Hey guys, this is Dillon Hopper, CO of Vanguard America. As a project I am doing and to help raise funds for my organization, I am selling hand made real fasces out of my personal work shop. Each one is custom built out of an actual refurbished antique axe head, solid American Hickory axe handle, American Oak dowel rods, genuine leather strapping and Apholstery nails. These fasces are a fantastic show piece to hang on your wall or march down your street with. They have multiple symbolic references transcribed in their construction, such as, fourteen dowel rods measuring 14" in length, a solid continuous leather strap which binds the robs together around the center Axe and 88 silver polished nails to hold everything together. These fasces are not made with glue, adhesives or any sorts of binders besides the tension from the single leather strap. These are also, REAL axes and are very sharp. I make sure each axe head is polished and ready to be used if necessary. I do not recommend using them as everyday hand tools, though, seeing how they are rather lovely. No, not really. Mainly it was just a large chunk of TX and a few single individuals here and there. At the time we had maybe 100 members, they took maybe 25 or so and split, but now we have over 250 nationally. Still small compared to the other groups, but we're getting there.
