What it's proof of is that the ideology of lesser evilism is incredibly powerful, and that money does matter (Johnson had more than 3x as much money and that's about how many more votes he got). Stein still did three times better than her 2012 run and the Greens were able to get on more ballots than ever this election, including my state for the very first time. It is really disappointing that she wasn't able to beat Nader's 2000 numbers, but he also had some 40 years of fame and civic action results going for him.
