GG is a turn based game, you really can't "rush" to UMP, it takes a given amount of turns for everything to be researched and new tiers require not only the appropriate tech levels but the appropriate suits researched. I got a bit pass F2 in terms of tech, but I start getting pushed back hard by the EFF who kept making pushes with about 10+ ships, the first thing to go was the held spaces over the Earth. Then I actually started losing ground that had actual resources.

The last bit I had to consider was that I was on turn 30 and remember OYW Zeon or EF need to capture ALL strongholds within 100 turns, so it might be an issue.

Do you think you can salvage the challenge game within the time limit, even if it's ungraceful compared to your more usual strategies? Those all look lovely. I think I've seen you post the Worger before, way back, it might've even been on halfchan back in the day. Very good grunt suit taste, although I'm having a hard time fessing out what the Zaku II P does different. Leg boosters, maybe? Those and the chest look nonstandard, maybe II Kai or Geara Doga parts? It doesn't look quite pigeon chested enough, I'm not sure. The helmet also looks a tiny bit different to the Commander variant. Those little ventholes on the head, I think.

I ended up looking up Gundam Breaker when that user posted his, and I have to say it looks really neat. Technical specification autism even if it's in a soft stat based beat 'em up makes my dick hard. I highly doubt I'll get it any time soon, but am I correct in thinking that PSN does not give a flying shit about the nominal residency of an account and I can flagrantly claim to be from Asia with no problem? I have zero experience importing, my power level is shit.

When the game is installed and ready log in with the account you made for the game (not the goone site one). You'll spend your first few matches against bots, no way around this.

No factions, it's Red v Blue. Good news is you have access to both faction's suits so you can do all zeon, all EF or a mix.

I got pushed back as far as Solomon and Grenada, because the game locks you out of pillaging resources for FIVE TURNS if you go full chaos through pillaging resources and funds. It costs 10K to quell the riots and you need every bit you can muster.

The P stands for Patchwork, the backstory is it's a zaku that is hastily rigged using a mix of Zaku II kai parts and old model Zaku parts (the chest and legs are Zaku II kai, the arms are Zaku II F type, the Head is from an FS, and the backpack is a Hi-Mobility type's)

Quelling is a one turn affair though, isn't it? Pillage everything you can and spend while leaving 10k to quell, repeat. That was the cheesy full Chaos cycle, I thought. Can you just not hold onto enough to pillage to sustain it?

I'm already trying to kitbash a do-all suit in my head that's not quite a grunt suit and not quite an ace custom or one of the Newtype beamspam murdermachines for GB3. Some sort of moderate production battlefield superiority weapon. Kampfer head for vulcans and the low profile of the head itself, Dom II or maybe one of the slightly later Dom bodies for the scatter gun, Gelgoog JG arms to free the hands from carrying small arms, Zaku II Kai legs for being unobtrusive in size. Slap on a bazooka, an extra chunky heat hawk and some weapon racks for pump-and-dump explosive drivebys, give it a drab scheme or camo and just a little weathering. Sounds nice in performance, but the more I run it through my head the more dreadful looking the parts sound next to each other. What do you think?

How is the MS kitbash, again? I think it sacrifices far too much in aesthetic out of trying to squeeze in weapons on every part while staying in at least the more immediate post-OYW level of tech, particularly the Dom chest which is probably too stark and flat for the other parts, but I'm wracking my brain for anything better that has an inbuilt utility like the blinder scattergun and am coming up flat. Maybe trying to put guns everywhere like a poor man's Doven Wolf without Zeta tech is dumb, and I should stick to a Kai/Kampfer bash that isn't as mid-performance as the former or as relatively fragile as the latter. Head vulcan, machine or beam gun ideally with a grenade launcher, shoulder & leg rockets, and possibly nixing the Gelgoog machinegun arms for something with a shoulder shield, maybe one of the ones with interior sturm fausts. An actual proper grunt suit for the time period, just a grunt suit with lots of munitions tacked on in the same way the later Zeon suits like to rivet little beam guns all over, if the Doven Wolf and Zaku III are anything to go by.

most of my suits in G breaker are fairly limited in their weapons, the Zaku IIP type only has the Zaku II kai's greandes as a optional weapon, outside that it's just the MG and heathawk. The Worger is a NT use suit so it has fin funnels, ontop of the Vdash's overhang cannons and the Sazabi's chest mounted Mega particle cannon

Battlezone is pretty good. If it were cheaper, it'd hands down be the recommended game to get. I wish RIGS had customization, then it would be totally worth a $50 recommendation instead of "eh, wait for prices to drop".

UCGO's gameplay was ass though, GBO is probably what they should have aimed for without the fucking EN bullshit.

To be fair though there have been constant reworks of MSGO's combat system since it was in closed beta and we're getting another rework soon. If we wanted a 'True" OYW gundam game it's going to have a lot of restrictions that turn off players

but it doesn't, the lock on is something you manually have to do, same as GBO. Also lock on isn't the end all be all, locking on alerts the target which is why a lot of CBR and melee users tend to going manually for that element of surprise.

the "flying" thing is them just being lazy with the fucking systems since it's used in water and in space to help with 3D movement. The last bit you have to consider is that you don't really "Fly", it's more like falling with style to quote toy story. You move forward through the air for a bit, but you start losing altitude, even quicker in shit like the guntank or zaku tank.

the only real "Flying" MS aren't even in the TW version (Bawoo, Zeta, Gaza-C, Methuss). Those have their MA modes and when in those they constantly consume boost like the coreboosters and dodais. Also you could boost forward in GBO, UCGO was dumped in early alpha so we can't say much about it since most of the systems in it are rudimentary.

Again MSGO isn't perfect, but it's still a good game that rewards you more for skill than having a high end suit.

on PS4 you need a PS+ shit to play online with others, G breaker as a series puts emphasis on co-op since the AI partners quickly become useless in later levels

The one time a Leo kicked ass was the first episode, piloted by Zechs. Of course it's a 10-20 year old suit by the time of the show but the other old suit a Aries handed the assess of an uncounted number of Leos in a straight up fight (episode 14). That's really bad.

It had jet engines strapped to it, something no Leo had. Leos were fucking walking tanks, and despite the prototype existing, you never saw Leos get that. I suppose it would be too expensive, but it would make more sense to have that in landing operations as opposed to just the parachutes and landing rockets the Leo have.

A series that constantly tackles themes of war to varying degrees of quality is not something I'd consider to not be mature. As long as it has action in it, as far as I'm aware the CEOs don't actually care all that much about the story so writers can get away with whatever they want.

The issue with the talgeese, aside from production costs was the Gs that thing pulled pretty much no normal human could handle without crushing their internals. the Talgeese's gimmick was it goes fast, outside that it's a standard Leo with a fancy head
