People like post-apocalypse stories. Hell, people are still jerking off to post-apocalypse stories now, almost a decade later.

The game's themes of hope in the writing helped balance it out for me, and it also let them do a metal soundtrack, so I'm all good with it.

I wonder how IntSys would turn Advance Wars into a waifu simulator if they made a new one today.

Perhaps they would bring back the tag system, and break it even more with love buffs.
