That reminds me of when I played Pokemon Pitch Black. It was filled with 4th wall breaking, cringey "humor" and unfunny memes.
I stopped playing because the difficulty was straight up unfair, you would have to fight Pokemon that were high tier, fully evolved with optimal movesets and items not even halfway through the game. (Fighting the 2nd gym who has a Bouffalant and a Guts Fire Orb Swellow is not fun.)

I used Project 64 a few years ago.

Mupen64++ is a pretty good emulator that doesn't infect your PC with spyware like newer versions of Project64.

While not absolute favorite, Haru's art has grown on me. He's improved massively from some of his earlier sketches, and kind of makes me want to actually go back to the beginning to learn drawing in earnest. Also like the artist of the last picture and his/her couple of Blancs.

Always liked DR's artstyle. The slight black lines around the characters and the way the eyes are drawn. And small details like pins and symbols that's often in the concept art. Shows real effort they put into it.

The artstyle alone really stands out. We could've commission our Waifus in this artstyle.

I also like how Junko's outfit is almost entirely based on Monokuma. The black-and-white color scheme, the red bowtie and necktie (which represent Monokuma's red eye and navel respectively) and of course the bear hairclips.

The point is, they wanted to make a portable and handheld all in one, so they've started to move to the Android-style market like the Vita did. Exception being the Vita had fun games come out, not sure what Nintendo is going to do to wow people beyond "play at home or on the go!" Since smartphones and tablets do that. Now if it's priced like the Shield TV and is more powerful, combined with good games, I could see it working. That fuck awful c-button layout hurts, though. There's already a failed handheld that tried to do that for ambidextrous support in reverse: 2 dpads instead of just 4 face buttons. It went as well as you can imagine.

I don't see myself getting it. It just seems like they're going to repeat the same mistakes they did with the Wii U and continuing to learn nothing from the experience. I'll probably just stick with my 3DS and even then, outside of getting the new pokemon game with my friend, I don't see myself getting anything else for it in the future after what NoA's been doing and will keep doing with Nintendo's games.

They're clearly emphasizing the name when they kept replaying the animation during the trailer, learning their mistakes from Wii U shitfest. And although a lot of scenes in that video were unrealistic, I can see Nintendo is aiming at the booming tablet market. Lot of kids going around that would prefer playing on phones and tablets than a dedicating gaming system. However, this is still a dedicated gaming system… need to see how it will be advertised further.

I thought that Nintendo didn't completely messed up the Switch. They gave the system a different name that's no way connected to the Wii and/or Wii U and a neat concept were it's both a handheld and a console (Although Nintendo is just ripping off those Gaming PC tables I.E. the Nvidia shield) But I'm with and will never buy the Switch after what Nintendo handle the Wii U last year and (((NOA))) on going censorship crusade.

Swappable controllers for different games, and two built-in single-stick four-button controllers for local multiplayer. Honestly, it seems pretty snazzy to me. And nothing says you can't use a standard Pro controller the entire time anyway.

I think the controller looks ok with that controller strap on. But using one of the controller pieces is just another repeat of wiimote.

I don't see many third parties making use of those controller halves. You can only do so much with an analog stick and four buttons so anything utilizing that will likely have to be designed with it in mind

The controller looks fine as a handheld(with the screen in the middle) its setup is alot like the vita. I don't think turning the D-Pad into 4 buttons was worth it just to have symmetrical controllers. I'm hoping this thing can function as a successor to both the 3DS and the Vita in terms of developer support.
