I don't care if you disagree, you're wrong. Communism is inherently anti-hierarchical.

You cannot disconnect economics from social norms. The current family unit and all its changes are caused by capitalism. multi-generational homes disappeared as soon as people went from being farmers or fishers to factory workers without much security and always on the move. Now, people live with their parents for longer than before because they cant afford their own places. Abortion has existed for thousands of years, so has homosexuality. People will do them regardless of what you want, and population control will be increasingly important as time goes on, because our planet is only so big. We can't have hundreds of Joshuas or Jacobs running around, eating all the food and fucking up the peace and progress of humanity just because religious nuts think condoms and abortion are the devil.

I don't think Communism is really feasible to happen tbh. Also I liked a lot of Colbert's old show

That's not what alienation in regards to capitalism means.

It means your work essentially is "outside" of your life. Being at work means your life is on "pause" for the 10+ hours (commute+work+unpaid break) you have to deal with it every day.
