Holla Forumsack here. In general it's pretty meh, but the Operations game mode is a blast. Best map is the Italians vs Austro-Hungary, especially because both sides are entirely white models. The British/German one might be second, because the beginning of it has some trench raiding going on.
Guns are fun and feel good, but I don't like the system they're using. Each gun has three variants, all being separate individual guns. No mixing and matching. You want a Springfield with no scope, no bipod, and no stupid palm grip? Too bad. Best you can get is a Pedersen Device. You want a scoped one with no retarded palm grip or bipod? Too bad again, because that's what we've got. Pistols are also by class. Decent selection, sure, but you can't, for example, use a Webley if you're Support, even though you unlocked it for Assault. Prevalence of SMGs and stuff is a bit annoying, but it works ok.
Worst part for me is playing as a nigger, especially for the Germans, and especially that it's all black scouts, and everyone, at least on PC, wants to play the Scout with the iron sight bolt action rifles. Apparently you're supposed to be able to change the head of your character, but as of right now you can't. The files are supposedly there and everything. From what I'm seeing it's likely going to be in the day one patch, since there's a lot of features, specifically involving loadouts, that they're having issues with. Which they shouldn't, because they've been making these games for years now.
