Donald Trump risks China rift with Taiwan call

I'm gonna be pissed if Trump is the one to start a new world war. I was expecting Hillary to do that.

WE DID IT BOYS WE STUCK IT TO THE ESTABLISHMENT

Hillary was the enemy we knew, and her policies would have been better for working class people. We /accelerationism/ now.

Kek

It was on the cards either way, the death throes of capitalism were never gonna be pretty.

The absolute madman.

Actually I like that he's talking to the taiwanese.
Too bad pissing off China is a really bad idea.

Man what the fuck is this guy doing

He's also appointed Mattis as his Defence Secretary, so expected war with Iran by 2018

Retard.

I remember joking a decade ago that we should invade Iran so we would have a continuous New Persia with Iraq and Afghanistan. I didn't expect an absolute madman to go through with it.

wat

Did Obama just pretend they didn't exist for 8 years?

The detente with russia was always to allow the empire to confront it's real threat, Clinton was all bark and no bite if you where scarred of war you should have backed her.

But don't worry comrouges, we got pappa Xi on our side

china needs to relax

Maybe he talked to them using Chinese whispers.

Actually, every president since Carter has done exactly that lol

Not acknowledging Taiwan has been a law, policy or whatever for like over 30 years.

Donald J. Trump

Interesting how the U.S. sells Taiwan billions of dollars of military equipment but I should not accept a congratulatory call.

The absolute madman. Conducting foreign policy over twitter.

problem, goy?

what's the Holla Forums stance on Taiwan? obviously the PRC has long abandoned socialism but Taiwan was the base for the KMT

Taiwan is a tool of American imperialism. We should support China, the only remaining Communist country, in their efforts against American imperialism and reject the sovereignty of Taiwan.

...

His plan being to whore Russia out to trump like yeltsin did with clinton and then stab the syrians in the back

are you the "it's not about defeating capitalism" guy from the screencap?

just put the doomsday clock on midnight already T B H

No I'm just funposting.

I'm sure his reelers will keep him in line in the future.

Hahahaha what kind of fucking dumbass thought that Trump wasn't going to be militarily aggressive?

He has backed off of near all his campaign promises and you're telling me you believed the one he contradicted himself on constantly?

no, his head will be on a pike along with the other bourgeois

toppest of kekes

I have a feeling Trump's tweets are going to be the real high point of his presidency. I hope his party tries to reign him in and fails spectacularly.

Taiwan said Trump made the call LOL

Trump is closer to Yeltsin in behaviour than Putin.

If Clinton somehow becomes president this will be the case. Russia is not stupid, it has collected a ton of blackmail to keep every intelligent president at bay. They are actually genuine when they claim, they want to be left alone.
Clinton unfortunately is everything but intelligent.

The question was, whether the new president would be militarily aggressive against fucking Russia.

Shanghaiist is a worthless sexpat blog. It's the Senkaku Complex of China.

Taiwan is a unironically tool for America imperialism though.

Come on. Do people really not know about the situation with regards to this… When the nationalists lost the civil war to the communists, the retreated to Taiwan island and held the last vestiges of control over that island due to the weakness of the Chinese navy. The nationalist party continued to claim legitimacy over the whole country from that island. As the Cold War progressed Taiwan became a U.S. Ally, but as their claims of sovereignty were tenuous the carter admin eventually ceased to recognize them as separate from the PRC. The U.S. has maintained a deliberate stance of ambiguity towards Taiwan, while actively supporting their separatism, and that separatism has in the intervening decades transformed from the KMT claiming to be a true government of Chiba to a more western friendly ethicinority identity movement, while providing a base for U.S. warships to intimidate China in the SCS. The western, NATO ideology has constantly propagandized against China's claims to Taiwan.

it's completely true

i voted for trump because his policies are worse for working people, so they'll become further disillusioned with the republican party.

At least it's a target that'll actually fight back in a halfway-decent manner, for once. Guess its time for the military to earn its fucking keep.
