Is this actually good or is it a meme film?

Is this actually good or is it a meme film?

...

Never seen it plenty of other kinos to watch in the meantime.

its so entrylevel I never bothered with it because I assumed it was for babby's first kino like Stalker, again, is it actually good?

Is there anything more pleb?

just admit that its a basic bitch film and overrated.

ahahahahahaha

i don't watch shit films.

I need to watch it.

Raging plebeian. Go watch it now.

It is good. Even if you ignore its pioneering production, it's a well constructed Greek tragedy. It a human story and it tells it well

It's easy to forget just what an amazing pioneer he was

Orson welles was a proto-fascist. Fuck off.

Was hoping for some solid bo fights but nobody in the movie actually had a cane.

...

Good movie

Are you okay user? Orson Welles was a commie jew not a fascist

impressive cinematography in any era, story is intresting, and what said, it's bretty good. It's not the greatest movie ever made, but it has it's place in history.

It's not the best movie ever made, but it's still a very good character study.

Citizen Kane is shit, fite me amateur kinographers.

...

It wasn't good then, it isn't good now. Critics hailed it because Wells paid for PR. Fucking Suspicion came out the same year and floored Kane in every way possible, cast, acting, direction, cinematography, musical score, costumes, locale, sets, etc etc etc.

Good. Not the best film ever made.

The movie about the making of Citizen Kane - RKO281 - is better than Citizen Kane.

Why would I watch a shit flick?

Orson's TV work was better.

Nigger what? Still trying to infect the board again /leftycuck/

Look here nigger, Orson may have been a socialist and a drunk, but he was not a kike.

>the (((media))) constantly attacked welles because they thought he was attacking them with his portrayal of Kane.

Overrated flick.

Citizen Kane is an actual 'overrated' film: an average movie pushed to improbable heights by desperate american critics who needed a new foundation to found Hollywood on. Wherein their birthrights are actually vaudeville and clowns.

It's not evergreen, that's for sure. Fellini, Kurosawa, Truffaut, Leone, Godard have this immortal quality to them that makes the movie feel fresh and snazzy as if it was filmed by a young man today. Orson Welles by comparison is a big, heavy, slow theatrical production from the turn of the century.

I have a hard rule where I don't watch any film from before the 60s. Old movies are objectively bad.
