will I suppose.

That doesn't seem very ban worthy. It's funny that you upset Holla Forums enough to get reported in the first place though.

I thought that too, my thread would have been fine on other sites IMO, maybe promptly ignored but not exactly banworthy: 8ch.net/pol/res/8501446.html

I'm not exactly experienced with 8ch culture though, so maybe shitposts like mine end up staying on the front page for years and I'm an eternal sinner because of it?

2bh I always thought content on smaller sites was decided by the community though, I don't know why the mods had to step in.

In any case this experience did teach me a lot, and perhaps other people will learn from it too.

It's to prop up the labor unions.

Does she have a shrink or support group or something? Mine does and she says this a lot, and now that I think of it it sounds like more of the same unhelpful non-advice from the makers of Bee YourselfTM.
