Depends. It's just two layers that get further away from eachother the more you slide up the 3d, so you can't really make a smooth transition with it. That aside if you draw shit close on the upper layer and far on the lower layer, it can be pretty decent imo
Though it can be also used for easier drawing. for example you can color stuff in easier and you can just draw two things that overlap and delete the stuff that wouldn't be seen so just merge the lower and the upper layer together since the layer which you aren't on is visible in gray.

The 3D drawing mode is only good for using as lineart layer, so you can put colours under it, instead of slowly taking your time to not colour over the lines.

the dlc is downloaded separately, it has always been this way, you go to your title list and it should have a yellow warning sign, that means it has dlc available

when I checked, it said it already had dlc, so I deleted it and hit download dlc its giving me a failed to install ticket error

Opposite question to I want to reinstall Swapdoodle from eShop out of paranoia, don't care about most of the DLC. That part worked, but now I can access the DLC and it's thinking I still own it all, is there some way to make it forget? I'm assuming that it's just a bunch of tickets, but there's no way to identify the things.

Reinstalled the DLC and it's back. I'll keep in the SD for future reverts till we know how to prevent it.
