Normalfags invested Holla Forums long ago user. We're about 20 exoduses from when it was still good. Holla Forums isn't one person but I'm one person that spends a lot of time on Holla Forums. The only people that complain about weebs there are the D&C faggots that do it on Holla Forums and every other board.

Talk about what JRPG games you like and why.

Grandia for the PSX was an amazing JRPG that gave me the feeling of going in an adventure that almost no other game ever managed to recreate, at least during the first part. The plot had it's original points and it's cliches but it did it's job fairly well with the idea that Adventurers roam the world and explore it for everyone else, that there's an End of the World and nobody has gone to the other side, etc.

Even the gameplay itself was really good, if a bit grindy. It had the "train stats by using your skills" that TES tries to use but it felt a lot better since each skill raised a particular stat and made your characters different depending on how you trained them and the combination of different magics made for neat effects.
It was still a little bit basic but I honestly regret that no gamedev has picked on the idea and tried to improve on what was a very solid base for a decent RPG.

And the thread is dead because every game you or the desperate weeb shitposters end up mentioning is exactly like what i described.

I did not knew the game was japanese when I played it in my childhood, I did not even knew the author before I googled it 10 seconds before posting that.
I genuinely liked the game for it's sake not because of the country it was made on.
