I agree that Holla Forums's general quality has dropped in the way you describe but you're also ignoring the fact that when people, like myself, started coming here in 2014 it was a relatively homogenized group with a shared goal. People like to point to gamergate as causing this places growth but really the main cause was support of free, unfiltered speech which could no longer be found elsewhere.
