Truth isn't easy to digest. The truth makes people uncomfortable, and often times can be so sickening that people will outright refuse to accept it. I've met left-leaning people with good intentions that still outright refuse to accept the truth because it makes them uncomfortable, and I've met right-leaning people that refuse to accept statistical truths because that story or statistic is too left-leaning for them.
Globalism can exist. Socialism can work. Any form of government, economy, or society can work… in theory. The problem with any system, the evils of capitalism, socialism, globalism, etc., is the greedy people at the top that look at the rest of society as nothing but a resource to take advantage of so they can line their own pockets. Every problem we have with globalism today exists solely because people in power are refusing to take measures to protect the little people, the general populace that actually drive a sovereign nation to be successful; multiple presidential administrations in a row pushed for policies that are destroying America from the inside out.
Hold people in power accountable for their actions. Remind them that without the general public, corporations wouldn't make money, government wouldn't exist, and reporters and journalists wouldn't have a job. They exist because of the little people, and yet they have the nerve to look at us with narcissistic disdain, as if we're some sort of filthy commoners who couldn't possibly understand the complex workings of society.
