List of governments who are currently labled as "communist" but are not even leftist

Peoples Republic of Korea
Vietnam
Democratic republic of the Kongo
China

Vietnam is more leftist than most countries. They're doing a China-style NEP thing right now, but they have lots of social programs and they're way better on worker's rights.

They're labeled as "communist" or "socialist" because that's what they call themselves.

Can you name 20 socialist parties around the world that aren't just socdems?

This. They're basically doing a third way type of economic model. Not perfect but better than most places.

wut

Why the hell is that here?

Memezuela, Cuba.

Petro-populism, left nationalism and social democracy are unfortunately all conventionally left wing.

is that true? any reading?

How is the DPRK not leftist?
Who even calls the DRC leftist?

Its a monarchy
More people then the ones who think litteral nazi state north korea is leftist.

It's a state-capitalist despotate based on racial chauvenism.
It's pretty much what Hitler invisioned.

All Leninist states are trash.

If every time a country tries to implement communism it ultimately becomes an embarrassing failure for all involved, maybe it indicates that there's something wrong with the underlying theory?

Unless you're going to go with the "dumb slavs/gooks/chinks can't do anything right" or "stop fucking with my communism you capitalist pigs REEEEEEEEE" routes

False.

Seriously, in the US and all the 'true leftist' movements are either DemSoc (Green, SPUSA) or Democrat plans (Communist Party US).
Anyone know of any true Anarcho-Communist parties in the US?

...

Senpai, we anarchists don't want centralised structures nor do we want to take part of them
The anarchist revolution can only be born through the destruction of the state

Social Anarchy ≠ Anarchy

Allow me to clarify, Communist parties who allow large amounts of social freedom.
I like weed and poor people.

Aren't they one of the TPP staple countries in terms of where production would be outsourced to? The TPP is as neo-liberal as it gets

Don't know where you're located in the US but the SPUSA does allow for a lot of freedom, especially in terms of local branches. it's fairly non-sectarian and is entirely opposed to democratic centralism (they even stipulate you can't be a member of socialist alternative and similar democratically centralized parties to join). There's a few anarchists in my local branch and there's a lot within the national party, too.
