It felt like I was going to have a seizure and I also had fairly high pulse. It was genuinely uncomfortable and strangely it went away pretty quickly.

A friend of mine has this "disease", Cannabinoid Hyperemesis Syndrome. He used to be a very heavy smoker but quit after the diagnosis. He wouldn't get nausea right after smoking but just randomly one day he'd get horrible colicky nausea and abdominal pain and it wouldn't go away and the only thing that would help were hot baths. After quitting smoking the symptoms went away after a week or so. He got back on the weed wagon once more a year or so later and same thing happened so now he's sworn it off for good. If I had to guess it's probably a pretty rare symptom like 1 in 1000 or more and only effects you if you're a heavy user. Probably some kind of genetic susceptibility.

If I had to guess since Canada is going to be legalizing it soon, and probably other states to follow, they want to backpedal and not allow individuals to grow their own. Only thing I can think of.
