Bateman did nothing wrong

American Psycho was anti white male, not anti capitalist. The first 30 minutes of the film is a perfect summation of what the modern left believes. They think that white men would kill the niggers because they sleep in their own shit. They would kill kikes out of jealousy at the success they have, Paul Allen being slightly better than the Patrick the W.A.S.P. Or when he abuses the useless chinks in the dry cleaners.
Contrast that with the Bateman you see at restaurants admonishing his friends for not holding to the politically correct lines, "cool it with the anti semetic remarks" or the meaningless dribble at Espace. The left are convinced that the white males are only pretending to go along with the ridiculous jewish mental gymnastics that is modern life as a privileged white male.
When the mask slips, well it's kill or be killed :^)
