Not enough enemy variety. Guns have multiple uses which is cool, but there's not enough of them and the weapon wheel was pointless on PC.

It's just too over the top for to take seriously as propaganda. Even the Jews are stubborn, technology skimping and ridiculously violent. The main reason why the world is so dystopian goes down to the Jews somehow managing to sabotage everything out of spite, inside the still existing "termination camps".

Its the most faithful reboot of the original with stealth that actually works.

Writing is underwhelming, it couldn't decide what it wanted to be serious or cheesy, and all of the characters felt like cardboard.
Gunplay is pretty mediocre, as is the level and enemy design; shit is just bland, linear, and repetitive.
Soundtrack was neat though, I'll give the game that.

And what really solidified the fact this is a complete turd of a game is that they have a level set on the Moon, but you spend 99% of the time inside the base, and the brief jaunt on the surface is just you jumping around from one door to the next, no combat or anything. They basically made all those assets and programmed in a different gravity variable for less than five minutes of a boring stroll.

I like old fps games. Doom, Serious Sam, that kind of stuff. I never play Halo, CoD or whatever the big fps game this year is. And my opinion from that position is that I bought into "it's oldschool" meme and tried it. Never finished. It was just so fucking boring and dull.

Level design is intricate, but uninteresting. Everything is so fucking gray.
Guns feel like shit imo, might just not be my style of a game.
I also heard people talking about a campy story, but I don't see it. It was a serious and straightforward kill da nazis story, noting fun about it. Yes, it was badly written and the begining of the game is badly paced due to story requirements, but that it was badly written doesn't make it over the top. It was more Suicide Squad than Kung Pow.

I'm still longing for fps to return to form. There are some signs of it, but nothing to proclaim a new golden standard. A big problem with this game is that it didn't steal any memes. Tell me to remember "based" FPS games that return the fun of old times and this one won't pop up - instead, Serious "Based Croteam" Sam 3 & Shadow "Poland Strikes Again" Warrior come to mind. The game itself is okay but it's interrupted by annoying story sequences. They also remove your weapons a lot and basically tailor your available weapons to the level which feels gimmicky and takes out one of the more fun parts of single player fps games (learning what weapons you like to use for what).

I like it. It feels like MoH Allied Assault with crazy stuff.
