some friends of mine who have been there and had people that didnt make it out, pretty fucked
a lot of em are really shook cause it couldve easily been them, in hindsight the place was just a tinderbox waiting to go off, not to mention the fact that it's basically a maze and the stairs are made of pallets and can't take more than 1-2 people at a time

on a seperate note, this has fuck all to do with the housing crisis. the place was a venue for music and art shows and just general parties. to my knowledge, noone lived there. and like this user said they were there out of choice, not out of desperation to find somewhere to live. fuck, if your desperate in the bay area you might as well just sleep outside. its perfect weather all year long.
