I did download Moonrunners from a private tracker, wouldn't recommend it. Wanted to see it because of its significance as it was the proto Dukes Of Hazzard, but it's very amateurish. Definitely worse than what I've seen from "The Room". Bad acting, bad directing, bad dialog, bad cinematography (including heavy blurring and vignetting, probably from using sub-par equipment). Very amateurish. The good things about it were the idea for the plot, the soundtrack and the driving. But the execution was a complete disaster.

I did DL from the site, but it was only 465mb; the torrent file is ca. 700mb.

Other than ‘A Serious Man’ by the Coen Bros., which was without a doubt the worst film I have ever watched, there is a direct to DVD film from Sweden, called ‘Hemligheten’ (‘The Secret’) from 2005. The Swedish actors pretend to be English/American tourists, and speak English, with very noticeable accents, there is low budget gore, weird, out of place cringe (not intentional I might add) humour that could rival that of Wiseau’s classic as well. One of the actors even has two roles, ’cause why not, right? It is just a complete and utter abomination, so needless to say I wholeheartedly recommend it if you want to see not how to make a film.

I’m always on the lookout for some good/fun ’80s/’80s inspired films though. I saw the poster for ‘Nightmare Beach’ recently, but sadly the trailer didn’t live up to the awesomeness of the poster artwork.

‘Blastfighter’ was brought up not too long ago here on Holla Forums. It is directed by Lamberto Bava, and stars Michael Sopkiw & George Eastman! Kind of a ‘First Blood’ rip-off, but I liked ‘Blastfighter’ much more. A really entertaining action film, with very good and likeable characters. Def worth a watch if you haven’t already seen it.
