The Findings sections contains ADL/SPLC "statistics," etc. This means Congress pushed this bill through on the same the ADL, which is cited in this bill, was feeding false talking points to the media that claimed Cruz was a "white supremacist."

This bill has to be opposed now. It will be very hard or impossible to challenge once passed, because it can label anyone a terrorist, essentially. It makes sense that they would do whatever it takes, including possibly set up a school shooting, just to get it passed, since once it's passed, it's impossible even to criticize for fear of arrest.

The gun grab may even be a distraction from the fucked up bill this shooting may be designed to push through Congress (although it could be dual purpose–push the legislation and the gun grab).
