Multi-tiered recipes where you have to combine ingredients into stuff used in other recipes let you go all out trying to make the best bombs and pies and whatever.

It's a really bad power fantasy that ignores any possibility of drama and tension in favor of jerking off the MC. There's absolutely no conflict in the entire thing, the goblins are the strongest group in the region, so there's no threat of getting wiped out, everyone in the tribe is totally loyal to the MC so there's no tension there, and the MC has so many powers that it feels like a 5 year old's OC.

Might be because Re:Monster is just an edgy mary sue Protagonist who rapes and kills his way through the story without any remorse.

Overlord is fairly similar, but Ainz-sama is actually able to take a whole country without (technically) killing anyone. It also contains less rape.

However you also had a dark souls style stamina bar that you needed to be well fed to keep filled for battle. Running out of Stamina or food would also cause health loss like poison.

This is somewhat in conflict with the guardians of Nazarik who have a different approach to the whole thing and see anything not from nazarik as a lower lifeform.
It's not great but it has something interesting at its core.

That is somewhat basic story telling and is the difference between skyrim and a more story driven game.

Terror Infinity operates under a game system and very very bad, but in a good way. Campy as fuck and enjoyable through and through.
Dungeon Defense made some references to such a system before promptly forgetting its setting to get caught up in other things, as these things go. Don't count this one, really, but it is good.
Everyone Else is a Returnee is a light read, it may be acceptable to some readers and not to others.
Gate of Revelation is excellent and has "a game system".
Goblin Kingdom is an acceptable not!RE:Monster, I think it predates it? Not sure.
Hail The King is the worst shit I've enjoyed, read this now. It's excellent and worth reading especially if you like Experimental Log.
Haunted Duke's Daughter has "a game system" but it's not RPG.
I Reincarnated Into A Vending Machine is a light read and parody, may or may not be funny to you.
I'm Really A Superstar is an interesting look into a sort of Idol parallel of our world and Chinese art history, fun to see a different perspective. Great read even if repetitive. Game elements are "hidden" mostly.
My Disciple Died Yet Again is excellent but currently on hold so you'll hate yourself for getting up-to-date. More Xianxia than RPG.

Limited versus system/opposition system that may/may not plug into new plot threads/side plots (Gonna be a Dragoon? Want to help out Larc? Gotta fight his sister & her aide. Wanna help out sis? This, you can go deep into dungeons and cook the flesh of the monsters you kill if you have the cooking skill and a portable cooking kit.
The cooking skill itself is based on the Learning stat(also used for farming, fishing, etc.).
There's no minigame for cooking, you just use the cooking skill and the raw ingredient transforms into a random cooked version of it depending on your cooking skill level(like goblin stew or orc roast)
Using the cooking skill repeatedly levels up the skill, but with diminishing return until you re-raise the skill's potential by training with an npc, reading a cook book or spending level up bonus points.
In most games eating cooked food gives you a temporary buff, but with elona it works like in most roguelikes and fills you hunger stat, saving you from starvation and affecting your regeneration. Also, food items gives your character a little bit of potential on various stats, good cooked food gives you way more potential.
Food can also be blessed or cursed, blessed food gives you bonus potential I think, while cursed food makes you vomit(doing this alot gives you a "Anorexia" feat, wich makes it impossible to eat any solid food until you either die or get enough liquids.)
Eating human flesh is taboo, but you can get used to it by doing it a lot, (eating dog or cat meat is heretical, doing so gives you negative karma.)
As you can see, cooking itself doesn't have much depth, but the amount of systems involved in eating is very good.
