MORROWIND/TES THREAD

ANUUU! SPOOKI BROOKI EDITION!

Last thread is on page thirteen. I really do think the way to fix skyrim is to just turn it into fantasy STALKER. Amazing that what is meant to be an RPG is better as a shooter. Bethesda sure can fuck up.

But it's not a fuck up when it's WHAT PEOPLE ACTUALLY WANT.
That's why Skyrim was essentially an action game.
That's why they improved the gunplay in FO4 but didn't give a shit about anything else.
The average person purchasing these titles doesn't give a single SHIT about the RPG elements in them, so all Beth is doing is catering to them more and more.

Thanks, Todd, I hope you choke on your lies.

You did it wrong

I'm not done being disappointed with Skyrim yet, Todd.

Why are you disappointed in my game? It works as intended.

All this guy needs is a gas mask

fuck requiem
and there is only one reason why i say that, especially because it does actually improve many things on the vanilla game
dragon fights
the ai is shit, so the fuck is with increasing their armor to impossible amounts? at this point I'm used to being one-hit killed by bears and tigers and the like, so what the fuck?
there is no skill involved on standing on the edge of a cliffside where a dragon cannot land and just murkin his ass through a shit ton of arrows whenever he dive bombs at you for a attack that never comes
in the end, you spend around 200+ arrows (type doesn't matter, it does 1 damage across the entire fucking board anyway) killing the fuck until he gets to the ground.
at this point you better have a shield or a metric fuckton of health, or your asshole is going to be touched in ways you don't wanna.
and then AFTER spamming fus at the fuck and slamming his ass with a two-hander, what do you get? a puny dragon soul to spend on a shitty shout with a long ass cooldown. oh and dragon bones and scale armor too that have barely any use to a light armor guy other than to sell.

FUCK dragon fights. whoever thought that JUST inflating their health was a good idea deserves to die. not that bears and frost trolls don't do that shit anyway.

I'm ok with everything else though. like I said I've gotten used to being killed in one hit so I don't really care when the fire shout can insta-kill me, or anything else.
I'm even ok with making birthsigns unchangable, making it so that the player can accidentally choose a role for themselves without realizing what the fuck they just did.
I never thought I say this, but skyrim with hardcore mods is actually decent. It isn't good because many things are complete shit like the plot and core things.

The pirated version I have comes with requiem, but it would always crash if I used it. However simply disabling the esp does not disable the can't change birthsign bullshit so I had to enable the tower through console commands. Requiem a shit.

I think your standards are way too low. Skyrim is so generic, no matter how you mod it it's still boring as shite.

The weapon balance in requiem is pretty shitty. If you aren't using maces/warhammer you will probably want to wait until you get a daedric weapon before you fight with dragons.

Besides, if Requiem makes bears oneshot any armored player, it's absolute bullshit. A claw is softer than iron and even some dumb s'wit can figure out which part of your sword to swing at the bear to make it go limp.

What's the point of these generals? Lore talk is not exciting if there's always a thread so critical mass can't be reached for longer conversations. It's used as a Skyrim bashing blogpost because that's easy and hip to do, I'm only waiting for waifu cancer to start moving in.

No, it's because Skyrim is well and truly shit.

The only reason I am playing skyrim is because an user asked me to. The point of these threads is to play the game, then post about it here. So far only me, and one other user are though.

Try using it with fucking frostfall.
Having no stamina regeneration until level ten happens to be quite entertaining, especially when defense and offense requires stamina to work.
Hence the one-hit kills. Not to mention that bows can and WILL break, and lockpicking isn't even fucking viable if it isn't novice level unless you have a perk in it.

Skyrim is shit. It isn't generic. It's complete garbage. Mods bring that shit up. Read the definition of decent. I never said it's actually good.
However, "how you mod it it's still boring as shite."
nigger i can understand many things, but saying that anything can't be fun even if modded is a blanket statement that's been proven wrong many times.
don't just blindly follow memes, I'm pretty sure is having fun with his skelebro playthrough, even if it is easy as shit.

I'm using the axe of whiterun, a ebony bow, a daedric sword, and a daedric dagger, both with vampiric enchantments
I'm decking out as a thief, just to see the main differences in gameplay between a heavily modded hardcore skyrim and a vanilla one. there are many differences. One fails to peck at your asshole while one stretches it to make way for the god damn moon

Iron armor is heavy armor. I'm wearing leather armor. Do the math. It's a one hit kill both ways, as you said.
The differences between heavy armor and light armor is that one is viable in different parts of the game.

Thanks for the six millionth time we've all said it. You truly contributed to this thread by an obvious comment.

Go home, Todd.

I don't give a flying fuck you're butthurt I pointed out the game is shit. It's not hip to say it, it's not funny, it's not a meme, the game is fucking terrible and will forever remain as such.

Go fuck yourself.

And nobody said it was. Learn to read fucktard

If you don't like the thread, then why are you replying in it?
1) that's bullshit
2) go tell the guys at /tes/

You mean dead board?

Because I'm talking /meta/ with you guys. How retarded are you?

I guess I'll never get around to play this piece of shit

As much as I enjoy TES threads and lorefaggotry I kind of agree. Lore threads are only really good when there hasn't been one in a while. I do, however, enjoy the adventures of Mr. Skeltal and necromancy user, so maybe once their little adventures are finished we can give it a rest for a while

You're the piece of shit. You have been all along.

Play openMW. Works out of the box, no distant land but no crashes, either.

this

You may hate the lack of distant land but just deal with it, it's not that bad. And you can follow this guide to get some nice looking textures pastebin.com/7gF2VLaf
I found the concept art Ghostfence replacer from this guide and I loved it, I always wondered why they changed so much of the cool shit that was in the concept art when it actually came around to making the game

So while I love the steady pace of the game, what are some ways to make the early game (Balmora etc) interesting without snapping it over your knee with Alchemy? Shit's as abusable as DnD 3.5.

I don't hate it, m8. I don't mind the old textures either, nor do I care about the current lack of shadows. I actually like how the old textures look, all it needs is some bump mapping, which is on the way.
Being able to play the game at a constant framerate while memetically supporting the most based people in the Morrowind modding community (apart from project Tamriel) makes openMW so worth it.
Also their alchemy window is benis in bagina levels of nice.

I have no idea. Sometimes I just don't use alchemy, which helps to stay in character for any warrior and it gives you time for role playing. I haven't encountered any actual problems with not using alchemy as a money making scheme, you just have to do very low level quests. The first few in the fighters guild are pretty good for that, but don't underestimate the Telvanni agents.

Shit nigga the first ancestral tomb handed me my ass and you expect me to hunt down some godamn magic-ass mafia goons

fuck that

It's fun playing a magic knight, though, just gotta get going on Destruction and Alteration so I can nuke shit from the sky.

Well once I am done in skyrim I will pretty much be done with Mr. Skeltal's adventures. The entire reason I am doing this is mostly to experience new things, and talk about them with anons. This is the first time I have completed sotha sil expanded, trek through TR, and play skyrim. I also want to give some anons the itch to play through morrowind again. I might play daggerfall soon to. I wonder if there are skeltal race mods for it to. Also posted this character in my last thread, but it was dying. I do good lads?

No shit, man. Unfriendly skeletons, magic using ghosts AND bonerwalkers. Bad.
Mud craps? Rats? Good.
But I'm telling you not to underestimate that quest, it comes right after killing Scotthilde and they can fuck your shit up. Only one of them uses magick, but she's still stronger than that fetcher in Addamasartus and he can fuck you up with his poison spell.
You can, however, harvest some flowers (5 gold per flower really adds up) and sell them to some alchemist, then use that cash to buy you some not dying lessons with the blade trainers. Just remember to install that mod that makes plants behave like those in Skyrim instead of being a container you open. Graphic herbalism, I think.

What the fuck are you doing fighting dragons in leather gear and not just running away? And how are dragon scales useless for someone who uses light armor when dragon scale armor is light armor?

The face is alright, but she looks overly concerned. Also, while I don't particularly care, I'm sure a few people at least will get triggered by the tits.

A couple of years ago I shared a Daggerfall playthrough on Holla Forums. People seemed rather into it. This is the character from that playthrough.

I really tried getting into it, but the dungeons were just too much for me.

Wouldn't you be concerned if you were walking around with your tits out in public?

Orcs are the only ones with a good racial ability in Skyrim.

how?

I could tell you but then I'd have to operate on you

...

"runs" as in "runs like a British Leyland"

Fuk ta wurld, it ain't real. I chop ta wood wit my mind…

I have tried it again because I saw how much better SSE preforms.
I will redo them using console commands later on.
At least people continue on doing mod quest so there is still reason to play this game and they are easily transferred on SSE.

This looks like it would be more fun if it was Morrowind.

Who needs fancy armor when you have a grenade launcher? I am also experimenting with the character creator again, seeing if I can make a qt goblin girl. I can't seem to get the feet right though.

Some certain leather armor can't be disenchanted and put on superior leather armor.
And enchanting isn't a thing I'm leveling or focusing on, so without fuckery it's useless compared to superior armor I can get from the Theives Guild questline and Dark Brotherhood questline.
I also don't want to fuck with smithing either. Or really any production skill. Working on my combat skills so I don't die in one hit is my focus.

You need guns user…

I still can't get over how Bethesda can make a world as aesthetically pleasing as Skyrim, yet fuck it up so badly with such bland gameplay.

5 years later, and I'm still pondering it.

Well I tried to make her look short, and cute. I kept the freckles, but shortened a lot of her body including her arms. I also adjusted the sizes of equipped weapons. Here are a few pictures for size reference. Keep in mind that very short, and very tall characters sometimes have a hard time picking up things

...

She looks like she's a few chromosomes short, as well.

i want to play as a cat in morrowind. like, a cat cat. it's lore-friendly!! http ://www.uesp.net/wiki/Lore:Khajiit#Sub-species_Notes
there's a mod that has normal cat models (http ://lovkullen.net/Emma/cats.htm) but idk how to make it so they're a playable race. also how to make npcs acknowledge that i'm a fucking cat. how do?

Greenskins don't really suit freckles tbh.
Or looking like they're devoid of positive emotion.

You're going to give us the save file to that right? so I can make a companion from it.

there's a mod to enable achievements with mods

If all you need is the save file I could probably upload it to the vola really easily.

mixtape.moe/

Try here, it's really fast and shit.

I suggest you start by shooting yourself in the face.

Working on it.

This sounds like it would be a pretty good mod.

...

so your saying you don't want to play a spellcasting cat wearing a wizard hat that jumps at enemies throats?
fag.

I'm doing the Companions questline.
Being a warewolf shouldn't be this fun
It feels almost like Hotline Miami

Ok, I have a question. I can't find my skyrim saves folder. I have display hidden files and folders checked to yes, but it still is not there. I obviously have saved games, but they are not visible. Apparently skyrim considers the save file to be hidden as a default, and I can't get at it. My morrowind save files are all displayed though.

Mine go to
C:\Users\Name\Documents\my games\Skyrim Special Edition\Saves

Except of course most folk regard Skyrim as boring, and it only survives thanks to mods.

Aha, thanks user. I found it, and will upload a link to the file in a minute.

boobs and booty look a little unnatural and the face looks like a constant state of depression
8/10 passable

I just uploaded it to the vola. Gave her the name prixy. Also uploaded the SKSE information to I think.

ANOOOOOOOOOOON

I have been using almost all the mods from your mod pack the whole skyrim play through.

Oh the IMAGINATOR crashes my game by the way.

Thanks.

Come on man, put on some real armor. What are you, an elf or something?

Looks exactly like Incase art.

Moonlight tales and werewolf perks expanded.

Oh shit, really? I'm not quite certain why that'd be,. If you're on Skyrim 2: Electodd Boogaloo it might not work I think.
To be honest at this point I will likely just make the repack myself.

Mr Skeltal, I do hope you'll do Daggerfall next, finishing dungeons by levitating through the void between dungeon legos should lead to some wacky adventures. After that I hope you'll do a best of and recap, the Morrowind stuff was great.
We all know Skyrim is shit but you're making it interesting, so thanks.

Thanks for the mods suggestions though.

Thank this user here, , his skyrim mods basically turn it into S.T.A.L.K.E.R. It's not ground breaking, but it is fun, and about as much as you will ever get out of skyrim. Now we just need mods to give muskets, and guns to guards, patrols, and bandits. That will be loads of fun. Might as well give them russian gas masks to.

As for Daggerfall, that might be a while. Did daggerfall get the same kind of modding treatment that morrowind got, or was that before all the mods really took off?

...

I'm actually working on a mod to port over the gasmask mod from New Vegas into Skyrim. As well as this the last thread I posted this in some user was talking about how he'd made a custom mod to give NPC bandits the muskets. Sadly he's not posted it yet but hopefully he'll have it up and running sometime soon.
When I have my PC unfucked finally I will actually make a proper thread for this shit instead of occasionally derailing Skyrim threads with my faggotry.

Implying that wouldn't be the norm anyways, this game blows unless you turn it into something it's not.

I fucked up my Skyrim install a while ago and haven't bothered fixing it, this is going to take a while.

I wonder if removing leveling from Skyrim would actually improve it. You'd just have a bunch of perks at the beginning to define your character with and then maybe earn a few more during adventuring to gain a bit of a greater edge compared to more common people.

No more numbers bloat, damage sponges and harmless annoyances; everything is actually as dangerous as it looks.

Now. Ride the dragon while you shoot grenades at people. It's time to evolve to your perfect form. An undead dragonrider, wielding a grenade laucher.

Any good Morrowind armor mods anons?

I feel like the NPC in an escort quest. I'm just there to do some event flag shit while getting carried by the real heroes. Why the fuck am I doing this?

Never played Morrowind, should I play it?

If you like RPGs and I dont mean modern RPGs where its just an action game with numbers slapped on.

(You) (You) (You) (You) (You) (You)
(You) (You) (You) (You) (You) (You)
(You) (You) (You) (You) (You) (You)
(You) (You) (You) (You) (You) (You)

Is there anyway I can mod skyrim in such a way that
>roleplay my fantasy of being a gun-wielding badass from modern times who somehow ended up in skyrim being hailed as the dragonborn?

Oblivion and New Vegas are better for that

Thanks, gonna check out those mods.
hmm, good point. That's before the engine used in Morrowind – mods for Daggerfall were more 'user patches' to keep the thing running.

In many cases no. Though I havn't really toyed around with New Vegas. At least the mod scene for Skyrim is still alive. That being said I've modded for Oblivion for years now and I really can say that the material you get for it is limited. The selection is large sure but a lot of the shit you install is either unfinished or lacks polish.

Still it's definitely worth doing if your PC can't run Skryim or you want more ero than lewd. The jap scene was pretty heavy into Oblivion modding for a while so you get shit like pic related and more.

The biggest problem with skyrim from what I have seen is simply the lack of options. Perks made it worse by locking everything behind a points wall, in oblivion all you had to do was level up a skill to get the abilities that skill had. Such as new moves for your swords. Unless you have the tower there are no unlocking spells, no intervention so that when you get into a fight you can't win or run from you die, everything is much more expensive this time around, smithing is nice except it counts towards your leveling so you end up against more powerful opponents while having low armor/weapon skills screwing you over, very few places if any outside of quest chains offer you high level loot at lower levels to help overcome difficult enemies, and to top it all off the alcohol in this game gives really shitty boosts. Skooma is very useful though. The skinny of it is the progression in this game is fucked because of a lack of tools, and bullshit level lists.

Addendum: The voice acting for every character hurts the game as well. I was running around town looking for that grey-mane guy for twenty minutes because I could not find him, nor had the options in the dialog box to ask where he was. I finally went online, and realized I had just missed him. I also had met him in a previous character, but had forgot about him. Oh, and the lockpicking minigame is ass. I have not even bothered with it.

Why has there yet to be any sex mods that integrate well into the game? Why has no one made a rape mode that actually feels like you're raping someone? One where you have to grab hold of your target, and they struggle and cry, etc. Or impregnation mods where your victim actually gets a noticeable belly over time and gives birth to your bastard.

TES sex mods are super lame.

Does anyone have the music that plays on the radio from STALKER, and know how I can replace the combat music with it?

creationkit.com/index.php?title=Music_Track
creationkit.com/index.php?title=Music_Type

I would shave a goblin slut bald from head to toe, tie her up and strap her onto my body like a fanny pack my front so she's perfectly positioned on my dick, and go jogging, so with each step she slides up and down on my unbreakable boner, leaving a trail of a mixture of our sex fluids behind us.

Probably because they'd have to implement their own system for tracking NPC pregnancies, considering NPCs are not held in memory at all times.
They'd have to tack on additional information to your character that keeps track of when NPC was impregnated, then calculate how much time has passed since then when NPC(x) is loaded back into memory, to update the mesh based on what trimester the character would be at given that length of time, or if it should spawn a child NPC for the character when NPC(x) is loaded again, then there would need to be some extra animations and routines for the mother holding child/nursing/cradling/etc, and a new tracker added for the child's growth.
If there were a lot of impregnated women in a town, this would radically increase loading times as it would have to calculate/update for each woman/child. This would also sort of ruin continuity since nobody really ages in the game, there's no simulation of aging or new generations in general, so if only children aged from infancy up to adulthood, towns would get overpopulated really fast and we'd see a shitshow worse than the sims3 as towns became overrun with new generations.

Thanks user

Wow Remove Kebab is in the listed videos, who would fit more for that theme? The imperials, or the stormcloaks?

When will skyrim get SKSE?
It's been almost a fucking month and it's still not out
Are the devs too lazy or what? All the good mods wont be ported without it.

Get fucked, faggot.

Are you retarded or just shitposting?

I don't know anything about the special edition, was SKSE incorporated into it, or are you saying a port would not be necessary?

SKSE is not working for the special edition because it's technically different game.
That's why I am asking when will they make one for Special Edition.

SE improves the game's performance so much that it'd be stupid not to switch from the old one to the newer one. There's a lot of small fixes, 64 bit engine and no more memory problems.

How similar is the Thalmor to the Jew? I'm replaying skyrim for the first time since it came out with a shit ton of mods. The dodge mod and some others have actually made combat really fun. Anyway, do the Imperials have a plan to expel the Thalmor from their lands or are the Nords the last hope for middle earth?

Only in pipe dreama "once we make empire great again!"
Except the problem is that the empire is gettng shittier and shittier and there are no concrete plans and thalmor spies are legal everywhere. I don't see how.

You're forgetting neither Dunmer nor Redguards tolerate the Thalmor. Argonia doesn't give a fuck and Elsweyr seems to be a reluctant ally of the dominion.

From what I have seen the empire is too weak to remove elf, but the storm cloaks are also weak, and led by a leader that can't do much besides maintain his own power. If the empire wins it doesn't matter because their leaders are weak, if the storm cloaks win, they will eventually fall to the dominion because skyrim has been so weakened by the civil war.

I'm incredibly bored, so bored that I thought about reinstalling Skyrim. I heavily modded it and put 30 hours 2 years ago but it was a snoozefest. I didn't listen to all the criticism Holla Forums gave it, I went in wanting to like the game but soon found out it's a boring heap of shit. I'm wondering if any of the overhauls make it somewhat decent, it won't make the questing better but it'll make the leveling better. Not gonna bother with the remaster because no mods.

Literally how? There are 2 thousand miles between Aldmeri Dominion and first Skyrim ports and to get to Skyrim they'd have to march thru Hammerfall which doesn't tolerate them or parade for months all the way around Cyrodiil and be stopped at mountain passes. It's insane to think Thalmor can do anything in Skyrim.

The Khajiit have always been an ally of the elves simply as a matter of proximity. I doubt they really care though.

Guns user, you need guns
nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/42470

Enderal
it's basically a completely new game and story with Skyrim's engine.

enderal.com/?lang=en

I won't spoon feed you because I'm too lazy, but there are some gameplay mods that make the combat more skill based and involved then just hack and slash mindlessness. You can use lebbit to find the ones that you prefer. Some mods have bad scripts that cause memory leaks and crashing. There are also some mods that add more enemies and monsters and make the AI a lot better. It will be a lot more fun than it was when it first came out, but still only an above average experience tbh

Despite not being able to do it in the game, levitation renders mountains moot. It's simple, if the nords were strong that would be one thing, but they will not have the infrastructure or the numbers to hold the thalmor back. The only thing that might really help them is the weather, and well that isn't great against magic.

Is this what they mean by german autism?

...

German autism is a powerful tool.

As much as Empire is a good goy, they're not going to be resuplying Thalmor forces, meaning Thalmor logistics will have to plan transport of everything for thousands of miles all the way to Bruma. The war would have to be a blitzkrieg, which ain't happening because when you march your tropes all that way and there is no way they'd be able to keep it secret.

Thalmor don't have a big army. Their numbers were decemated by the great war and if Empire continued the war, after high casualties in the first few months, Thalmor would soon find themselves without any more soldiers. As we're talking about elves, they can't replenish their numbers within a hundred years.
They don't have the numbers to attack fucking Hammerfell, let alone do a picknick to Skyrim.

No, this is German autism.

Saying they don't have a chance against skyrim is simply not true. They lost in Hammerfell because of their great warriors, in skyrim many of their great warriors will be lost in the civil war. The Thalmor attacked a powerful enemy, and even then just lost to them. Skyrim is not going to be anywhere near as strong as Hammerfell was. The only thing that might give the nords a real chance is if they manage to train some really powerful warriors in the voice. That is really their only chance.

So it's worth to install it again and find some decent mods? Thanks.

I might skip skyrim and just play this. I should play Nehrim first though. THanks.

I'll start you on your way breh
nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/20923/?
nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/73921/?
nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/56147/?

Are you implying Hammerfall didn't have lots of its great men killed and Thalmor can't attack them regardless of that even though they stand alone? (which wouldn't be the case if Skyrim became independent and a pact between the two would definitely be borne our of necessity)
You're also equating having a war that ends quicker than Thalmor would prefer with country having no more warriors. You're jumping to conclusions.
The only narrative we we can be sure here is that Dragonborn lead Nords to a glorious victory and the time to rebuild/MSGA has come.

Why not? Seriously, Hammerfall was bled dry by infighting between its internal factions even before the war against Thalmor started and they suffered tremendous casualties, having only one legion and some rogue fighters left when they repelled elven invasion (with the helf of remains of some legionares).

Didn't the dragonborn just fuck off like Nerevar did?

Thanks, I don't want to be spoonfed with mods but I appreciate it.

What others?

Good armor mods are actually fairly rare, or part of larger mods

This is my favorite morrowind armor mod right now. It really makes the steel set look good even thought it is pretty bulky. It does require you to add it in the archives section of your ini file though. Other than that it's great.
nexusmods.com/morrowind/mods/43647/?

I am heading to Elsweyr guys, wish me luck. This will probably be the end to Mr. Skeltal's adventures until I decide to go to Daggerfall, but that will be a while.

That honestly looks like something you'd see in a pre-rendered cutscene for a late ps1/early ps2 horror game.

They're working on it. They said it'd be a long process since the game moved to 64-bit architecture.

Go to Falskaar and report back the shit you find. Or go to Hammerfell (Gray Cowl of Nocturnal mod) and do the same.

I'll do that for him: fucking nothing.
Seriously, the praise that mod got was so fucking unfounded I'm seriously wondering if anybody has ever even gotten through the entire thing

The reason it was praised is because people's minds were blown that such an expansive mod even exists for Skyrim, the same kind of people that have never heard of projects like TR or any of the actually good Falskaar-sized quest/landmass mods for Morrowind.

Turns out voiced NPCs do a lot more damage to these games than just the amount of topics everyone has.

I thought it got praise purely because "it's a big mod" and the fact that actually criticizing mods creates huge shitstorms and just gets people banned if they actually do it in a hugbox like the nexus.

If you want a good Skyrim mod, play Wheels of Lull.

Skyrim was many people's first experience with TES, and Falskaar many people's first experience with big huge mods. Velicky also contacted a lot of news sites, which hyped said mod up.
Nowadays the general consensus is it's not that great and definitely overrated.

I want to create a overhaul mod for the SSE but whenever I think more about it I get put off of it. How can I overcome my disdain for the Bethesda Launcher, Nexus culture and engine limitations?

If you can't be dedicated despite challenges, you'll fail.

Are there even import/export scripts for blender yet or do you still have to jump through hoops like a circus dog?

With the exception of the explosions in the first part, this mod really feels like a safari.

For models? Just use the ones for old Skyrim and run through them the latest version of Nifskope.

And here we have a rare treat…

one day, one day I will finally play this fucking game…

holy frickin ass crackers!

I didn't even try to get windows glow to work.

If you just disabled the plugin that won't change the data files that replace windows. Are you using OpenMW data file directories for your mods or at least Wrye Mash? If the former then just remove the data folder from your openmw settings ini, otherwise just uninstall it from Wrye mash.

If you installed your mods manually then you're retarded and you should try again.

Maybe I will. Looks like the people here have heard of me.

...

got it fixed, forgot to add the bsa files to the openmw.cfg, whoops

I met a bandit named Nels Llendo on the road to Vivec and he was nice enough to volunteer to become my next pet. So, let's review the process:

Make the subject dead. Strip the corpse. Extract the soul. Remove the head with the ritual blade. It must be an enchanted soulsplitter dagger. Then it's just a matter of bringing the corpse out to the wilderness where animals can skeletize it. In the meantime, I give Larlar Bereloth skeleton the equipment I collected for him. Now he can come adventure with me. In a couple of days, we'll be back to revive Nels.

...

I would expect that elves would be around pseudo niggers

There's a reason I used "shit".

Everyone gets an airship

Removing bugs, and removing elves are basically the same thing.

Is this whole thing just one big linear quest?

This mod is nicer than the game it is attached to.

...

It seems to be yah, but hey a sload.

I tried to blow him up, but he just ported away.

Mostly, but there's a few small side quests. The mod itself isn't very large, and you'll get through the main quest in a few hours tops.

>tfw actually having fun

goddammit zionmax you can't even let me have fun when I try to.

Is the sload the final boss here? I don't seem to have anymore quests. Although I can't get eridor to talk to me.

Yes, I think so ;_;

Well I guess I will go get Falskaar, and Hammerfell then.

The sload is part of a sidequest, as far as I'm aware. I can't remember exactly what the end of the Moonpath main quest is, but I think the Legacy of the Dragonborn wiki has a walkthrough of the mod you can check out.

So I did the Companions quest after putting it off for a while and because its skyrim you really have to try and make your own fun a lot of the time.

Eventually the 3 warewolves get buttmad after Kodlak's funeral and run out of Whiterun with all their weapons drawn and I got an idea.
>They aren't actually going to run all the way there right?
So I fallowed them and went on a god damn journey.

Fought a giant that was just walking around with a cow, wolves, trolls, frostbite spiders, ice wolves, a bunch of bandits because everyone ran too close to a stronghold, a guy who picked a fight with me and a merc who made the mistake of wearing a nice looking set of ebony.
Met Cicero along the way and ratted his ass out to the guard because while it has been 5 years I remembered not liking him.

The sad part about the 3 warewolves is that they all run just beyond dawnstar up a mountain and get to the spot on the last image and ping pong back and forth up and down the mountain.

To back up this person's post, The RPG elements are bad, really bad.

My latest issue was that in doing the Companions quest I thought for more than 2 seconds about the general consensus of The Circle.
I am infinitely more empathetic with The Silver Hand.
Sure the cure for lycanthropy is as easy as cutting off a witches head and throwing it in a fire, but you don't find that out until later after going deep into their onslaught of people who are just trying to protect others from actual monsters.
I would like to join The Silver Hand in the same damn way I can join the Dawnguard.
The Companions are mostly warewolves.
Of those warewolves Kodlak seems like the only one who sees lycanthropy as the literal Daedric curse that it is.
There is no command structure in The Companions and there doesn't seem to be one in The Circle either.
2 of The Circle are actually motivated to spread the curse by asking you to drink their blood.
People go fucking rabid, look no further than the guy in Falkrenth who murdered a little girl when even the man himself didn't want to.
I let out 2 warewolves the silver hand had in jail cells, both instantly attacked me.
When you first turn you are expelled right out into whiterun.
They should have stopped you from being able to harm anyone considering what the curse does.
They should hold the little ritual far away from civilization.

Accepting the curse is the only way to move forward in that quest line.
I should be able to assemble wuthrad without the curse.
The whole companion thing should have separate outcomes.
Instead its just

Well, it's a good thing then that "being a werewolf" is mostly irrelevant, as it is wholly up to you when and if you turn into one.

But yea, RP elements, re-playability and choices in Skyrim are somewhere between shit and non-existent

you can destroy the dark brotherhood but not the companions? Why?

These the ones?
nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/37994
nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/35038
nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/64651

constanza.tiff

While it was nice to have the ability to actually deal with a faction in a way that isn't "become the new leader in 7 easy steps", the Destroy the Dark Brotherhood "quest line" is a complete joke

it should have been you assassinating the assassins one at a time until you take on their base.

Do Wheels of Lull and Aethernauts next. Get yoshelf a space ship and space guns.

would also have been nice, if it were at all possible to do it without killing Grelod The Kind first.
It's just stupid from a roleplay perspective; why would a lawful / good character, who would be interested in destroying the brotherhood, just go kill some old hag?

So I've been trying out Morrowind and I have to say, whatever anyone says, I miss way points. It's fine and dandy to go on an adventure to get to a place, but it's an entirely different thing to wind up in an entirely different city looking for a farm to give some bitch her fucking bowl back.

I was considering to either start an Oblivion or Skyrim playthrough but I can't be assed to mod them to hell and back.

Well Grelod is a cunt so. But it is kinda dumb that there's not other option.

...

I remember when the game came out I killed just because she annoyed me, I didn't even know about arentino or the DB being involved.

I'm sure you can understand my surprise when I get a random note and wake up in a rape shack with some cunt telling me to kill 3 random fuckheads.

Links? Can't find aethernauts…

Because once you meet her you'd realize she's a huge cunt.

Didn't that have more to do with Hircine fucking with that guy because he pissed Hircine off by stealing that ring or something? And he does promise to live peacefully away from civilization if you let him live.

They were probably driven insane by the literal torture they endured at the hands of the Silver Hand. For me, that's where the Silver Hand loses all potential sympathy. I can see why people might think werewolves need to be killed to protect the people. But if that's the case, fucking kill them and be done with it. Don't lock them up and torture them.

Because she's an evil bitch who abuses children and actively works to stop them from being adopted into good homes. Maybe a *Lawful* Good character wouldn't do it, but Neutral Good and especially Chaotic Good characters might.

It's actually called Aethernautics, not Aethernauts, and honestly, it's pretty overrated. Even the creator says it's not his best work.
In any case, here's a link:
nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/41754/?

Thanks user. Two updates: I killed everyone on the battlefield because I have not chosen a side yet, want to remain neutral. What is a castle valshikaar or whatever?

Ok I used console commands to clip through the gate to go in there, and almost every single person was unkillable. More unkillable than killable, why can't we have fun?

You mean Castle Volkihar. It's where the super-vampires from Dawnguard live. You're not supposed to be able to get inside without starting Dawnguard, so that's why you couldn't kill everyone.

Been trying out some quest mods, journey to dreamborne island is kind of shit storywise but you'll have some really pretty sights (I imagine you're running SE), gameplay-wise it has a couple amusing segments where they turn it into sort of a shooter by giving you a stupid fast and powerful crossbow and spawn hordes of dudes with similar arms.

Currently on Wheels of Lull, pretty amusing, interesting story, sometimes a bit cringy humor but otherwise fairly strong.

Forgotten city next, supposedly won some kind of award for it's writing and boasts a 6-8 hour murder mystery, should be interesting at least.

has there ever been an elderscrolls game with good game play?

Playing Skyrim SE with only aesthetic mods really makes you see just how godawful this game is from a technical standpoint & a gameplay standpoint.
I've got 95+ hours doing in so far and the anger has yet to cease.

If it was so terrible you wouldn't be playing it in the first place.

The autism within wants me to achievo-whore, like I've done with a number of other shit games.

I haven't tried that Hammerfell mod, only Gray Cowl. Gray Cowl and Falskaar are the ones, though.

Does anyone have it installed? Can anyone confirm?

I have it and I like it, but then again, I didn't pay much attention to the characters' personalities before I installed it, so I can't say if they're right.

That sounds pretty similar to vanilla Morrowind to me

;_;

I guess I'll just try it out.
Good thing openMW supports multiple Data Files folders, makes mod installation much more clean.

How hard is it to just make a merged download for those who want everything.

its still sold absurd amounts of copies, which means bethesda will never change what they are doing. hopefully they will eventualy run out of steam after elder scrolls 7 or 8 are so dumbed down that even the normalfags start to notice. but they are a big company with alot of momentum. they can keep rolling for a long time even if they rot from the inside.

The real reason for using it is that the ship has a crafting room you can teleport to from anywhere, and always drops you on the world map by Riften, making it a faster escape rope in most cases than leaving whatever interior.

Fuck, I have them all, I'd make one myself to save people the trouble.

You can't play morrowind without the mods from here: btb2.free.fr/morrowind.html

There actually are mods out there for what you describe.

I think one is called Defeat, and the other is called Beeing Female.

You only get so much time on this earth. Be good to yourself. Stop playing Skyrim.

Listen to
Skyrim has nothing but disappointment.

Apparently it's just a few characters if the other 70+ are decent I guess it's better than having a horde of faceless cutouts standing around

...

A truly unique experience huh

I couldn't find an active download for that particular mod of Oblivion, so I'll never be able to experience it. Somone else over at LL was trying to remake it to fix the issues present in it however…

loverslab.com/topic/62141-rebuild-of-monster-girl-blockhead-edition/

I don't know how close it was to Emily's since I'm still playing morrowind, but I want to try it out after I finish. Also, was there any mods for Solstheim like Greater Dwemer Ruins and Sotha Sil Expanded?

this shit infuriates me, i like my 20% rested bonus. and i dont like smelling like a wet dog jesus.

MonsterGirl fucked my game up bad. I'm almost considering re-installing the game on a clean save and installing everything again because of it. I still see the corpses in the Oblivion Realm as dead naked women So I dunno I might install that but it looks pretty beta. I'll have to go through the files.

In other news there's finally a variation of Cursed Armor that can run with LAPF installed. loverslab.com/topic/65681-cursed-armor-with-birthing/

You just have to have it enabled to not being taken off during sex. The problem is that it's pretty bare bones in comparison to Wolf's but he's a kike retard so I don't bother with his stuff. But is there any cursed armor shit on NV/FO3? I can't run Skyrim because my rig is really old.

Is that pic part of the old monstergirl mod, the new mod, or the cursed armor mod?

Old MG mod.

Goddamnit. Well, if I can still get Daedra Spider Lady then it's alright.

The way both Mage's Guild and Companions questlines go I think they were quickly added just as an afterthought

I can almost sympathize with Bethesda on not allowing Serana to be sacrificed. They can handwave/"Dragon Break" away most things for the next game (e.g. Clavicus Vile saying that Barbas would be back after a couple centuries when you kill him), but the timeline with a permanent solar eclipse would be a bit harder to deal with.

Eh. They could just have the permanent darkness happen anyway for a different reason. Like, maybe the Enclave stole technology from the Brotherhood of Steel and nuked the sun. As long as they pay enough marketers to praise it on reddit before the Bethesdrones have a chance to form their own opinions, they can do whatever they want. Everything they do is great.

Falskaar looks really boring though, the gray cowl looks like fun. I might just do Gray cowl, aethernautics, wheels of lul to finish my adventures.

Go away Todd, no one likes you here.

If you don't have the spells Lightning Teleportation and Deep Storage, get them. They will help you immensely through some of parts where Wheels gets buggy.

Like the base game, any time something externally removes all items from your inventory the game has a huge chance to hang up.

Is that possible to do in the new mod?

Guess we have a lot in common then.

fund it

Idk if I'm that bored but it sounds s-sorta fun

your post made me laugh, but then I got sad thinking about the time you took to install and fanagle shit. you'll never get that time back

I had some mods for spells and shit along with werewolf perk mods. Used a self-recasting Dragonhide and a 400% boost to all damage as a werewolf. Was okay, made me want to play Gangrel again.

Hammerfell literally was on the brink of civil war before the great war, too.

I've used lgnpc quite a bit, and I can say that's inaccurate for at least most of the mod. I can't talk for the Nerevarine module itself, but most of the significantly changed npcs were largely blank slates to begin with, and most people in vanilla Morrowind are assholes to you, anyway.

I haven't actually played through Falskaar, yet. I just know that's it's an (overrated) landmass mod that I figured you might get a few jolly's, or at least interesting screenshots, out of.

Too bad Ulfric ruined that by forcing his High King, who respected him and was willing to hear him out, into a no-win situation.

Have a vid.

High King had no power. Even if he listened nothing would be done. Should've been a man and knew how to fight.

I always get confused when people say Morrowind was any different. It's an rpg-lite like all their games. The point is exploration, really.

It wouldn't have mattered if he did, though, considering Ulfric decided to abuse the Voice instead of using his actual combat prowess and strength. And Torygg could have agreed to secede against the Empire. Now we'll never know because Ulfric didn't even take the time to talk with Torygg before deciding to kill him. The main point is that Ulfric could have at least tried to find some way that didn't involve slaughtering Torygg.

Stats actually matter in Morrowind, though, way more so than in the future titles.

Voice is a combat power. Graybeards are a metaphor for how cucked we are in real life. Good lord, I'm happy there's only 3 of them left. No more. Voice to the people.

It's an art that can be used for combat, not one specifically for combat. It still doesn't actually prove his strength over Torygg in the traditional Nordic sense in the same way casting a fireball at Torygg wouldn't. He used an "I win" card that works on just about anyone not also trained in the voice. Hell, he wasn't even honorable in the lead up. He sneakily allowed the guards to believe he was there to speak with Torygg instead of challenging him.

I don't know bro, knowing voice in this day and age shows off not only his strength, but knowledge in history, self discipline and culture. It shows superriority far beyond combat.

Doesn't matter what guards thought. They wouldn't allow a match if he told them the truth. And that would be because empire tramples over Skyrim's own law.

So just like learning magic, then?

A lie of omission is still a lie. Ulfric's lack of honor in his approach to trying to free Skyrim makes him a giant hypocrite when he criticizes the imperials for lacking honor. I believe an independent Skyrim is for the better, but Ulfric is just a shitty person who approached the problem in the wrong way that ensured a weakest independent Skyrim possible, probably because that High King seat was too enticing for him not to pass up.

thalmors enforced their religion and policies on everyone and previously owned most of the population as slaves. and I think they push(ed) a politically correct agenda.
they also like fancy shit and view themselves above everyone else like snobby cunts, despite fucking trees.

I think you're getting several races of mer confused together, there.

I.E. the abandonment of talos and various changes after they royally fucked the Empire.
the fucking trees part was a insult referring to them being called elves and the traditional fantasy interpretation of elves, obviously wood elves do that and not thalmor. Everything else is true and something they did in the past.
Thalmor are jews.

Pretty much everything you just said is wrong.
The reason Thalmor are sometimes looked at as being like Jews is due to;

The thalmor weren't really a thing when men were slaves, as far as I recall.

is there a modpack with all this? I'm a lazy fuck and I can't be bothered to fight Morrowind again to mod it

...

its been hinted at that some kind of magic is what drove nords from their homeland, whatever happened up north was said to be artificial.
Thalmor literally believe themselves to be higher than men.
one of the real differences between them and jews. they are direct with their thoughts.

The Thalmor is the government representation (i.e. diplomats with power.) of the Third Aldmeri Dominion. Or in otherwords, people who wanted to recreate the first Aldmeri Dominion. You bet your ass that they had slaves.

...

Ulfric is a shitty person because he selfishly pursues his own personal goals at the expense of others while claiming its for the good of everyone. And I fail to see how guards simply doing their job, guarding their king, is corruption.

I fail to see how exploiting Nordic tradition for your own benefit and using what is functionally magic is honorable.

Because they should't be able to stop a traditional duel, which we both know would've happened if he told them he's here to do it.

wow what an insight

holy shit end your life

How? 3/NV humans don't look human even with modding.

The game sucks though. Your dumb "it's so big!" memes means nothing when 99% of it is empty randomly generated land. And there's only like 30 monsters or something, but you will only ever see 3~4 at a time since the game scales to your level. Also you can only play as a warrior or you're going to die extremely often unless your strategy is to be a pacifist and run away from every fight. You can kill the beginner rat with magic at the very most, but you will then have depleted all of your magicka and be helpless for the rest of the dungeon. (and that considers you have the maximum INT with 3x magicka perk)

What do I want to see in TES6? I'm glad you asked. Prepare for autism.

PROGRESSION. Classes should return, as initial bonuses to certain skills. Otherwise, you start out as practically an infant, with no comparative expertise in anything, which isn't conducive to roleplaying. Why can't the thief I'm roleplaying start out being good at lockpicking? (An aside: having all skills contribute toward leveling was smart, because it ended the incentive to engage in tedious powergaming; don't change that.)
Have a hard level cap. Becoming an unstoppable, ever-growing demi-god isn't good for role-playing. It's silly for players to max out skills that they start as complete novices in. Going from a decent swordsman to a master swordsman over the span of a few in-game months or years is believable, but going from complete novice to a total master isn't.
I doubt attributes will return, but if they do, to discourage min-maxing, just give the player a fixed number of attribute points to distribute every time they level up.

EXPLORATION. Tweak the quest markers (i.e., know when it's appropriate to have no quest marker, a world-map quest marker only, or a world-map and local-map quest marker). For quests that are ambiguous or based around exploration, like, "Find this guy, he's somewhere in Riften," I shouldn't be able to look at the local map and see exactly where he is. If the quest is completely non-location-based, like, "Find a copy of this book," don't have a quest marker at all. Skyrim did this sometimes, but it was inconsistent. It's absurd to be playing hide-and-seek with a kid, and see exactly where he is when you open the map.
Don't show undiscovered locations on the compass, unless it's a place I've already heard about in conversation or in a book. I want to actually discover places on my own, not just follow a black icon until it turns into a white icon.
The occasional "puzzles" in Skyrim weren't really puzzles at all; the first rotating-pillar lock is (mostly) the same as all the others, and the first claw door "puzzle" is the same as all the others. If you're going to try puzzles, make them actual puzzles, not simple read-solution-here-and-enter-solution-there barriers. There are a few real puzzles in Skyrim, but they're few and far between.
It's a nitpick, but don't show clouds on the world map. It obscures a lot of the terrain.
Get rid of map-based fast travel. There are tons of previously-implemented options for fast travel, including mark and recall, hired carriages and boats, and teleportation services. None of them break immersion or discourage exploration the same way that instant, cost-free, on-demand map-based fast travel does.

COMBAT. Skyrim improved on Oblivion's combat, but it still needs work. Higher-level enemies shouldn't just have more health and better weapons; they should be smarter, quicker, or use different tactics.
It's weird that an enemy is perfectly fine after I've hit him ten times with an axe, but the eleventh hit makes him fall dead, with no mechanically distinct in-between. There should be more intermediate enemy stages during fights, whether that be limb damage like in Fallout, or simply enemies who get frantic and desperate at half-health. Not all enemies need to do this, but some should.
Add a parry (and possibly a knockdown) mechanic to improve the rhythm of melee combat. Take some cues from first-person melee games like Dark Messiah.
Make kill-cams optional.
A nitpick: You should only be able to harm ghosts with magic and silver weapons. Fighting ghosts for the first time in Morrowind or Oblivion was actually scary, since your regular weapons did nothing to them. (Also, the "ghosts" in Skyrim were just regular enemies with a shader effect–not very eerie.)
I don't mind regenerating health (since you could regenerate your health in Oblivion and Morrowind simply by waiting), but health shouldn't regenerate while in combat or while enemies are nearby.

STEALTH. Stealth can be ridiculously broken. With a high sneak skill, I can crouch-walk in heavy armor, in a decently-lit room, five feet from an enemy, without him noticing me. There should be a limit to how sneaky you can be, even with a maxed-out sneak skill. Even pure stealth games don't take it to as absurd a level as Skyrim did. If you need to have a super-stealth method, bring back chameleon spells/potions.
The eye reticule is an elegant, efficient way of displaying how alert an enemy is, but good stealth gameplay should be about striving to be sneaky–invisible and silent–and the guard's awareness level should be a natural result of your sneakiness (or lack thereof). Implement something like the light gem from Thief, rather than letting the player just constantly manipulate the detection meter. You can also rely on audio cues to indicate when the enemy is suspicious or alerted.
There should be a punishment for failure in lockpicking. (Breaking a pick isn't a punishment given how common they are; I never ran out.) For example, if you break a pick, it could make a loud noise that can alert the enemy. If you break a pick while picking a trapped chest or the trap device itself, the trap could activate. This can be tied into the lockpicking skill, with advanced lockpicking skills/perks reducing or eliminating break noises and trap activations.
Don't stop time while lockpicking–now every lock becomes a race between your skill and the patrolling guards (assuming you're trying to be stealthy).

SPEECH. Speech was useless in Skyrim. Better prices don't matter when you can become rich from a few hours of dungeon-diving, and you rarely needed to buy anything from shops. There were too few opportunities to persuade/intimidate/bribe people. Add more speech checks, make them more interesting and important, and tie some of them to your choices and stats.
Also, it's about time this lesson was learned: Don't make speech checks that have "percentage-to-succeed," since that only encourages reloading saves until you succeed.

MISCELLANEOUS. Most followers in Skyrim had some backstory and personality, but some of them should also have real character development. Let's have some followers with a character arc, so I can see them grow as people.
Just a nitpick: crafted items should never weigh more than the components that went into them.
The entire point of having things like a weight system, horses, and houses to store your items, is to introduce at least a bit of realism, compromise, and meaning to your inventory. Give players a pack with reasonable size and weight restrictions. Have it affect your stats when worn. Let it be put down, and mark it on the map so players can pick it back up later. This will also add more context and mechanical meaning to things like horses and houses.
Include an optional survival mode. For the truly weird and OCD people, managing your sleep, water, and food can be fun. This could also disable health regeneration, and/or include an ironman mode, in which dying means that you have to start over from the beginning of the game.
Make every NPC killable. Morrowind did it, New Vegas did it, there's no reason it can't be done again. This fear of letting players make choices with potentially negative or unexpected consequences has to end.

Autism ends here.

Well you know, the initial plan was to give the player the ability to destroy all the factions. You could destroy the Companions by allying with the Silver Hand. You could destroy the Mages' College in retaliation for the (possibly magically-induced) tsunami that destroyed Winterhold. You could gather some guards and flush the Thieves' Guild out of the sewers.
But that all got cut, possibly for time, possibly for scripting issues. The only remnant of it is the ability to destroy the Dark Brotherhood. It would have made the game much, much better.

I just want the textbox back, it was really cool how you could highlight keywords when talking to NPCs to bring up new dialogue options. removing it was probably the worst thing they did to the series and hurt the modding community

I want Fallout 5 before TES6, so thatr we can have TES:Fallout 6 as a single game.

It also meant that you hardly ever had actual conversations and usually just prompted NPCs to spout lore about one topic or another.

Atmora is "frozen" and unchanging both in climate and metaphysic. The "artificial" thing that altered it was the Convention.

hehehehehehehe

You're absolute garbage, user.

That silly skeleton.

Most importantly - oblivion doesn't need as many mods as skyrim does to make it actually fun, since the amount and longevity of original quests supplement any overhaul, it only needed content and better graphics.

The only Skyrim equivalent of OOO was Requiem, and it was too focused on making game difficult instead of making it interesting.

Those highlighted topics could easily be renamed to make it a question, and the wall of text they spew out could be broken up, with the player giving some input or additional questions, so you have something that actually resembles dialogue. The Morrowind dialogue system is easy to work on, so you can just make that happen in vanilla, no extra tools needed.
You don't actually have any real conversations in Oblivion and Skyrim either, it's just "click one of these canned responses and be read the story about how some faggot's life got turned upside down".

Voice acting has harmed the modding community in that it is hardly possible to make a mod with any dialogue that blends in with the rest of the game. It's always unprofessional voice acting and noise, and it sticks out like a sore thumb, while in Morrowind, if you can write a coherent sentence, if you have a certain feeling for the English language and if you're somewhat lore conscious, you can easily make a mod with dialogue which blends in the main game. Huge projects like the whole project Tamriel are much more feasible in Morrowind, too, because the money constraint for voice acting doesn't hold down the team anymore. Not to mention the positive effect on HDD space.

OOO literally makes oblivion worse. I don't understand the popularity of that mod at all.

Oblivion XP is the best mod ever however.

Your arguments? XP is a small mod that also works with OOO well. Yes, you have to levelup in OOO to be able to progress through the game just like in classic rpgs, if you hate how in oblivion plane or in dungeon your level 1 player gets instantly rekt because of unleveled gameplay.

I think I did try his mod before, and had several problems with it. I tried to go through the one aylied ruin next to wear you come out of the sewer, and by the nine he had turned it into a death trap. Even high level characters would have a hard time going through the deeper areas. The problem I had with most mods that unleveled oblivion was that they would just put high level stuff all over without rhyme or reason. It doesn't make sense a powerful necromancer, with such powerful undead would be so close to the imperial city without the legion knowing about it. Super shady vampires I undestand, but not just random undead/monsters. The only unleveling mod I liked was, nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/37904, and it still had it's limits because while you could affect what monsters could appear at your level range, you couldn't make it so monsters would appear at higher levels the farther you were from cities. Still was a good mod though

Hmmmmm, I can't seem to get the Gray Cowl quest to work. It says I need to steal something, but I have stolen many things.

You need to steal something after becoming Dragonborn, I believe.

There's also a patch to give it a different start if you still can't get it to work out.

AND HERE WE GO

Should I tell her I am not actually the dragonborn?

I hope she's talking about her vagina.

Best to just leave her to her delusions. If she wants to believe you're dragonborn, no point in stopping her.

Funny you should mention that, I was just thinking the guy in the back is just sitting there eating like "Great there she goes again on one of her delusions, need to get more potions from that alchemist."

What graphics card do you use? I'm thinking of buying a GeForce GTX 1060 3GB and I don't know if that is good enough to max out the graphics on Oblivion with the best graphics mods installed.

So, do you think the fact no one reacts to you like they would a skeleton is due to some kind of Discworld Death effect, where they just can't seem to make out what you look like?

Boy, I can't wait until you meet the first guy you see in Hammerfell. He's really something.

Oblivion has shitty engine. Your top is not what you video card allows, but the game itself.

Honestly I can run the vanilla game on a 4 year old laptop, and that's with over 200+ mods on it that add over 10x the original file size. If you can't run it you really need to consider an upgrade.

...

LGNPC is fucking garbage. They could have just made a few additional NPC's and fix the shitty Vanilla writing, but instead they went out of their way to give random NPC's from Seyda Neen 2deep4u backstories that they're willing to just dump on you right after you met them.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Exactly what I did.

Enderal is much like Gothic: though clunky and in need of some professional QC, it has lots of heart and a good game design philosophy.

Ok so this is either
STEALTH GAME
or
[Muffled William Tell Overture playing in the distance]

This "trial" to get into Hammerfell is incredibly long, by the way. I mean, I sorta extended it by grabbing every unread book I found, but it's still quite long, unreasonably so, in my opinion.

There are bonus rewards for doing things the mod wants you to do them, but I doubt you really care about them.

user, I manage to play this game with over a hundred mods active at the same time.
I only had 3 bugs. 2 of them broke my game and i fixed them, the last one only gives me an occassional missing table mesh.
Git Gud faggot

P.S. I also play on a toaster laptop that's 6 years old and doesn't even have a dedicated videocard, if you're complaining about mods that don't work most of the time it's your own fault

Glad I dodged that bullet.

He's greatly over-exaggerating, unless you consider a tale of how a man got into the fishing business to be "2deep4u". It's true that the npcs are a bit too eager to give you their life stories, but nothing about said stories are out of place or trying too hard.

Though, if you're Redoran, LGNPCs has some pretty good expansion content for the House, and it's pretty much the only mod that does so.

>tfw no loli
It's like there were endless possibilities and now I have none.
How am I supposed to live if I can'ttake care oflolis?

Morrowind and Daggerfall have no substitute.

Oblivion is hot garbage if you take away it's modding legacy. It's shit to play even with mods tbh.

Skyrim is shit, questwise (and size too), but with the new version and with enough mods, it's a pretty game to go out and hunt animals. The very light action RPG elements keep it nice and easy to get to the sex scenes in the game without too much trouble.

Go back to none-SE Skyrim? At least until SKSE64 gets done and the loli mods are ever ported over.

I ran into a bit of a problem.

I have tamriel rebuilt installed, along with a mod that was basically some old dungeon mod that recreated a tower. Problem was, it just happened to take a bit of the landmass from TR's mod with it, overwriting it and the map in the process. I did this at the very beginning, thinking that I'll catch up to it later, and last night, I saved my game before I even set foot in it.

I tried out the dungeon to see how it was, it was okay at best, and I decided to disable it, but that land is still missing and the map is still messed up, not to mention that I can still 'see' the textures with the reflection of the water. Is there a way to fix this?

Redo everything.

The emperor's ghost says "check em."

It has some neat things, but it is comprised of too many puzzles not enough obstacles.

The grey fox is sad because I disturbed the peace of clod harbor. I don't care because I have a grenade launcher.

For now stuck at these centurions. Going to continue tomorrow.

I remember playing this, it's ending was cringy as all fuck.

Ah, so that piece of the land is completely screwed over?

I propose a mod for Morrowind

wat u think

No thanks.

Also wanted to ask, for the missing piece of land (which was a small piece), wouldn't a program be able to repair it like Wrye bash?

Nah, that would greatly limit morrowind's flexibility. In any case I have not been very impressed with this mod, but this part here is both incredibly stupid, and clever. You see I had a hard time opening these doors, why? Because they will only open when approached in sneak mode, that is the incredibly stupid part. The clever part is this is the hall of temptation, and each of the three orbs you retrieve fortifies one of your 3 attributes by 5k. Here is why it is clever. Back in the hall where you must place the orbs to advance is a teleport to skyrim, you will not be able to continue the quest if you take that teleport. I figured what would happen, but wanted to test it after saving. It teleports about 500 feet in the air, and removes the items from your inventory. Sad, but I think it would have been better if you were allowed to keep them. Still it was genuinely tempting to go through that portal. In any case I made it to the desert.

I assume you've unchecked Tamriel Rebuilt in the launcher. Repair in wrye mash and also change load order so the mod loads after TR.

I know who I am, the question is who are you?

But… but… I'm not the dragonborn…

I almost thought this sign said "Lust Sentinel."

I am actually changing my tune about this mod anons. I don't know why he put in that awful obstacle course of a dungeon, the desert is far superior. It's an enormous breath of fresh air after having been trapped in Skyrim for so long. I feel like Lawrence of Arabia.

I need to sleep…

I wasn't planning on playing through this mod, but now I've got to bring one of Trainwiz's teleport items (from Wheels of Lull or Fyr Manor) in there to see if I can cheat the quest and really make off with those orbs.

Probably can, I think it only triggers if you go through the teleporter. The only downside is you can never make it to the desert, and you have a bunch of shitty quests that will never be finished. You would be better off using a duplication glitch.

Did you play it after the ending was rewritten to be "lore friendly"? It's not any better.

Oh boy.
lgnpc.org/mod-ald-velothi
I knew there was a reason why I avoided this mod. Now, I remember.

You understand it is entirely modular and you can just not use that part, right?

New bread?

nevermind…
