In this regard, Christianity lends itself much closer to civic nationalism than to racial nationalism. The two can be one and the same, in a homogeneous society. But consider a place like Texas, which was formed by a mix of whites and tejanos working together. The nationalism of Texas would thus fundamentally be bi-racial - if its people wished to throw out the Chinese or Africans, or to reject foreign whites and non-native hispanics, that would be the logical outcome.

That is not to say that Christianity and nationalism are fundamentally intertwined - they do not strictly need each other. However, they are also not fundamentally incompatible. To be Christian and to be a nationalist is not an impossibility - It is only when you put king and country about God, that the problems arise. To do otherwise would be to make the state your religion.

Huh. I'd never quite looked at it that way. I agree with that outlook though, which falls into the "love your neighbor as yourself" mindset and living at peace with all men, as best we are able. Afterall, it is hard to live in peace with all men, if your national leaders are doing all they can to sow chaos and bring in peoples who are not peaceful.

The issue is that now we are in a society which has no mysteries. There is no mysterious group of people in the far east or down south (africa). There is also nothing barring one from going to said places such as a long trek or a harsh desert. As a conseqeunce, a global society is what exists. Thus, one must actively (not passively) attempt to maintain racial homogeniety. Stating that it "can" be one in the same (but admit to the civnat thing) means that it would passively "allow it" (racial homogeneity) but would not actively fight for it.

That leads to a key issue (related to the passiveness I spoke of earlier). If God (read religion since, for the masses, they are one) is above king and country (not really an issue, the issue is moreso the issue of putting God above your family & kin), then if the religion becomes currupted, all falls apart. And, since Christianity only passively defends racial homogeneity (in its passages as well), someone could (theoritically/actually) make a claim that it's "right" in God's eyes that all are equal/should be allowed to mix, etc. Now, you might claim the king/country could become currupted as well, but you can replace those easily. It's replacing a religion (especially one which has to do with the end place of your soul) that's difficult, for who would risk damnation & (easily) replace one god with another?

I can't sign on to that idea. I was born white, not Christian. One thing definitely comes before the other, and it's the one that's tied to biology and the natural order. As a Christian, you should attribute both of those things to the works of the Lord and hold them in incredibly high regard.

I think most here would agree with you that Christianity was proto-Communism. I don't think most here would agree that this proto-Communism was void of Jewish influence.
